Take the device to Apple for evaluation and likely replacement as there is obviously a hardware issue.
I'm always amazed that people will leave with malfunctioning devices.

Turned itself off, now won't turn on

Went to bed last night with the phone almost fully charged and switched on. Woke up this morning and it was turned off, if i turned it on it displayed 'nokia' and the white loading dots displayed, but then it switched off again. plugged it in and it now switches on, x terminal says battery level is 0, even though it was about 60 something last night. Anything that would happen that would drain the battery that much overnight? It was connected to wifi, but it always is and battery hasn't been an issue yet

Just to provide some more info, the battery level was basically 'stuck', so when it was charging i had to reboot for it to say it was 94%, then i had to reboot to find it fully charged. It now tells me when it's going down. So i tihnk when i charged it last night before going to bed it didn't really charge (maybe). I did take the battery out this morning, along with the memory card, but not for any lengthy period of time, perhaps one minute. Once i got it charging and switched on i hoped that was the end of it, though i am considering reflashing later.

The router might be bad or incompatible, but let's be optimistic.
On System Preferences, go to Network/Advanced/PPP. Only two items should be checked: Connect Automatically When Needed and Disconnect when switching user accounts. Uncheck everything else. Now, click Okay on the end of the page. The next time you're online, you shouldn't be disconnected.
If you still get disconnected like before, we might be dealing with a router issue - which can get rather complicated.

I have 2 of them that only connected for a day and then reset network settings and they connected again for a day now resetting network settings does not fix it either. My iphone used to work with my home network but after upgrading to the latest OS which is the same versions as the ipods it no longer works either. Acts the same as the ipods. I would suggest looking into a Thunderbolt to HDMI connector. In this case, you may be able to use the TV as an external monitor. For this option, please confirm through additional research. I have not tested it personally.
You can also use an Apple TV, which connects with HDMI. In this case, you can use Airplay Mirroring. Not all Macs support Airplay Mirroring, so you need to check first. I have a Mid-2011 27" iMac, and it supports Airplay Mirroring. I don't use it often because my TV is in another room, but I just tried it and it worked. Music album cover images and track titles show on iPhone 4s but music doesn't play - any ideas?

I am a Young at Heart Senior, new to iPhone 4s, have an old creaking pc with Windows XP Home.....but plan to enter the real world any day soon by buying a new Mac!
Here is my problem, I purchased an album on iTunes and mistakenly started to sync it to my phone, (although I don't have iCloud loaded on my pc). I stopped it mid download and later noticed that the total track numbers were showing as a red number above the "more" button as if they were waiting to complete the download. It stayed there while I thought about it for a few days, but when I click the Album button all the tracks are listed.
Now to the funny part.....when I click on a track or indeed any of them, it doesn't play a sound...but the progress bar above moves as if "now playing".
So, I thought.... no problem, I would connect the phone up to iTunes and delete the tracks....but when I do so, this album and none of it's track titles show in my music list for the phone......weird.
So, I have a large album with titles only on my phone, no music behind the titles (which, incidentally, is rubbish anyway) and I can't get rid of it off my phone, any of you young whizzy iPhoners have any ideas how to clear it off???
I did think I might just Restore my phone, but wondered whether downloading all my stuff from iCloud would still include the dreaded "Now That's What I Call Christmas" album, which I only purchased in late 2011 to play at a seniors Xmas party...........you live and learn!

If you have all your music on the cmputer then i would connect up my phone uncheck the Sync Music option and apply.
This should take all the music off your phone .Then you can resync the music back on to it.
If this doesn't work maybe a restore to factory settings and start from scratch is the way to go

The first thing to do is to make sure that your printer has the latest firmware. You can download the firmware updater from Brother:

Connect the iPod to its syncing computer. Let it charge for 1/2 hour . If iTunes sees the iPod restore it via iTunes
Next see if placing the iPod in recovery mode will make it visible in iTunes so you can restore the iPod. For recovery mode see:

Upgraded my iTunes to the latest version and upgraded my iPhone 3gs to IOS5. Unable to sync my iPhone with iTunes after upgrade and is getting stuck on Step1. I am running my iTunes on Windows Vista PC and have tried the solution of netsh winsock reset and still no luck.
Also, I am not able to see any of my music on the phone post upgrade, but it shows on iTunes. Again not sure on how to make it appear on my phone. Any help would be much appreciated!!

My MacBook pro is less then a year old and when I try to shut it down it gives me the blue screen and the loading spinner but the doesn't do anything or shut down. I've already tried to reinstall Mac os x but that didn't work any ideas?

Many Mac users don't. http://www.neooffice.org is a nice alternative, and so is http://docs.google.com/ as long as you don't have Exchange servers that aren't Mac OS X Mail compatible.

I brought a new ipad 2 4th generation and have tried to download music from icloud to it but it appears to download and then is not on the ipad. I have also tried to manually add music from iTunes but that doesn't work either? What is going wrong?

You are not using iTunes Match are you? If you are, you have to turn it off on the device before you sync with iTunes but I'm not sure how that impacts manually managing music in iTunes. I would also assume that if you use Match, the songs would download from the cloud by using Match on the device.

This is sort of a long shot, but it's easy to try and won't hurt anything. Close all the apps on the iPad in the recents tray and reboot the iPad, then try again. I saw this work for someone else a while back that couldn't download or sync music, but I think it was probably just a coincidence, but as I said, it will not hurt to try.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the recents tray will appear with all of your recent apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

Hi, I'm using a powerbook g4 with osx 10.4.9 with Ichat AV 3.1.8 with the apple isight web cam. I'm trying to connect with a family member who's using a logitech quickcam pro 4000 camera with updated logitech software on a pc with the latest Vista operating system. We're up and running with AIM and can send text messages but we can't communicate using the web cams. my family member and myself can get an image of ourselves with our own web cams, so the cameras are working, we just can't see each other. I'm also using an airport extreme, I don't know whether this makes any difference or not. My firewall is set to off. If any of you have any ideas on how to get this stuff up and running, I would apreciate your help. Thank you!

ON the PC they will still have to allow it though the Firewall
Hopefully the Vista Firewall has not changed too much from XP
