My iPhone 4S screen flickers in all four corners

When I turn on my phone after a restart the screen flickers in all four corners?

Hello, Titan54.
Below, I have attached an article that I would recommend going through when troubleshooting display issues.

If the issue persists, see the section labeled Issue not resolved.

  • IPhone 4s Screen Flickering since updating to IOS 7.0.4

    Hi Guys,
I recently updated my iPhone 4s to iOS 7.0.4 and ever since then the screen is flickering in all four corners. I have been through all the forums about this issue and I have tried the trouble shooting techniques that are mentioned ie; turn off the auto brightness and turn it back on, or leave it off. I mean when i turn the brightness right down it stops flickering but that is not something that I want to have to do.
I have tried restoring the phone and this hasn't resolved the issue.
The phone is out of warranty but this issue was not caused by something that I have done but because of something that is recommended by apple (Updating the iOS).
When I tried to contact apple through chat they have asked me to pay to trouble shoot which is something that I am not willing to do.
I really need some help here if there is anything that someone could recommend to do to fix this it would so much appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Chris

  • Iphone 5 screen Flickers some time while entering app store password

    Hi
My Iphone 5 screen Flickers some time while entering app store password, not sure if it is BUG of Iphone 5 or I OS6 . Do I need to exchange my device?

It happened to me as well. Once in App Store and once in Flight+ app. It happens where the keys QWERTY is on the keypad. I assume it is a software bug in the OS. However, I don't eliminate the possibility of a hardware issue with my device since I dropped it on a hard carpet floor from waist height. No appearance damage but not sure about any internal damages. I will update this thread when I get more updates

  • Screen is  darker in all four corners

    Hello,
I just picked up a new 24" iMac and on all four corners of the screen it is visibly darker. Not a lot, but noticeable. Is this normal or a flaw? Anyone else experiencing this?
    Thanks,
    MIchael

I have noticed the same thing as well on my new 24". I have a couple 20" and 17" models (last revision) but they do not have the dark corners. Not something too bothersome, but I have noticed none-the-less.

  • The issue is the monitor picture does not extend to all four corners?

When turning on my computer, I get the HP blue screen with the display not extended to the corners, but when windows 7 came up, it would properly go to all four corners. Testing windows 10, after startup, once the display boots up it is not extending to all for corners?

    AP7663, welcome to the forum.
I believe that you don't have the correct driver for the monitor or the Aspect Ratio is set incorrectly; most likely the correct AR is 16:9.

  • Iphone 5c screen flickering, pixelated and then becomes unresponsive

i got a replacement iphone 5c from apple about 4 months ago. my first 5c started flickering and eventually just gave up on me. apple had it for 2 weeks and sent back what i was told was a brand new 5c. Lucky for me as i was just passed my 1 yr warranty when i got it back. the first time i turned it on the screen flickered a few times but stopped. Now, the app icons jump around the screen and the screen gets so pixelated you can barely see the screen. After this, it will become completely unresponsive and wont even power off. Ive restored it three times now and nothing works.  i feel really let down - i look after my phones and have always bought apple products. the 5c is the first apple product ive had so many issues with. To have a completely unusable phone after 4 months of getting it straight from Apple is a joke and to make things worse im out of my warranty. is there any way of fixing this or at least contacting apple to let them know whats
happened? the website just keeps redirecting me to various pages which are not helping at all.

    Hello woothie,
It sounds like your screen is behaving unexpectedly and is not displaying your content correctly. If you had been restoring from a backup, I would next test it out after having backed up and restored as new with this article:
How to erase your iOS device and then set it up as a new device or restore it from backups
If you had restored as new, or the issue persits, here is the number to call AppleCare directly:

  • IPhone 5 screen flickering at corners ...

I got my iPhone 5 a couple of months ago and there's this problem that sometimes I have noticed that the screen flickers at the corners of the screen . Generally bottom corners ! The phone has never been in Contact to water Nor it has been dropped on the floor. I dont know what has happened before contacting the service providers i wanted to ask here to see if anyone knows anything about it or if anyone has faced it before. So does anyone knows What could have happened ???

Have the same problem in Iphone 4S after IOS 7 upgrade and using Siri.
Try a switch off and reset but not work.

  • Iphone 6 screen flickering dark and light

my iPhone 6 screen keeps flickering dark and light, whats happening and how can i fix it?

The symptoms you describe could be those of a battery being completely drained. When this happens the device will shut down and not respond even after attempting to charge. The usual cure is to plug the device into the wall charger and let it charge for at least 30 minutes. Then reset the device. Press and hold both the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button continuously until the Apple logo appears. Then release the button and let the device restart. You will not lose data doing this. It's like a computer reboot. If the device restarts let it continue to charge until the battery is 100%. If the device does not restart make an appointment at an Apple Store to have your device examined by a technician. Or contact Apple Support.

  • Iphone 4 screen flickers

When i use my iphone 4 camera the screen flickers and changes to a thermal color.

For the battery issue I can suggest closing the facebook app in the multitasking bar as with its latest update it's constantly running things in the background. Since doing that on my phone i've practically doubled my battery life.
A flickering screen and broken power button is something I don't think you can do much about. You can set the phone to auto-lock after a set amount of time in the settings app (to bypass not being able to press the lock button) but to fix these issues you really do need to take it to a genius bar or other servicing provider.

  • IPhone 4 screen flickering then turning off and when i try to turn it back on it either works or I get a white or purple screen. When i turn it off it doesn't turn back one

Ok so this started around a week ago. I got home one afternoon put my phone down went back to it and pressed the home button and it seemed that it turned itself off so I tried turning back on, didn't work so I hooked it up to my laptop tried turning it on again it came on but I got a WHITE screen. So after that I decided to leave it for a bit I went to it after it started working fine...until 4 days later. I was on instagram and all of a sudden the screen starts flickering like crazy and then it turned itself off, I did what i did last time and just left it for a bit it came back on working fine. And then about 2 days ago I was listening to music and the screen froze then started flickering (getting quite annoyed at this stage) and then turned off, this time I tried turning it back on straight away only this time it worked. And that brings us to this morning, i was on facebook and about 5 minutes later it starts flickering and freezing once again and then turned itself off. So i hooked it up to my laptop I then got it to turn on for like 6 seconds then the screen started to dim and turned off. That brings us up to now about 10 minutes ago i tried turning it on, it turned on but I got a PURPLE screen and it just stayed like that until i turned it off. Does anybody have any idea what is going on? I think its the screen itself but i'm probably wrong. All help is appreciated.

I am also having the same problem.. Its too much annoying and its unfortunate nobody at apple support has anyclue of what is happening?
... This is happening almost most of the time keeping my phone down most of the times.

  • Iphone 3G Screen just went all white- can not restore to home screen

Has anyone had this issue? If so can someone give advice on what to do?
The phone still works(I answered a call by luck) but the screen is all white and I can't get it to restore...I can't see anything on the screen so not sure what to do??
    Help!

This just happened to a person in a chat room that I was in last night. Apparently, he read somewhere that if you slide your finger across where the "slide to unlock" slider should be (on the white screen), it can fix it. He did that, and it worked. Basically, you need to unlock it without being able to see the slider.
My iPhone is the original model, but I imagine that the slider is in the same position on screen, about a half inch up from the bottom of the display.

  • Iphone 6 screen spontaneously cracked all over on its own

    Hello,
I was sitting next to my iPhone 6 and the screen spontaneously cracked... it literally looks like someone took a hammer to my phone. Nothing dropped on it...i was literally sitting beside it and looked at it and the screen was shattered.
Has this happened to anyone? What should i do?

    Thanks for the reply Meg...
A micro fracture can cause the entire screen to shatter? It looks like someone took a hammer to the surrounding area of the home button...and it ran cracks all through the lower bottom with a crack running up all the way to the top...its crazy

  • My iphone 5 screen as lost all colour

my i phone 5  screen is showing and working normally except that it is only showing in black and white(no colour) i have gone to settings ; vision; checked invert colours and greyscale  no luck. can anyone help?

If you dutifully backed up the phone prior to the update, be it on the iCloud or on a computer, merely resync the data back in.
If you did not, you can now start contacting your friends/family/acquaintances, cause the data originally on the phone is GONE.

  • IPhone 5 screen is flickering randomly, the phone freezes and the screen turns black.

I bought an iPhone 5 in New York last December. Now I live in Bogotá, Colombia and I can't find an authorized service center because they said that only if I bought it from a local carrier they attend the warranty.
My iPhone 5 screen is flickering randomly, the phone freezes and the screen turns black… The only way to make it work is to reboot with Home and Lock buttons pressed at the same time. But in the process most of the times it flickers again, and again, and again. I couldn't find a reason to identify what could be causing the issue. Also sometimes when it freezes, some group applications get ungrouped, causing a big mess.
I already tried to restore the phone, remove the SIM, delete all applications with no luck.
    Any sugestion? Thanks!

    Was this phone ever jalbroken?
If restoring as new, without using a backup, didn't help, there is certainly a hardware problem that only replacement can fix.  Your warranty is void unless you return to the USA.  Short of that, finding a local independent iPhone repair center would be your only option
