Are you sure? I have other devices at home. The only way I can make them disappear on the tracking list is by turning off location or resetting to factory settings.
I just want to make sure I'm not tracking a phantom that I will never recover :-(

My iphone 4 got stolen two weeks ago. It was off because of down battery therefore i could not track it by app find my iphone but i immediately blocked it and report to police. The remote block of the iphone remained pending for one week (I learnt phone has to be on for such an action to be completed) and then I received email from app find my iphone that my phone was finally blocked. I check in app find my iphone to see if i could located and there the surprise! Instead of MY apple ID appears a new one! Does it mean somebody reset my iphone? What can I do knowing this apple ID? Please help! I forgot unfortunately location service has been disactivated.
Thank you for your reply, I checked the status of my apple id and nothing has changed. My iphone was off when it got stolen and short after I sent remote lock by find my iphone. Maybe somebody connected to itunes and tried to do a set up using his own apple id? I would like to understand what's goin on and if this apple id can lead us to the thieve! Hello, my Ipad was stolen about a week ago, I activated the "find my iPhone" app, however it says my Ipad is offline since the day it was stolen, does anyone know…:
1. Is there another way I can track its location, or more importantly have the information stored on my Ipad erased ASAP?
2. Taking into consideration I blocked the iPad using the find my iPhone app, is there anyway the iPad can be used? Can someone erase all the data, my itunes account, reset all settings etc.? before connecting online?
3. How can I recover my photos? I already signed in to icloud on my PC and I have no "Photo" icon, does this mean that they are lost?

If you activated Find My Phone before it was lost or stolen, you can track it only if Wi-Fi is enabled on the device. I have received an email saying that my Apple ID has been reset. This wasn't by me!! Does this mean that someone has accessed my account. Tried phoning Apple but they keep sending me emails saying that they have tried but I haven't answered. My number is correct.
Are you sure they say the password has been changed or that *if* you want to change it, then go to a web site and do it there. If the latter, just ignore the email. If the former (and I'm assuming the email is regarding a changed password, but it could mean the security questions have been changed), then using a computer's browser, try logging into icloud.com. If you can do that using the old password, then it's not clear what the email means.

Yes, the store didn't properly activate the card. With iOS 7, the devices have become more sensitive to the type of cable that is being used to charge the device. I have found that with my iPhone 4, once I upgraded to iOS 7, it became a little more sensitive to even my iPad charger. It doesn't always recognize it if I just plug it in, but if I slide it in slowly until I hear the charging tone, then I can push it the rest of the way in, and everything works as it should.
Any chance the cable is bent or frayed? How long have you had the device and cable? If it is under a year old, take it into the Apple Store (device and cable) so you can show them what is happening. They should replace your cable.

As i turned on my iphone 4s on and connected to a wireless internet a page opened from the app firewall ip and i usually choose all connections. so it got stuck i held the standy by button but it won't turn off. so i held the standyby and home buttons. when it opened all apps music and pics where not there. why? then i enterted photos and the loading logo appeared then the standyby appeared and i entered my password and everything in my iphone was there but thing were scattered and apps wheren't in folders everything was messed up but no photos or music AND IT SAYS UP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SCREEN EXIT SAFE MODE. so i restarted it again and it opened and nothing was there and again i entered photos and the samething happen again. why did this happen? and can i get my data back? and in the usage it says that these thing are there but not showing.

I have removed photostream from my Iphone 4...Does this mean the photos are also removed from other devices?
The iPhone has a closed file system and you would not be able to download files to it. There have also not been any identified virus/malware that can successfully get into the iPhone. You should be fine.

No. If you want an extended warranty you still must purchase it. It is not included with education pricing.

My mom updated her iPhone to iOS7, and now she has my contacts. Does this mean that she has access to all of my photos as well? How can she 'unlink' our phones? Or, is there anyway that I can get my stuff to disappear from her phone? We share iTunes account so I think we are both on the same iCloud.
Welcome to the Apple Community.
If you are using the same ID as a primary iCloud login, then yes she can see your photos in photostream if you have it enabled.
You can use the same ID for iTunes so you can share all your purchases, but you need different ID's for iCloud.
Unfortunately, the mess caused by sharing the ID, will need to be sorted manually, once you both have your own ID's. -

Here comes a "BUT" - imagine your kid playing game and getting to level 51 and have to start over from level one. Or imagine that history that you have in your CNN app. That is what icloud backup contains. My 500 scifi books are in one of the app backups and I REALLY do not want to lose it. That is what you would turn off. -

This means you are probably not running snow leopard as your profile shows.
What OS are you running?? Mavericks.. is the most likely as it has the most network bugs.

Does this mean my screen has been scratched?
I've had a screen protector on my ipad 2 since the moment I opened it. I've been using the Flick joystick to play Gangstar for awhile, and it's never had any side effects, like scratching.
Today, I was playing Aralon also using the Flick joystick, and after I was done, I noticed a few lines/scuff marks where the Flick was. Now I can see some discoloration in those spots. I don't really know how to describe it, it looks all rainbow-ish, similar to the way my TV screen looked when it got scratched. It's especially noticeable when I have a white background on.
Does this mean I've scratched the screen? I can't understand how it would have scratched considering I have a screen protector on and the Flick never scratched the screen before.
I've tried rubbing the spots with a microfiber cloth, but it's not helping. I also tried some LCD screen cleaner and that didn't help either.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.If there was oil/grease on the screen, shouldn't a microfiber cloth get it out? If not, how do I get it off?
