I bought the iphone5 on your online store on Nov24. 2013, Last year, I came back China. more ten days before, my iphone 5 's open-close-key did not work. I contact Apple's China, but they told me that they could not help me repair the problem, how to deal with ?
What is the "open-close" key? Do you mean the power button or the home button?

My dad has a brand new iMac. If he quits an app, this window closes, but the app won't finish shutting down, Force quitting does not work. Once another app is opened, it will not close either. For starters, have him open Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, select the volume (the indented listing) and Verify Disk. If it reports any problems, have him try a Safe Boot by holding the Shift key at startup. This boot will take much longer than usual. It's checking and trying to repair the drive directory, if possible. Once in Safe Boot, have him repair Permissions.

Also, have him try a PRAM Reset. At the startup chime, hold down CMD-Option-P-R together, listen for two more chimes, total three, then let go to finish booting.
Also, is he running any AV? If so, have him uninstall it. It might be responsible for this behavior. (There are no viruses for OS X.) -
I have tried everything that I know to uninstall the new version of Firefox. I also installed Aurora beta and it had the same behavior and I was able to uninstall that. I cannot open a ff browser to work on it using much of your support information. I click on icon but it does not start on the desktop but task manager shows it as running. I have to end task in task manager to close it. I can't uninstall it and have tried system restore but that also doesn't work because of another issue with my antivirus program.

Script that worked in CS does not work in CS4 - multiple open page, print , pdf export and close
I had a script that worked great for me in Indesign CS. But now does not work in CS4. Anyone knows what needs to be done to make it work again ?
When I drop folder with indesign files on top of this script:
1. opens first page
2. turns specific layer on
3. prints using preset
4. exports using preset
5. close without saving
6. next page

First thing I noticed is the interaction level is set off. If you comment out this line
set user interaction level to never interact
you might be able to pinpoint the exact error -- ID will display a standard "failed" dialog, hopefully showing the line that it fails on.
A quick question: the script assumes two presets in your InDesign: one for print ("letter size") and one for PDFs ("pdf preset name"):

Since updating iPhoto it has ceased to open. I have tried to Hold down the Command and Option keys on the keyboard which is the suggested solution to then open a suggested solution to rebuild the library, but it does not work. iPhoto still does not open. can someone please help?

2 - delete iPhoto's cache folder(s):

3 - reboot, launch iPhoto and try again.

Firefox automatically loaded a new version recently. The new version does not shut down when I close the browser it continues running in the background. In addition it opens Adobe Reader for a brief time and then that closes. Everything worked fine before this new version.

Google search does not work. It does not bring back any results and disables my internet connection. I have to close the browser, wait, and then open it again. It only seems to happen when I am signed into my Google account. If I am signed out the search functions properly.

Thanks for the reply. I never get the option to "Restore Previous History" from History. I don't even have the box checked that asks to delete the history when Firefox closes. I don't know what's wrong, no matter what, I always lose everything. I have the box marked "Show my windows and tabs from last time" for when I open Firefox, but it never shows that, just my homepage. Also, when I check my History, it only shows the pages that I opened since I started Firefox, nothing from before. Even if I were to open up 10 pages now, close Firefox, and open it, the history would only show the homepage that opened this time, not any of the 10 pages that I opened 5 minutes ago.

How do I close programs with IOS 7? The old way of closing programs by double tapping on the button, holding down an icon until it started shaking and a red X appears does not work. Every program I opened appears. Turning on and off the phone does nopt work.
I just found out. Above the icon is a copy of the open page of the program(s). You slide the pages up to close.

Hey there just a short update I recently read an article on the community's webpage about sometimes asking cause your new download apps can cause some problems with calendars I had recently downloaded a weather app called AccuWeather for life version 2.1.2. I decided to remove this app from my iPad then proceeded to close my iCloud connection to calendars restarted and found that my calendars now open up except I had no information of course from my calendar appointments I proceeded then to reopen under link to iCloud and it now works. Have noticed that that the AccuWeather app had put on some weather notices for a couple of weeks in the month of November for some strange reason so I will now delete all of those temperature warnings on calendar and retry installing the weather app again to see what happens, will update this forum later.
It is possible that your security software (firewall, anti-virus) blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full, unrestricted, access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.
