My iphone 5 is hacked

My iphone 5 has been hacked by someone i know, they have this software on their iphone 5 and can watch everything i do from their device. I would like to know if this kind of software is available or if this is made up and this person is accessing my phone through another way, I have also changed my icloud password incase they are using this. This person can also see my location all the time, reads messages, accesses all my apps and knows who ive spoke to everyday and if items get deleted on my iphone then this person can restore them on their device!
If this software is available I would like to know how to stop it because it is creepy and I feel i have no privacy and it is bothering me. Help....

I will need to back my phone up and then restore it and then hopefully it should be ok, i have changed my icloud password so if they are accessing my information through this way then it has changed.
I have no physical evidence that this is true as i have not seen it for my own eyes, however when this person has mentioned things such as who i have recieved text messages from, the content of mesages, calls, and personal app information, which they would have had to be able to access through their device as at the time they didnt have access to my phone so they would have had to hacked my phone somehow to possibly know what messages etc i have recieved.
Thats fine if my post has moved, more responses and help the better. I just feel like my privacy has been violated and i shouldnt be made to feel like this.

Send yourself a test message and see what the response time is.
Is your e-Mail system a push type or a poll type.
If it is a polling type, there will be a delay because there is a timed polling sequences (that you can control to a degree)
In Settings/Mail look for 'Fetch' to see how it is setup.

iPhones have not been hacked.
The people who got locked out of their devices had their info stolen from a different service(eBay, yahoo, etc).
They used a single password across all the services.
You have a software issue at best, at worst your hardware is dying.
Try a reset as mentioned above.

I have some weird things going on with my phone. Sometimes safari opens by itself and I play this game diamond dash which has purchases and it showed up that I purchased things. I have rationalized it to maybe i pressed purchase by accident but I am not sure anymore and so I think my phone is hacked. Any advice?

I dont think that your iphone is hacked. Update your ios device to the newest ios version which is 7.0.6. This update fixes some security bugs, thus making your phone more secure and less likely hackable. Hope I helped. Cheers

Y I suspect:
1) i use whatsapp and i saw a profile picture of a friend which he said he didn't put it..(i thought his might be hacked)
2) when i went through my photos i found pictures i have never taken and copied from any place....more over i was able to see someone else's whatsapp conversation which was screen shoted and kept as a photo
please let me know what i need to do as i had some business documents also on that thinking iphone is secured ;(

i recently reseted my phone to the factory settings deleted all the content and never copied anything back,since i was having an issue with my phone were it took lot of time to type in for messeges and even it was not responding to show the keypad....anyways i still have the issue of the keys getting stuck while typing......
now back to what you said please let me know how come the additional photos came into my photo library then??? i am sure no one has used my phone for the past 2 weeks, i refreshed it 2 weeks back...and its still in its factory condition from the day i bought all the apps are installed from the apple store too, more over i paid for the whats app application.

If your iPhone has not been jailbroken or out of your possession, it cannot be hacked.
Sounds more like a problem with the phone service, especially since it was a one time thing.

A Question on the iPhone SMS Hack

If your text messaging feature was blocked on your plan so like no messages you send or any one sends to you would go through. Would that SMS Hacking message go to your phone?

I got hacked last night. I deleted the text b/c I thought it was a wrong number. It was a foreign number and it did have strange spacing and symbols in it plus was written in bad English. Worse than my English anyways. Later that night my iPhone started playing music on its own. I thought I must of accidentally set it off some how. I turned off the music and went to bed. I had no idea I was being hacked. This guy probably has all my information. Anyways, I didn't think anything of it until I read about the SMS virus today. I've power cycled my phone and patched it but I'm not sure what I should do next, there is no telling what this guy got from my phone. I find it strange that my phone does this the night before the patch comes out.

Today I saw the following new note in my iPhone
Some ******* broke my phone today
followed by a couple of paras of rubbish about a soap opera (Ashley and Stacey)
Can anyone tell me what has happened (I guess it has been hacked ) and what the consequences might be
I have changed all my passwords but I had written a couple of them on some notes (yes dumb).

How embarrassing. My daughter told me that she wrote the message on my Notes.
On the positive side
I realized that my security was weak (as the passwords were on the notes and i wasnt using the google two step protection)

After I opened the adobe photoshop app my phone suddenly crashed. The home screen flashed then it locked as if i pressed the lock button. I didn't take serious attention to this because it had happened before... but this time when I pressed the home button to open it my normal lockscreen wallpaper wasn't there. It said "This iPhone has been hacked" and under it had a bunch 0's. maybe 6 or 7 of them. Now I'm not quite sure it said those exact words because I am so used to typing in my password so fast i do it without even thinking about it. After i realized the different wallpaper my phone was open. So I didn't get a perfect look at it. I noticed nothing wrong or different about it. I locked it and unlocked it... Nothing was different. I went back to the photoshop app and it worked fine. My phone isn't jailbroken or unlocked. So i don't know what could have caused this. Since then I noticed nothing different. I've never heard of anything like this before. Please let me know if this is a serious problem, thanks.

Iphone 5 hacked - about 30 emails sent out to what looks to be a phishing website - TELUS customer

Woke up to find out my iphone had sent out about 30 emails to contacts (not my full contact list - guessing maybe the last 30 contacts that have been either received/sent via email). This is a fairly new phone acquired from my provider TELUS sent directly from TELUS during the inital shipment of iphone 5's last year.

Yes I have a window's PC.....but it was powered off last night when the emails went out from my iphone....also when I checked this morning there were no outgoing emails in Outllook.......

Sounds like you're focusing too much on the possibility of malware on one of your machines. E-mail hacking these days is often done remotely, without any involvement from one of your computers. See:

As to the iPhone, unless you have jailbroken it, there is no malware that can affect it. So it is not a hacked or infected iPhone causing the problem. You can set your mind at ease in that regard.

Am I just being paranoid or is it possible my iPhone was hacked?

I have recieved strange SMS messages in the past, and researching things from the internet, I learned that these can be attempts to intrude on your device. These strange messages were from an email address that seemed to be comprised of random characters ([email protected] or something similar) and the text completely blank.
Also, I noticed that my Facetime app is open and running in the background at times when I haven't opened it myself and haven't recieved a call. I'm starting to get worried, is it possible that my phone has been hacked into? Note: I am using an iPhone 4 running iOS7.

Unless you have given someone access to your iPhone for at least 30 minutes so they would have time to jailbreak it you have not been hacked.
Facetime does not run in the background but it will appear in the recently used list.

IPad / iPhone mail hacked

Okay, here's what's happening.
No one except me is using my iPad or my iPhone. However, my iPad/iPhone contacts list has all received an email from me with a link to http://tiranaschool.org/p1aa8i.php
I haven't sent these things. No one has access to my iPad / iPhone. It cannot be via my email hosting because no contact email addresses are kept on there. I thought it could be something to do with one of my Macs which are connected via iCloud, but it is unlikely, I havent used the Mac for ages.
Short of some expert advice, I have to conclude that something remote, seems to have got into my iPhone/iPad mail and is sending stuff to my contacts list.
Any idea what can be done?

Chances are that your email was not hacked nor was your iPad. If I know your email address, I can set my email app on my computer to send out emails making it look like it came from you.
Just to be safe, you can changes your email password.

Lots of misinformation floating around:
1. You don't need to do anything to iTunes. You changed a property value that allowed iTunes to let you see the IPCC file and install it.
You can leave this, it is not hurting anything, just don't go looking to install IPCC files (iPhone Cell carrier file).
2. This is not making your iPhone unstable. AT&T will release this same file when they allow tethering.
3. If you want to get rid of it, you have 2 choices install an official AT&T carrier file (there is not one released for 3.0 yet), Or just restore your iPhone with Official 3.0 software but don't restore the backup. Set it up as new.
If your phone is unstable, you may have done other things - you don't say, so just set up as new.

Iphone email hacking

I am using an iPhone 5s, 16 GB, running IOS 8.2. In the last 2 weeks (and since I upgraded to IOS 8.2) my gmail account has been hacked twice. After the first time I logged on to gmail using my PC and deleted all of my on-line contacts. After that I was hacked again with mail sent to contacts that were NOT available through gmail (only on my iPhone). My friend purchased an iPhone 6, 32GB, IOS 8.2 last week and she had an email hack from her gmail account today. Never was hacked before she had the iPhone. Something strange is going on here and I can't help but suspect the iPhone. The mail headers include the following information: USER AGENT: iPhone Mail (11D257); Content-Type: multipart/alternative; boundary=Apple-Mail-1946E62E-894C-640A-DA51-C53067D29742. I'm feeling very uncomfortable about using mail on my iPhone at this point.

Also change your security questions too. If he knows those he can still get your passwords after they are reset. Also if you have other email accounts associated with the accounts, ie a password reset email different from the account you are trying to reset, you need to change those too. He may have his email set up there to receive the password reset messages. One other thing you can do is dump all of them and start over with new email accounts.
