It is likely that the device has unrepairable harm done to it having it washed in the washing machine. However, one thing that could be tried would be to have the device placed in a glad bag full of un-cooked rice and leave it there for 72 hours to see if this will absorb residual moisture showing up on the display glass. It could be assumed that if there is that much moisture showing it's unlikely attempting to draw out moisture will be sucessful.

Adobe Flash Player won't operate when I am using Mozilla. The window says that it is disabled. I have tried enabling it, but it doesn't do anything. Within the last few months I have gotten several snap shots of conversations from friends that showed it was my phone number but the conversation was not from me. It was someone using my information but texting frieda, family, and some co workers very obscene things. But the person was using completely juvenile context and I don't do that at all with my texts. The worst part was it began becoming such a huge issue when the cloned number or whatever was texting guys stuff and I wasn't the actual person texting. I got no responses to my phone but I had some very confused friends and even at one point my boyfriend got texts from my number when I was literally sitting next to him and my phone was on the coffee table. Anyone have any ideas on what I need to do. I have reset my phone, deleted everything off of it, reset passwords, I don't use location services but I am still having people getting crude messages. It's to the point now that my very own friends don't talk to me through text or my personal email because they don't know if it is truly me. Please help!

I'm trying to import photos from my iphoto library, but keep getting a message saying I cant import from 7.1.5, that I need to upgrade to 7.1.5 or later. But I have version 8.1.2. I don't know what to do. I've been able to import in the past.
Sounds like an issue with the iPhoto Library
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

My Mac mini time capsule is showing an error Time machine error, backup disk image "/volumes/data-1/.sparesbundle " already in use. I don;t know what this means, can someone help?
I had a similar problem and I solved it as follows -
In Time Machine - > I deselected time capsule Data Disk as a destination.
Then I pulled the power plug on the Time Capsule, twiddled my thumbs for 15 secs, plugged the power back in.
Went back t Time Machine -> Re-Added the Time Capsule Data Disk as destination. And then tested by selecting Backup Now.
All went well and the backup picked up from before the problem.
BTW - I also have a USB drive connected to Time Capsule that is an alternate disk for Time Machine to backup.
In Mountain Lion the GUI lets you add more than one Time Machine backup destinations very easily so I think it a good idea to have redundancy.

I'm sorry about your loss.
Are you trying to recover data from this iPad, or to set it up as new (erase everything on it, and simply use the iPad as if it were brand new as your new iPad)?
If the latter, you can place the iPad into recovery mode as shown here. You may have to try this several times:

I don't have any music, and I don't have that many apps. ***?Some of the apps that you do have are very likely corrupt. "Other" is normally about 1GB.
You should restore your iPhone using iTunes. Connect your iPhone to iTunes and choose "Restore" after syncing. You may first want to remove any suspicious apps (those that are not mainstream or popular that may not have their act in order). You can try restoring from a backup, but that may not fix the problem. If it does, great. If not, restore as new and manually sync your stuff back. -
My grandaughter has an IPAD and I have a Toshiba computer with Windows 7. My grandkids have moved away and I want to be able to see them by video but my daughter says that I have to download Apple and get facetime? FaceTime will not work on a Windows computer. But, I believe that SKYPE has an application that will run on the iPad. So, if you go to SKYPE.com you can see their offerings. You will need to create an account (there may be a fee) and you will need a web camera for your Toshiba ( a Logitech 5500 comes to mind, assuming it does not have one built in already).
Your grandkids will also need to set up a SKYPE account. After that, you should be able to video chat to your heart's content.

My iPhone 4S froze and was locked at the connect-to-iTune graphic screen when I attempted to upgrade the software to 5.1.1. It is now dead!
5.0.2 has not been released, thus you can not upgrade.

basically the title says it all...I've been using this for the longest time and now after i was syncing the ipod while downloading an update for Itunes the sad face ipod icon shows up and everything i try won't fix it. I'm wondering if anyone knows how they can help me fix it...please!
The Sad face icon is usually a very good indication of a hardware malfunction or failure usually with the iPod's Hard Drive, which would also explain the loud clicking noise you are hearing.
