My iPhone 5 fell down on the floor, than when I pick it up the most of the screen turns to different colors( lines or other stuff) , and when I touch the screen, it doesn't work anymore ,and I search how to fix it on google, but I follow the instructions
What can I just do now, how can I fix it

First, try to reset the device by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again. You will not lose data by resetting.
If this does not work, set it up as new device again, explained in this article:

If still no luck, get it serviced, the issue might not be software related.

How do I turn this off? I can't download anything until I put in the card's information. But the card doesn't work anymore, it ran out of money. It keeps saying that my last perchase was unseccessful or something. I just want this to stop so I can update and download apps! Please help!
My iMac with Snow Leopard 10.6.8 crahed b/c the HD cannot be repaired. I reinstalled Mac OS X and luckily have most documents and applications. I have moved them all into folders before I erase the HD. I had all my documents but lost the 3 applications for iWorks. It says go to the store, buy and enter your serial#. That is not working. Older suites, like MS Office 2004, use program versions written for Macs with PPC processors. In order to use those apps in pre-Lion OS's on an Intel-processor machine, it was necessary to install Rosetta, software designed just for the purpose of using PPC-apps on an Intel machine.
Unfortunately, Lion does not support Rosetta, so those apps no longer work.
Solution - update them to a version which will work in Lion, such as the MS Office 2008 suite, or newer if available. -

You may have to pack up the unit and take it to a 'specialist' if you are within a resonable proximity of an Apple Store with 'genius bar' calling ahead and plan the trip for when you could get an appointment, may be best. Or at least most cost-effective if they can help troubleshoot the issue and narrow it to one cause. Is the computer still under AppleCare coverage?
I'm not sure if there is a way to make an external display work via adapter by default when you can't use the main display to choose an external, but if you (or a genius at Store) could do that, troubleshooting the rest would be less difficult.
And get an estimate from more than one capable qualified repair facility if the first numbers you hear are scary... If the unit is old and out-of-warranty, other options to restore it are out there. Depending on where you live, the odds will vary.
I had fine results from 'wegenermedia.com' thousands of miles away, via mail, with portable Mac repairs. I've repaired & restored over 150 desktop Macs with hardware problems, but have no experience with newer portables or early tightly-packed iMac designs where getting good parts can be hard; since I am not in the business and have no budget... All that I repaired I donated to charity thrift stores in working order, free.
Hopefully can you get it working.

After internet disconnection, due to bad weather, safari can't find the server anymore and i have to restore the ipad to the factory settings and loose the apps. This has happened at least 5 times in 9 months. Solutions?
What Apple wants from his customers?
1) I've paid my iPhone 4S 900 euros;
2) I'm used to buy music and apps from iTunes store;
3) my iCloud space costs 32 euros per year
and, like me, millions of customers around the world!
and Apple does not allow me (and many others) to use the internet traffic for which I (we) pay my (our) provider, that's not among those that directly sell iPhone??? Is this your idea of a really unblocked device as you falsely declsre from the pages of Apple online store ?!? Shame on you!
If I had know that the 7.1 led to this I'd never updated my iPhone. No one (Apple and the sites that live because of her) told about this issue in their enthusiastic comments on the new, updated version, of iOS. Shame on you!
This would claim a class action against such a behaviour!

IPod Touch (1st gen) simply doesn't work anymore. Help?
Horrible day it's been. I wake up and unplug my iPod Touch from its charger. The iPod Touch says it is fully charged. I go to school for a few hours, and come back. My iPod Touch's battery is completely drained. It was completely off, and it drained. I ignore it and recharge my iPod. While charging, I try to access the internet, but Wi-Fi wouldn't work. So, as usual, I went to my settings. Instead of going to Settings > Wifi > and then selecting my connection, I was stopped. The Wifi subcatagory on the Settings catagory was greyed out.
It said "Wifi No Wifi." This never happened before. I go right next to my router, to see if it's my router's problem. Still no wifi. I turn on my laptop to see if there's wifi connection, and there is. It's the iPod's problem.
I go to the iPod Touch support page, and it gives me the 5 R's: Restart, Reset, Retry, Reinstall, Restore. I restart my iPod. No difference. Wifi still wouldn't work. I hook it up to my computer, and try to restore my iPod. It says there is a software problem. I reset my iPod. I'm not quite sure what it did, but somehow it fixed the software problem. So as I am restoring my iPod, it reinstalls the software, which took about 3 hours to download. When I come back to check up on my iPod, all the music and apps are erased. And worst of all, the Wifi still won't work.
I ignore it and figure that I would just have to live without Wifi and I'll just put my music back on. I rehook up my iPod Touch to my computer, and iTunes does not even recognize it as a device. All my iPod Touch does while hooked up to my computer is charge. So I restart my computer and replug in my iPod Touch. No difference.
So now I have an iPod which has no music, no videos, and no apps.
The iPod Touch is not able to even put on music, videos, or apps.
There is still no Wifi.
All it does is tell me the time.
And you know what? It's the wrong time. It's 2 minutes too early.
Now, I understand, my iPod Touch is out of warranty, and after a few years, electronic devices stop working. That's not the main reason I am upset.
The main reason I am upset is that my iPod Touch had a problem, and so I went to the website for instructions on what to do. The 5 steps it told me to do made the situation worse. The 5 steps it told me to do made my iPod Touch go from simply something with a poor battery and no wifi, to something with poor battery, no wifi, no music, no videos, and no apps.
If I were to bring this into an Apple store, would I be entitled to at least a discount on a new device?

I can't restore and make my ipad work. every time i start restoring it it gets stuck and error message (1603) pops on the screen.
Can anyone please help? Let me know what can I do to get it to work again.

Connect your computer directly to your Internet source, with no routers, hubs, or switches.

Hi all, my external hardrive is no longer being recognized on my Macbook pro after I tried to transfer some documents from another Macbook( that used the Lion operating system) to mine. i'm currently using the Mac OS X 10.6.8. Any suggestions on how to fix this?
I suspect the drive got disconnected, somehow, on that other system and corrupted the drive because of the Disconnection.
Connect it to your system and open Disk Utility and see if the drive is even being seen. If it is all the data on is more then likely lost and it will need to be repartitioned and or just erased and reformatted. -

This is a direct reply to http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/forum/1/594409 because I cannot answer to it. I selected "I have the same problem" among the checkboxes and it tells me "YOU MUST SPECIFY A POST SUBJECT". I tried all the checkboxes and the problem persists. I'm on IE6 because FF is out the window (read on) and to be honest, this entire domain loads ''poorly'' through here (no suprise, but guys, people come here to switch FROM 6.0, what are they going to do if they only see basic html unless they refresh twice per page?)

Exact same ''thing'' here. Today, suddenly and for no apparent reason FF and Opera crashed permanently at the same time. I could not start them, nor reinstall them, after reboot or in failsafe mode. Firefox installer v3.0.7 AND v3.6 both crash on 0% extracting process and die. I don't know what to do - my IE is a 6.0 version for design testing purposes - it doesn't even store cookies (and installing a newer IE just won't happen).

Thanks I'll look at that entry. Still I'd like to point out that this page clearly says that the timezone is to be set in rc.conf, which is a bit confusing. I must've followed this guide to get to my current configuration. I am dual booting with multiple other systems (xubuntu, win7, puppy, crunchbang) so from what I've read win7 might be the problem, but I haven't started it since i installed arch and my time has been off from the start.
Should I simply use NTP now that pacman is working again?
