Hi there,

Battery life seems short
Click ( www.apple.com/batteries/iphone.html) for tips on how to prolong iPhone's battery life.
Try turning iPhone off and then on again.
Connect iPhone to iTunes and restore iPhone.
If the screen shows a low-battery image, the battery is low on power and needs to charge for up to ten minutes before you can use it.
When charging iPhone, make sure to leave it charging until it is fully charged. You'll know the battery is fully charged when the battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen looks like this .
Note: When charging using a computer, don't connect iPhone to a keyboard. Also, the computer must be turned on and not in sleep or standby mode. If iPhone is connected to a computer that's not turned on or is in sleep or standby mode, the iPhone battery may drain.
Note: Charging with a FireWire-based power source is not supported, except on original iPhone.

How can I transfer video taken with my iPhone to my iPad WITHOUT using a computer or iTunes? I'm going to Europe for a month and want to use my iPhone to take pics and video, then come back to the hotel room and use my iPad to edit/store each evening. I don't want to use my iPad to take the video...too large/bulky. And I WON'T have a computer with me...I purchased the iPad to take with me so I could use the RDC to my home computer and avoid taking my computer at all. Is this possible?

here is a cheaper solution than camera kit and a lot easier if you have WIFI available.
I use the PhotoSync APP (I think its a $1.99) will transfer videos and photos over WIFI to any other IOS device or even PC/MAC. Great app since I like doing video and photos on my IPHONE and transfer to IPAD2 without synching through computer or doing cloud based storage.
You can even send photos/videos from your MAC/PC to your IOS devices that way too. Makes it so much easier.

  • After Updating the iOS 7.04 on my iPhone 4s drain battery quickly on standby mode & also doesn't respond volume up button, why?

After Updating the iOS 7.04 on my iPhone 4S drain battery quickly even on standby mode & also doesn't respond volume up button, why?

My battery problem woes continues to persist.  Yesterday, I had about 85-90% battery life in the morning.  A couple hours later when I looked at the phone it was down to 65%.  At that point, I shut off wi-fi, bluetooth, and background app refresh.  I received one call shortly after that.  The call lasted about two minutes.  My battery was now down to 40%.  Another hour later, down to 16%!  Here's the kicker:  I plugged in the phone to a charger and it jumped to 65% in a matter of minutes.  I unplugged the phone and within a couple of hours it was back down to around 30%.  I plugged it in again and within 10 minutes it was up to 75%.
At first glance it looks very much like a hardware issue.  However, I never had this problem until I upgraded to 7.0.4.  Also, the above battery roller coaster ride isn't a constant.  That is, it seems that only sometimes this happens.  So...I'm thinking it's either an app running in the background eating up juice (though I have Background App Referesh turned off) or the iOS is buggy.

  • Moving music to iPhone manually on USB without using iMatch

I have over 10G of songs in my iTunes library. Once I've subscribed to iMatch, how do I transfer all my iTunes music from my MacBook to my iPhone without using iCloud, using USB or WIFI instead? I live in South Africa where bandwidth is expensive... Thanks

Plug your phone into your computer with the special cable with the USB connector on one end and the iPhone connector on the other.
I'll have to admit at this stage that I am not an expert at synching but that's the basics.  I think you will also, of course, need iTunes running (it will probably start when you plug in the synchable device) and the music you want transferred in a special playlist.

You could use iCloud, or you could sync them through iTunes on a Mac or a Windows computer.

  • IOS 6.1.2 for iPhone 4s draining battery?

I downloaded iOS 6.1.2 for my iPhone 4s a few days ago when my phone told me it was time to update. Now all I get is 17 minutes of usage and 6 hours of standby when I used to get at least 18 hours of standby and 6 hours of usage before my phone needed a charge. This is very frustrating. My phone is 8 months old. I don't use mail on it. I've seen some people have problems with mail being the reason why their battery drains. I lock my phone when I'm done using it, I have the brightness down, I go through and delete background activity every couple days. This shouldn't be happening. Does anyone else have this problem and has anything fixed it?

  • IPhone 4S draining battery faster than it's charging

So, I, like others, have had issues with my iPhone ever since upgrading to iPhone 6.1. I went to an Apple store, and because the connector dock was acting strange they said it might be a hardware issue. My phone basically bricked after that, and was dead for 2 days, but for some reason I kept it plugged in, and out of nowhere I had enough charge to restore it (via iTunes, using the restore method rather than a simple restore). After that it charged to 100%, just like normal.  I went back to the Apple store, they tested the battery and said it was running perfectly. I asked if I can start putting apps and stuff back on, they said yes, I did, and now it doesn't charge past 70%. I restored it once again, and now it won't charge past 65%.
Can I blame this on 6.1, 6.1.1, and 6.1.2? or is there something I should do that might fix this? I've used multiple cords and chargers.

    Hi guys,
Click «about this mac», in the apple menu, and then click «more info». This will open the system profiler window where you can see in more details the actual state of the battery, if you highlight it in the left column (probably under «power», I don't know because my system's in french, sorry). My remaining capacity at full charge is around 4900 mah (it was at 5200 when I first got the Macbook), and I'd say I get about 4,5 hours if I'm very careful. If your numbers are way under this (providing the number of charge cycles is reasonable), my guess is you have a bad battery. Good news is you're covered by AppleCare.

  • How do I sync iPhone and Mac contacts (without using icloud)?

    Hi,
The option to directly sync my iphone contacts with my Mac's seem to have disappeared from iTunes. Given that I haven't (and don't want to) upload my contacts to apple's icloud servers, how can I do a simple synchronization?
    Thanks,
    MIke

I believe it is. I'm not a Mac user, but if you were to search the forum, there have been a number of threads regarding Mavericks and syncing, so a search of those terms will more than likely yield results that discuss the server information. I remember reading information, but since it did not pertain to me, I did not retain enough.

  • How do I sync iPhone contacts to mac WITHOUT using the iCloud??

I don't trust the Cloud. Is there any other way?

You can't use iTunes to sync contacts and calendars in Mavericks.
That feature is reportedly returning in OS X 10.9.3 which is not out yet.

  • How to transfer songs from iphone to windows pc without using itunes

Have a iphone i want to transfer song files from iphone to a windows pc at work that does not have itunes and I cannot download itunes to the computer because it is a work computer.

There are several programs available that run on a PC that can do this, but they would need to be installed also. If you can't install iTunes it is doubtful that you could install any of these 3rd party programs.

  • How can i transfer foots from ipad/iphone to my mac, without using iphoto? is it possible to have the albums on the may too?

You can import photos/videos from the Camera Roll on both with iPhoto or with the Image Capture application on your Mac.

  • IPhone 3G S battery drain after iOS4 upgrade

Hello, my iPhone 3GS battary drains overnigjt without use. And if it is not connected to the electric outlet througout the day, the iPhone battary become DEAD.
Thank you, in advance, for all comments.
    Regards,

At first I thought iOS4 was draining my battery loads too, it just turned out I was playing around too much with the new features!
The next day was pretty much back to normal.
At the moment my usage screen says 4 hours and 39 minutes of usage, 13 hours and 12 minutes of standby and the battery has 13% left in it - this is about normal for me. I charge it at night and it usually lasts til I plug it back in when I go to bed, although 13% is pushing it fine today, I won't be retiring to bed for a few hours yet.
** looks around for usb cable **
