The toggle button is comepletely "grayed out" and useless. Apple's advise is that it is a hardware issue and since it out of warrant, they want $150 to fix it ! This hapened to my phone after I dwonloaded the iOS 6.0 platform. Before that, everything was fine !! I have tried EVERYTHING unde the sun to fix it from robooting, totally reseting the phone, letting the battery go completely dead, then recharging it EVERYTHING !! Can anyine help me please ?? It would be greatly appreciated from myself. Thank you and God bless.

Call toll free from the country you are in. You don't use up WiFi data.
You use up cellular data.
Under settings-cellular make sure global roaming is on (green) for calls and data.
But if still having an issue follow the instructions in the above link to the letter.

I have tried everything I can think of. I reset my phone, I reset my router. As far as I know nothing has changed but I think I did recently update my Iphone. Now what do I do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It used to connect and work fine, now i get nothing.
Reboot the router. Just unplug it for a few seconds. No settings get lost.

Or you could just turn your phone wifi on and then off. If that doesnt work, try switching it off and restarting. but those are not really guaranteed to work though. The link should help in the least anyway.

I just bought a used macbook pro, turned it on and it will not pick up wifi connection n my house that my old lap top has done very fast and easy wifi connection. What do i have to do to log on to internet with wifi with my macbook pro?
That could be the reason they were selling the old macBook Pro. Does the network utility even see any WIFI networks? If it doesn't, and you know they exist, something with the WIFI might have failed. Can you connect using the wired ethernet port?
You might have to take it to an Apple store or an AASP for a checkup. -
I have no cell service at my house, but when i leave it my iphone 5 will not pick up service unless i turn it off and back on????
