Sometimes when an iOS update is released there is a compatibility lag with certain features that requires an update to the vehicle. I would first check with your vehicle manufacture for any firmware updates. However, here is an article that has some helpful troubleshooting steps regarding car stereo connections and an iOS device.

Iphone 6 with IOS 8.0.2 bluetooth broken with RHB430N Radio in 2011 Ram 1500
I got my 64GB Iphone 6 just after release date, paired properly with my RHB430N radio in my 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 and worked great. When the new update of IOS came out 8.0.2, I installed that on my phone. Now the bluetooth is broken with my radio. It seems to pair ok from the radio side but I get a message that the phone cant see the uconnect radio during pairing. When I try and make a call, It wont work through voice activation, if I do get to work, the call stays active for about 5sec on the radio then it shuts off, the phone stays on making the call. Weird!
I tried a factory reset on the radio, as well as network reset on my iphone with no luck. My Iphone 4S i had previously paired and worked fine with IOS 7.1.2
anyone else with the issue? I noticed a few other people with different vehicle makes with the same issue after the 8.0.2 update and like I said it paired and worked fine with IOS 8.0 out of the box.
any fixes or work arounds available meantime?I got my 6 three days ago (fine device, by the way. Meg St Clair will be proud of me: I finally took the plunge, I who claimed that I would never buy another iPhone, but I'm dithering...), and so far, no issues, none whatsoever, when syncing my phone via USB.
WiFi syncing is another matter, though, because the phone simply doesn't appear in iTunes. I've checked all the right boxes, made sure the phone was set to accept WiFi syncing, to no avail.
I'll look into it this weekend, just in case I missed something.
But I can tell you this: all the content I had backed-up is now back on the phone, nothing's missing. I have a 2006 MacBook Pro running Snow Leppard. -

I couldn't find the edit button on my original post so I am posting an update here.
I have gone through more apps and have had good luck on all but one more. And it's not that the app doesn't work, I am talking about the Yahoo Weather app, It works fine, but when you swipe between cities the screen lags a bit and it sometimes doesn't move between pages the way it should. On iOS 7.1.2 it was smooth as butter but on iOS 8.0, not so much. I will post a note in the app store to let them know. I really like the Yahoo app better than the new stock app.
I have been going through my games and they all work fine. Angry Birds (Original and Stella), Canabalt, Minecraft, Bejeweled 2, Silly Walks, PopWords, Doodle Jump, Deep Green all seem to work just fine.
Starbucks app works as it should.
I will stop back again next week after I have had the weekend to play with it in detail and post my thoughts again. -

I live in Norway, and the phone has been either provided by a Norwegian carrier, or bought unlocked from the Norwegian Apple Store. You can check yourself by going to Settings-General-About-Model and type the model number (MC133KN in my case) here: http://iphonefrom.com/en/MC133KN But it`s unlocked, I placed a Lebara SIM in it and it works perfectly.
If it has been carrier-locked then most(if not all) Norwegian carriers are selling the phones on a 12 months subscription contract. When the 12 months are up, the phone is being unlocked by the carrier either automatically, or upon customer`s request(depends which carrier you use).
It`s good to hear that your 3GS works well with the iOS 6, still after having read about issues after upgrade I have a feel that the upgrade to iOS 6 may be a hit or miss.
I read on a forum that early iPhones can only support 3 major upgrades. Can that be true? -
My iPhone 4 with iOS 5, is stuck in the Facebook app and not able to do any operation.. Im not even able to go to Home. I connected to iTunes in my PC, it was not able to sync. I tried calling my number from other phone, but it went to voice mail.
Hold the Lock & Home buttons simultaneously for 10-15 seconds until the phone restarts and you see the Apple logo. You will not lose any data.

But it got stuck and now my itunes is displaying Error message: "there is no sim card installed in the iphone you are attempting to activate" and my iphone is without service. While i am trying to activate my ihone on wifi also it doesnt saying servers are temporary unavailable try after sometime. Kindly suggest

The iPhone 3G is Not Compatible with iOS 6...
It also appears that your phone may have been Hacked and / or Jailbroken...

3GS with ios 4 always lost wifi credentials
Upgrading iPhone 3GS to ios 4 was hard (recovery mode, reinstall iTunes and AMDS, using two computers) but did it and got all information back. I've internet access in 3G and with wifi; however everytime i try to connect wifi i have to select the network name and write the password. It doesn't kepp the network name nor the password.
I am having the same problem, after upgrading to OS4, my phone will not charge when it is turned off. I just leave it in the sleep mode. Hopefully Apple will come up with a fix.

I have solved my issue as well. For those who has not Find My Friends app in their devices should try this:
- Open Safari from iPhone and go to icloud.com
- Click (touch) Instal My Friends

My iPad and iPhone can no longer maintain wifi connectivity with time capsule. Time capsule has connectivity to internet via Macbook, but not other devices. This started after upgrade of devices to s/w 6.0. Does anyone know if that could impact connectivity?
Yes, this is often reported with iOS 6.. there are definitely more wireless problems.
I recommend you reset the TC in the following ways.
1. Change all names to SMB type.. ie short, no spaces and pure alphanumeric.. that includes the TC itself, wireless and hard disk. I recommend a different name for 5ghz so you can force clients to that band without auto voodoo affecting it.
2. Use WPA2 Personal security only.. 8-12 character pure alphanumeric passkey.
3. Lock the wireless channels.. particularly for 2.4ghz.. pick one of the channels, out of 1, 6, 11 as these are the only ones that do not overlap.. test each in turn for the best and most stable. TC should pick the best itself but that is voodoo and I am preferring to run the system without black arts. -

A bit of advice for you as a new user. Please refrain from making assumptions and using hyperbole. Both get in the way of providing useful support. Not "everyone" has tried the basics, let alone know what they are. That's why they're here. These first steps in troubleshooting often fix the issue being asked. It sounds a lot like your phone was hacked or jailbroken to unlock it prior to your trying to update it.
If that is the case, it is nowpermanently bricked.
