Why does my IPhone 4S not let me edit my email accounts or add a new account? In Settings> Mail.Contacts, Calendars I can't select these items.
Settings/General/Restrictions - enter the Restrictions passcode - Allow Changes to Accounts.

Your email provider has blocked the standard mail port 25 for sending emails and is requiring a different port. This is to avoid mail relays that use mail clients to send spam. You need to find the port that is used by your provider for sending outgoing mail. Then change the settings in your email account on your phone to match the port. You will also have to provide some security credentials for the account.
You can also try deleting the email account from your iphone, and the adding the email account back as this will many times set the correct port for sending emails.
You could also do a Google search on the the settings for your device with your email provider. That will provide you with the proper settings. -
Can someone please help. All calendar events have completely disappeared from my iphone. I tried troubleshooting. Made sure that in settings, the "mail/contacts/calendars", that under "sync" it was checked off "all events". But it was like that already. Nothing seems to be working. Are my events lost now? I'm stressing. Lol. Thank you.
Check settings > iCloud > calendars. Is it on or off?

I am unable to connect some apps to my ipad, it tells me to delete my account but when i try to delete my account it does nothing. I have no troubles deleting my account or connecting apps with my iphone?? Any suggestions, I have tried resetting all of the settings with no luck?
Just delete the app itself.
Hold down the Facebook app unil it giggles then tap the x then tap Delete
Press the Home button one time to stop the jiggling. -
I just upgraded to Lion 10.7.2 so I could use Icloud. However, I am having a problem with the calendar synching.(I am using an iphone). When I click on the ical at the bottom of my screen, it will not let me edit anything. It says I need administrator rights. When I go to the wwwicloud on the web, that calendar is synched. How can I sync and edit in my ical that came with the computer?

Logic will not let me edit Apple Loops in the Audio Window. Any ideas?
When I select a blue apple loop and put it in an audio track it works perfectly but when I go to the audio window it will not let me edit the Apple Loop. A window pops up and says "The requested action can not be performed because the edited file is an Apple Loop." In the manual it says that both green and blue Apple loops can be edited but every time I try to edit an Apple Loop that window pops up. It only does this for apple loops. What can I do.
Hi there, this is because you cannot edit apple loops, other than cutting blue loops witht he scissors. If you want to edit/alter loops bounce them down to audio files, then you can do pretty much anything..

For the 2nd day my iPhone 5 will not let me download updates for apps. I've tried selecting each to click off wait, and have selected new updates indvidually instead of all together. Also have shut the phone down and have even deleting the apps completely and re-downloaded but to no avail. Each app continues to sit on my screen with the line below as if it is about to download but never does, and now any apps I've tried to updated will not let me use them.
Oh my gosh I had the EXACT same problem, and for ages I couldn't figure out how to fix it until today. Here's what I did:
First I went onto my computer, opened itunes, and un-installed tumblr, vine and kik. These were the apps I was having problems with (it said I had them on my phone but, like you, they didn't show).
Then I went to the itunes store, searched for each one, and it said I could update them so I did (just FYI: for tumblr a window popped up saying "please click ok to confirm you are 17 years or older", so I did that also)
When I went back to my phone and tried installing them again (still on my computer), it worked!
I hope this helps, because it was incredibly frustrating. Good luck! -
My iPhone 5 will not let me delete emails. I trash them and they look like they are deleted and then they will load back in. I cannot open my Keep Safe app after the last update. It said I needed more storage so I upgraded and it still will not load. It opens for a second and then goes to home page. FB is hit or miss if it will open and when it does it is really slow. Any suggestions?

My iPad, Macbook and Apple TV are all set up with the same iCloud email address. I bought the iPhone 6 and accidentally set the iCloud up with a different email. My phone will not let me change the email address to be the same as my other devices, it tells me that email is already being used. How do I delete the iPhones iCloud account and reinstall it to match my other devices.
Yes it will, just sign out, then sign back in with the correct address.

It sounds like you are stuck at a screen asking you to accept the terms but the accept button is not there. I recommend restarting your phone, then try again:

My iPhone 4s will not let me text to my brother's phone number. It keeps giving the message "Error Invalid Number. Please re-send using a valid 10 digit mobile number or valid short code." I have rebooted my phone; same problem. I checked the number; it is correct with area code and 7-digit number. I have no trouble texting anyone else in my contact list. The number is not blocked.

That error message means that your email address is already associated with another Apple ID. It could be tied to GameCenter, iTunes Store, or another Apple ID.
