My iphone 5 does not allow me to merge calls, is this normal??
I brought my iphone 5 in january of this year and ever since ive had it i havent been able to merge calls, is there somewhere in my settings that i can turn on for merging calls or should i be concerned and go visit the store?
WiFi has absolutely nothing to do with calls.
Contact your carrier if they support this feature and it's not working for you. Perhaps your line isn't provisioned properly for an iPhone.

My iPhone 5 pairs with my automobile except it does not allow me to "pickup" calls using the car facility. I've contacted Acura RDX 2013 about this problem. It referred me Apple for a fix. My iPhone 4 worked with the car technology. Is there a fix for the iPhone 5 to allow call pickup via the Acura?

Probably the problem it is because your iPhone 4 and your car have the same Bluetooth technology ( 2.1 ), but iPhone 5 has new Bluetooth technology ( 4.0 ).

What's wrong with my device? It does not allow me to make calls with Skype or Viber... Can someone help?
My device is a Blackberry Z30. Skype and Viber just to work fine. I had to travel abroad and turn off data services while traveling outside of the US but the applications worked just fine with Wi-Fi. Suddenly they stopped working to make calls. I can still send text messages, but when I try to do a voice or video call (in the case of skype), it only says "failed call" and when I try to call using Viber I get an error message that says the I can not use the application until I complete my GMS call which is ridiculous because I'm not using the phone other than trying to place my call through Viber. The interesting thing is that when I go the permission page in my security settings everything indicates that its on but is gray out and I do not have access to change any setting. The same in both applications. The rest of the applications are accessible to change settings. I already uninstalled skype and reinstalled it and still the same problem. I'm ready to back up everything and wipe out the device to original settings.

My email is not working properly, I can receive emails but I cannot send them. Every time I try to send an email an error message appear saying "The recipient was rejected by the server because it does not allow relaying". There used to be no problem with my email it has only come up recently. Also, my Internet works fine. I have tryed restoring my iPad to factory settings but it still doesn't work. Does anyone know how to fix it?
try to check the email id of the guy you are trying to send the email to as i had the same problem i had written yahoo.com when it was yahoo.in

When prompted, select option 1.
When complete, you will hear a confirmation message.
Force the Contacts, Messages, and Phone applications to close using the following steps:
Ensure that you have recently opened the Contacts, Messages, and Phone applications.
From the Home screen, double-click the Home button to display the recently used apps.
Tap and hold the icon for the Contacts application until a red minus appears.
Tap the red minus to close the app.
Repeat the previous step for the Messages and Phone applications.
Tap the Home screen to return.
Turn iPhone off and then back on -
Facetime verifies my Apple ID but does not allow me to make calls
I was having no problem using facetime on my Macbook Air until just today when I went to use it. It asks me for my Apple ID. Keychain then asks me twice for the Facetime password (once for Messaging Agent, the other for the actual App). Then it asks me to specify my email address and after clicking next it says "Verified" but I am unable to advance. The only option is to re-enter my Apple ID. When I quit and reopen the process repeats itself.
Any suggestions?

It's not clear exactly what you're trying to accomplish here. If you're wanting to set up SMS forwarding introduced in iOS 8, then please follow the directions below. Also, your Apple ID should be an email address.
To use Continuity for SMS and MMS with your iPhone and your Mac, iPad or iPod touch
Your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch need to use iOS 8.1, and your Mac needs to use OS X Yosemite.
Sign in to iMessage on your iPhone, your other iOS devices, and your Mac using the same Apple ID.
On your iPhone:
Go to Settings > Messages > Send & Receive > You Can Be Reached By, and add a check to both your phone number and email address.
Go to Messages > Text Message Forwarding, and enable the device(s) you would like to forward messages to.
Your Mac, iPad, or iPod touch will display a code. Enter this code on your iPhone to verify the SMS feature.

Java 6 updates 22 thru 24 does not allow ASP Remote Scripting calls
The Java 6 update 22 thru 24 all prevent ASP Remote Scripting from working correctly, causing applications using Remote Scripting via the standardized rs.htm code to fail. Your problem may be that the external drive has not been formatted for your MBA. Open Disk Utility>Erase and format it to Mac OS Extended (Journaled). Note that this will ERASE ALL DATA on that device.

TS1702 iphone apps not allowed
iphone does not allow download of apps. Says to delete videos and photos. Have no videos and very few phtos. Any suggestions?
It sounds like you are using a different computer than the one you last synced the phone to. The iPhone can only sync to one computer; if you try to sync to a different one all of your content will be deleted and replaced with content from the new computer.

I cannot send messages from Ipad "as recipient rejected by server as it does not allow relaying." . How fix this.
Go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Your Account > Account Name , tap on SMTP (under the 'Outgoing Mail Server' heading) and then tap on your Primary Server and enter your email account and password and see if things work.

IPhone 3G ** key does not allow me to access my land line voice mailbox...
OK, I have a great iPhone 3G issue for you. Here it is...
In order for me to retrieve my voice mail messages on my office land line, I have to call my office direct dial phone number. After that outgoing message begins to play, I have to press ** on my iphone keypad to prompt the voice mail phone system to let me know dial my extension number and password. On my old iphone 2G, it works fine. But with the new iphone, it does not. Another words, when I press **, it does not allow me to the part where I dial my extension number and password. It instead instructs me to dial my extension number and leave a message (not enter my password). Possibly the ** tones from the new phone are too short? Not sure? There are two other people at my company that are having the exact same issue on their 3G phones as well. I even went to the AT&T store and tested it on the display iphones there. Same problem...I was on the phone for an hour today with tech support. I spoke first to a tech support agent and next to an iPhone product specialist. Neither had heard of this issue, but I referred them to this thread and they now know it is an issue.
The product specialist tried to solve the problem and could not. He told me he was emailing the engineers to determine a workaround. He told me he would call me by Tuesday at the latest. His name is Richard and I will continue to update our progress in fixing this issue as I receive information.
If we can't access our land line corporate voicemail I don't see how I can keep the iPhone even though it otherwise works well and has many positive benefits over the Windows-based smartphone I was using (and may have to go back to). -
I have 2 email accounts which both worked perfectly well on my ipone 4 but since going over to iphone 5 my msn account will not allow me to reply to any emails. It places a message on my screen stating a copy has been placed in your Outbox. The recipient @.com was rejected by the server because it does not allow relaying. Any ideas on how I can sort this. Would it be worth deleting my MSN account ant putting re-inputting the details again?
Your email provider has blocked the standard mail port 25 for sending emails and is requiring a different port. This is to avoid mail relays that use mail clients to send spam. You need to find the port that is used by your provider for sending outgoing mail. Then change the settings in your email account on your phone to match the port. You will also have to provide some security credentials for the account.
You can also try deleting the email account from your iphone, and the adding the email account back as this will many times set the correct port for sending emails.
You could also do a Google search on the the settings for your device with your email provider. That will provide you with the proper settings.
