I've tried that. It doesn't work. The only thing that happens is the apple comes up. I've tried holding the home as I'm plugging it in and keeping it held for a few minutes, but nothing happens. My iTunes doesn't even read that it's connected.

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

When I restart it seems okay and I see my main screen, but only for a second and then it goes black again.

You have a hardware problem and you should take it into a apple store to be looked at and fixed.

However, from your discription, I suspect that something is broken. Maybe a dead battery. In that case. I would make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store and see what they say.

I have a phone 3g and everytime I go to open facebook or bejewelled blitz it will not load. It crashes and then the screen goes black for a few seconds before going back to the home screen. My Macbook in the last 3 days when I turn on by power button or restart the screen stays black. If I get lucky by using cmd+ option+ shift+ power button it comes up. Any suggestion what is going on? If it's on I have not problems using my computer.

I just downloaded Firefox 4 and the "screen enlargement" feature on Mac's (where you spread your fingers apart on the mouse and the screen fonts get larger) is not working in this version. Is this feature not available in Firefox 4?

I use this feature to view smaller fonts / e-mails frequently so will downgrade back to Firefox 3.x if it doesn't work in 4. This is the same feature that you would use on an iPhone for instance to enlarge the screen view. Also, I am a running the very latest version of Mac OS 10.6.7 but it also didn't work on the prior version (10.6.6 I presume). Thanks for any help.
