My Iphone 5 doesn't want to turn on !

My Iphone fell down, and then It started to dysfunction many times.
It didn't stop to turn off, and turn on, then return off...
And now It doesn't want to turn on.

hold down the home/sleep button together until you see the apple logo and then release, then wait for the phone to boot back up.
if that doesn't work take it to the apple store and bring some money with you an out of warranty iphone 5 is $269 U.S I believe.

Hi ,my iphone 4 does not want to turn on it went black and its off now i've charged it for 30 hours now but it does not want to turn on !
    Please help !
    Thank you .

HOld down the home button and the power button (The button on the top right of your device that powers it on and off) of the device for about 10-15 seconds and see if you see an apple appear; if not, attempt it two more times...if so you can let it go when you see hte apple.

  • IPhone 5 doesn't want to turn on...out of ideas and solutions

Last week I restored my iphone 5 and I also updated it, it worked normally but the only problem was that battery was dying pretty fast. After charging it I turned it off and after a day when I tried to turn it on again it just didn't want to do that. I thought that battery died, I tried to charge it but there was no signs of charging, I tried turning it on, even pressed home button and power button but nothing was appearing, it was completely dead. Earlier I took it to this store and tried to change the charger and also to check if it was the battery but even after that phone stayed dead. I don't know what could be the problem. I tried everything. I can't turn it on, power-home button is not working obviously, when I try to connect it to itunes it doesn't recognize it at all (like it is not even connected), I tried changing usb and battery and still nothing. Any ideas?

Connect the iPhone to the iPhone's USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.
After at least 30 minutes, if:
The home screen appears: The iPhone should be working. Update to the latest version of iOS if necessary. Continue charging it until it is completely charged and you see this battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen . Then unplug the phone from power. If it immediately turns off, seek service.

  • My iphone 4 doesn't want to turn back on!!!! what do i do??

what else can i do to turn it on??

I had the same problem..the battery had a full charge but it just shut off all by itself...I've been expericneing some latency in terms of performance and unresponsiveness when "unlocking" ... i any case I reset it by holding the ON/OFF button on top and simultaneously holding the home screen button for 10 seconds and it seems to have reset and turned back on however I don't know why this happened... hope it does not happen again? any ideas as to how to prevent this from happening again? Does anyone know if there is some kind of hardware or softwrae problem that needs to be addressed by apple?

  • What can I do if my iPhone 4 doesn't want to turn on anymore and I've tried everything

    Can any one help me?

Sounds like you need a new phone.  I'm not an employee of BestBuy but I just took my broke i4 to them.  I was eligible for the new i4s upgrade as opposed to fixing my diffuser and home button which in parts cost 70$ not including shipping.  Bestbuy credited me 141$ to trade my i4 for the new i4s which costs 200$ to upgrade.  I signed on two more years but my provider has been excellent so no issues. With the 141$ credit I paid 59$ for my new i4s and was grandfathered in so didn't have to upgrade to next Internet data usage plan. If you are eligible or don't know if you are bestbuy has a link to check when you are eligible for the low rate next generation phone. Sorry your phone ***** but love my new one.

    Try:
    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    - Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - Try another cable
    - Try on another computer
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Do a reset by holding the power and home button until the apple logo appears ignoring the slide to power off (no data loss).

  • My Macbook doesn't want 2 turn on anymore

2 months ago I bought a brand new macbook pro. Last saturday I turned my macbook on and typed my password and suddenly it turns off. So I thought that maybe it was the battery, but when i put the charger in my macbook, the light on the charger started 2 flash orange and green.
I thought I will let it charge for over an hour, but my macbook still doesn't want to turn on.
Someone know whats wrong? Or dit someone ever had this problem too?

Never heard of the plug-light flashing orange and green, but it sounds like an overheat and a fried battery to me. If it won't turn on then you will need to have it looked at by an Apple Tech regardless. Sorry for your inconvenience.

  • MacBook doesn't want to turn off or logout...

I have had my macbook for a few months now (since August) and every since I've updated to Leopard my macbook sometimes doesn't want to turn off or logout. When this happens a message pops up telling me that the finder was not able to close and that I should try force quitting it. But when I force quit it nothing really happens. The bar on top of the screen and icons on the desk top go away and never reappear and when I try the power button nothing happens and I am forced to unplug and take out the battery. If anyone could help me with this issue between now and tomorrow, I would be highly appreciative.

    Hi naroke!
When there are Finder related issues, often times the best (and easiest) fix is to re-install the operating system from the OS X 10.5 discs. You can try a few things before going to that point, though, so try these and it might fix the issue.
    1. Reset PRAM (http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=2238)
    2. Disk Utility / Repair Disk (http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=25751 / http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?path=DiskUtility/10.5/en/duh17.html)
The next option, might make sense to do an archive & install of the operating system.

  • TS3694 my iphone 3g doesn't want to make sync to the itunes

my iphone 3g doesn't want to sync to itunes?

I can think of lots of reasons why it might not be connecting, but since you don't give us any information at all other than the fact that you have a 3G, we can't even begin to guess...
iOS version? iTunes version? Windows or Mac? Operating System? Direct to USB? USB Hub?  I'll give you a quarter for a clue...

  • My Nokia N8, doesn't want to turn on bluetooth

Hey My N8 doesn't want to Turn On bluetooth, i bought it on mid-June, and it was working well but suddenly, didn't want to turn on Bluetooth i always have to Restart it, because when i go to Settings>Conectivity>Bluetooth then i select Turn on Bluetooth it freezes then i have to turn it off and on again then it will be able to Turn On Bluetooth, anyone please help please. Thanks in advance

It might be worth removing battery for 10 minutes and then replacing. Unfortunately with S40 devices there is not the scope for carrying out a "hard reset" as with S60 devices so your options are very limited here, as too old a device to allow you to re-install firmware with Nokia Software Updater.

I have an new iPhone 4. I want to upgrade this new device in 4.3.3... For the moment, iOs is on 4.3.1....It doesn't work... The message is:" this device isn't eligible". What's wrong?

    I use iTunes 10.3...

    Hey there Bianca Gabrielle,
It sounds like you are getting the error code 50 when trying to sync your phone. I would recommend this section specifically from the article named:
iTunes: Specific update-and-restore error messages and advanced troubleshooting
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ts3694#error50
    Error 13, 14, 35 and 50 (or -50)
These errors are typically resolved by performing one or more of the steps listed below:
Perform USB isolation troubleshooting, including trying a different USB port directly on the computer. See the advanced steps below for USB troubleshooting.
Put a USB 2.0 hub between the device and the computer.
Try a different Dock Connector or Lightning Connector to USB cable.
    Eliminate third-party security software conflicts.
There may be third-party software installed that modifies your default packet size in Windows by inserting one or more TcpWindowSize entries into your registry. An incorrectly set default packet size can cause this error. Contact the software manufacturer that installed the packet-size modification for assistance. Or, follow this article by Microsoft to reset the packet size back to the default for Windows:How to reset Internet Protocol (TCP/IP).
Connect your computer directly to your Internet source, bypassing any routers, hubs, or switches. You may need to restart your computer and modem to get online.
Try to restore from another known-good computer and network.

    All the best,
