My iphone 5(not S) screen popped out, the whole screen and digitizer, will they replace this if i go to the apple store?

my iphone 5 screen has been cracked but i recently dropped my phone again and the whole screenpopped out. its still attached by a black cord but now the whole screen is just black and i cant use it at all. will the apple store replace my screen or will i have to get a whole new iphone?

You may need to buy an entirely new iPhone. Before when the screen was just cracked you could have got an out of warranty replacement for a fee but now the screen has popped out and will most likely be classed as catastrophic damage.

If your iPhone is not eligible for warranty service, you may wish to contact your carrier for other options.
So all you can do is take it into a Store and they will make the decision.

You can make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store. However, what you describe appears to be from abuse like dropping it which is not covered by the warranty.

If the screen popped out, then make an appointment at the Genius Bar at the nearest Apple Store. The device is still under warranty and unless this is user damage, they should replace it. However, Apple makes that call. I wouldn't worry about insurance unless Apple will not replace it.

If your phone is defective (aside from the accidental damage) Apple will fix or replace the phone. You saud you purchased the phone in January so it is still under warranty.

so my ipod touch's screen popped out just a little. I can see the white light underneath along the top of one side when its unlocked. It works perfectly though. But I want to get it replaced or covered somehow so it won't get worse. its within warranty so will they fix/replace it if I go to the iStore?

Yes it is done through iTunes. The iPhone will never show up in Finder as a device. Definitlely have it looked at. That could be a hardware deffect on the maker(apple) so there could be a definite replacement option.

If your phone was "serviced" by a non authorized entity, Apple will not touch your phone. You have voided your warranty (if any). And they will not offer you a out-of-warranty replacement.
