My iphone 5 calendar, synched from Outlook, doesn't display location

I have recently made the transition from Android to an iPhone 5. My iPhone calendar events are synching from Outlook, except that the location is not being shown. This is a serious shortcoming since this is the field that not only is used to show physical meeting/activity locations, but also in my world, the call-in information for teleconferences. I have actually had to pull off the road and do Internet searches for an address or ask someone else in a meeting with an Android or Blackberry to look up this information for me.
Am I missing a setting somewhere? If this is not an available feature, then can anyone recommend a suitable app that I can use that will provide this basic piece of information.
As much as I like the physical look and feel of my iPhone and the glass screen, I miss Android's standard back and menu buttons. Even as a geek and having used my phone for 2-3 months, I still find myself lost and frustrated about not having more control and easy navigational cues.

Are you syncing with Outlook, or with Exchange? I sync with Exchange and the location appears immediately under the name of the scheduled event.

I had the identical problem. I still don't know how to sync the tasks, but here's how I did the contacts and calendar:
1. Connect the 4s to the computer.
2. Open iTunes.
3. Click the iPhone box in the upper right corner.
4. Click on the info tab.
5. Hit the checkbox Sync Contacts with... and choose Outlook from the dropdown box.
6. Ditto for Calendars.
7. Hit Apply.
My problem was that originally, I wasn't getting the checkboxes. I turned off the iCloud settings on the 4s. That did the trick.

Sending a meeting invite from Exchange 2007 account located in Central Time from Outlook 2010 Email Client located in Eastern Time cause meeting to show up 1 hour early on iPhone.

The meeting invite is being sent from a Computer through the Outlook 2010 Email Client. Both Computer and Outlook 2010 are set to Eastern Time. The OWA (Outlook Web Access) for the 2007 account is set to Eastern Time. The Outlook 2010 Email Client is connected to an Exchange 2007 account and the Exchange server for the exchange 2007 account is located in Chicago (Central Time) and is set to Central Time. When the meeting invite is sent from the Outlook 2010 Client the recipient receives the invite on his/her iPhone(set and located in the Eastern Time Zone) and a mime-attachment.ics file is attached to the meeting invite email. There is no info displayed in the subject line or message body. If the iPhone user opens the attachment it displays the meeting date and time and any other info that was sent from Outlook. The Outlook 2010 user sets the meeting for 10:00am to 11:00am. when the meeting invite mime-attachment.ics file is opened on the iPhone the meeting is displayed as 9:00am to 10:00am. if the iPhone user adds the ics file to his/her calendar it adds a meeting event that is scheduled 1 hour earlier than it is supposed to be. I had the iPhone user to set Time Zone support on and off and there is no change.

Lync 2013 Clients prompting repeatedly for credentials for calendar data from outlook

Our Exchange server had crashed recently (nothing major) and a reboot of the CAS server resolved the issues. However since then all our domain computers with Lync 2013 clients are prompting for credentials for calendar data from outlook. We would but in
our domain credentials but it still asks. It would sometime ask once a day or sometimes repeatedly throughout the day.
I have look on the forums and tried fixes that included: editing IIS Autodiscover and ESW to use NTLM first , rebuilt lyncs cache in app data etc and none seems to resolve the issue. Any help would be appreciated.
Note: Our Lync 2013 environment is internal only. Only users on domain computers can access the service. We do use a proxy server here for internet but I do not believe Lync is going through the proxy since its internal to our network only. This is NOT happing
to our users with the Lync 2010 client.

Please update your Lync client with the latest version.

So sending invites from an exchange server account to a non-exchange server account apparently is a bug so to solve it, get on an exchange server I guess.

Can you access in on icloud.com and delete the event? If not, and force-quitting didn't help, try going to System Preferences>iCloud, uncheck Calendars, choose Delete from Mac when prompted (they will still be in iCloud), then restart your Mac and go back and check Calendars again.

I am not sure whether this is what you are looking ofr but you can set up groups in contacts using icloud.com
Log in to your cloud account on your computer and open contacts there.Click on the litte ribbon at the top that has the silhouettes of the people then the plust sign at the bottom and add the group and then it should sync to your phone if you have contacts on in settings/icloud. Once it is createed and you have added the poeple to the group then it should sync for you

Moving contacts and calendar entries from Outlook 2007 to iphone

Don't know what happended - after installing newest update today - I do not have any contacts or calendar information on my iphone. I have had no problems for the last two months - now nothing. How can I get my contacts and calendar information back to my iphone from outlook 2007?

In my case, I am sure that everything is set up properly. My calendar is still synching just fine, but I have NO contacts on my iPhone any longer. They are still in Outlook but just will not synch to my iPhone.
I have tried resetting the sync history, restoring the iPhone back to scratch, creating a new Outlook profile, and even trying to synch my Outlook contacts from a different user account on my PC. None of these things have worked. I was synching just fine until the update but not anymore, and I am starting to get really angry....

Issues with calendar invites from Outlook address that come to my gmail on iPhone

I have been trying for HOURS to get to the bottom of this iPhone calendar invite problem I'm having. I'll try to summarize.
I LOVE iCal and I want to continue using it. Though I have a personal mid-2010 Macbook Pro, I don't use it too much (my company functions solely on Windows). I almost exclusively use my iPhone 4S for calendar purposes. Yes, my calendar is synced up to iCloud. I have a gmail account as my primary apple ID and my mail account on the iPhone is synced with gmail. I've been very annoyed lately as I have been receiving a lot of calendar invites from a friend who has Outlook, and I cannot accept or decline when I received her invite. The events are added to my calendar, grayed out.
After much research, I realized that I had to setup my gmail account as an Exchange account on my iPhone, which I did. I then sent myself a test invite from Lotus Notes, and low and behold, I can now accept and decline!
..but I am VERY particular about my calendar organization, and I want to be able to choose which calendar the event is added to; however, it is added to my exchange (gmail) calendar, I guess because it was received on the gmail server. I want my calendar invites to be received on my ios device calendar! I don't know if having people use my .me account would help, but I don't want to tell everyone to change the email address to which they send me notifications, because I want to continue to receive mail at my gmail account (like the many calendars, I have many folders there and have everything set up the way I want it).
I get emails concerning work, events, tennis matches, etc via my gmail account, and I want to sort them to the correct calendar when the invite comes to my gmail while STILL maintaining the functionality to accept and decline invites.
Is this a crazy question?

MS Outlook 2003 and Iphone 2G calendar synching issues

I have just recently (after a very long IPhone download) am having synch issues. Some of my appointments are on the Iphone but not seen on Outlook. I read something about a com add in but when I tried to check this and add, my outlook didn't have this option. I am very aggravated!!!! I am in sales and have many appts during the day and now I am afraid I am going to forget one if i don't check both phone and outlook.. Please help!!!!

This is causing alot of problems no idea what percentage of windows users sync'ing with Outlook this is effecting but a lot of unhappy campers out there.

Apple although acknowledged the problem, now 2 weeks ago seem in no hurry to correct it, something to do with trying to sell MobileMe a cynic may say? Problem has mean't alot of businesses returning iphones, exchanging for Blackberries or just trying to revert back to their smartphones or ppc's.
This added to the problems of bluetooth handsfree kits not working with voicemail and 3G problems I suspect Apple are wishing they never released Firmware 2.0 and iTunes 7.7.
We are all hoping for a swift patch for this critical problem but then again we were doing that 2 weeks ago too... until then at least my XDA Orbit still works.
Repeating the appointment once so it is a reoccuring one day appointment has proved to work in the meantime - major pain though. I am testing Dionhall's fix at the moment, it sounds as if it is fixing the problem for most users. (See link above)
