My iPhone 5 is stuck on the temperature screen after I updated to IOS 8. What do I do!?
I updated my iPhone 5 to the new IOS 8. It is stuck on the temperature screen. I have reset and done and hard reset. I have no idea what to do at this point? Can my phone be saved?

You have already done some great troubleshooting on your own. The next step I would suggest would be restoring the iPhone. Please use the attached article to place the iPhone is a special status mode called recovery mode. Restore from recovery mode and test to see if the issue remains or is resolved.

Received an authorized unlock code from apple/AT&T for my off-contract 3GS (8GB). I got like the same problem, last days I get message to restore my iPhone, so I did it yesterday and it work very well. In the afternoon I saw that at top in the left corner show invaild sim card or so (only knew the german version). so I restore it again but now it won`t activate after I enter SIM-PIN and it accept it, it shows "No Service".
Anybody can help? My Carrier is o2 Germany.

My iphone is stuck on the itune screen. I have tried pushing the on/off and bottom buttons and the phone will turn off but come right back to the itune screen I also tried plugging my iphone into my computer and holding down the bottom button to see if i could get to the restore screen. Nothing, just the itune screen. Any ideas what to do to fix my phone?

I had the same situation with my iPod touch 5th gen. You can manually reboot it thru pressing sleep/wake button and holding it up to 10 secs - no data will be lost.. This didn't work in mine, but to some it did..
If it won't work, you could do what I did which is I reset all settings in the Reset part. It won't lose any data, just the settings (if you have just less settings did to the device, which I had). So just configure or tweak things again in the settings when it reset again.

Try resetting by holding the home button and sleep/wake button until it turns off ignoring the slide to power down. You probably won't see that if yours is stuck.

I "Erased all content and settings" and now my iTunes does not recognize my iPhone when I plug it in. Plus my iPhone is stuck with the apple symbol on it and wont do anything. what did I do? How do I get my phone to work again?
Reset, hold both Home and Power buttons until the iPhone begins to restart. Usually takes about 10 seconds time. If still problem. Open iTunes on computer. Connect iPhone to computer with USB Cable. Hold both Home and Power buttons until iTunes recognizes iPhone in Recovery Mode. Usually takes about 20 seconds of holding both buttons. Restore the Firmware.

It is not a widespread issue that requires apple to come out with a fix, I have many ipads that were updated and have no issues.
I would suggest you back-up and restore your device, that can repair many issues if the original update was corrupted. -
Ok so I use an hdmi connector on my iPhone 4S to watch netflix. But after I updated to iOS 7 it will not work my tv doesn't receive a signal. Does anyone have any insure to this please help .!.!.
The 8 pin Lightning connector can only output 720p and lacks all iPod Out functionality unlike the full iPod Out functionality and 1080p that the 30 pin connector has and I suspect that they are coding iOS 7 specifically for the new devices which have severely reduced abilities and perhaps skipping adding the code needed for 30 pin devices to use their functionality with HDMI, etc.

My iPhone 6 is stuck on the "Temperature" screen
Almost every time I use the Pandora application it heats up my iPhone 6 and drains the battery at about 1% a minute. This time I pulled it off the charger (attached to my desktop at work), closed out Pandora completely and turned my phone completely off so it could cool down. After it had cooled, I turned it back on and it went from the Apple logo to the "Temperature - iPhone needs to cool down before you can use it" screen. It has been 1 1/2 hours since I turned it off and it is still stuck on that screen.
Please, is there any way to fix this without losing everything? I don't back my phone up so I don't have any way to recover my things.
Thank you,So, I never got it to work. I couldn't get it to read on itunes, even to just restore it. I found that I could turn it completely off, hold the home button while plugging in the usb from the computer and it would connect to itunes just so I could restore it. I clicked restore and it said "Extracting Software" and then, after, the update bar on the iphone popped up but never loaded. Then an Error popped up on my laptop saying it could not restore the iPhone. So I have tried every avenue at this point. Now it's stuck on this screen, instead of the "Temperature" screen:
This pops up when I have the phone off, hold the Home button down and plug the USB in from the laptop.
My wife is going to try taking it in to Apple today to see if they have some in stock and can swap it out. Fingers crossed. This phone is brand new (got it in December) and is in great condition... at least on the exterior. -

Did you reset like this?... press the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.
In your case, it may take more than 15 secs of button holding, maybe as long as a minute.
