You need to do more research before you make purchases like this. You've wasted your money. The ONLY officially unlocked iPhone model sold in the US is the GSM model, and that model is only sold by Apple. That's the model iPhone you should have purchased.
Did you read & understand my initial post? Especially this part:
The unlocking of the GSM portion is just for International travel in order to use local sims. You still have to pay Sprint for the use of their international GSM partner’s network on a “pay as you go basis”. -
I dropped by iPhone 4S two days after buying it, and would therefore like to get the damaged screen repaired at the authorized service center.
I took it to Etisalat (the carrier where I bought it) and explained clearly that I am aware that this kind of damage is not covered by warranty, and that I will pay for the repairs.
They took the device, two weeks later it was returned un-fixed with a message saying "Physical damage is not covered by warranty".
I resubmited the device, this time writing "Please quote for replacing the damage screen at my own expense. I am FULLY aware this is not covered by warranty".
Two weeks later...<drum-roll> the phone is back un-fixed with a message saying "Screen physically broken, not covered by warranty"
So if anyone reading this has any suggestion on where / how to get this phone repaired without voiding the warranty please let me know. Clearly the carrier (or their service center Technocare) are clueless.

The pages you suggested point to the local carriers as the only authorized service centers.
The problem with Etisalat is that they outsourced that service to another company called Technocare.
That company sent the phone back twice (for the reasons mentioned above) and suggested that I have it fixed at a third party, which I am refusing to do since that will void my warranty. Additionally, they are refusing to give me any thing in writing to that affect. -
My phone is carrier locked with telenor sweden and telenor is ready to unlock but payment must be paid through swedish credit card , that i dont have so what i can do to unlock , i m ready to pay for carrier unlock what can i do? I had a conversation through mail to telnor support , i got reply that only swedish credit card, no abroad credit card.
yes, when you bought the code, telenor tell you wait a few days, they offer to apple and unlock for your iphone, after a few days, you can check in the web, your imei Unlocked and you must restore your iphone with iturn, and conratulation your phone has been unlocked...

i updated itunes 11.1 yesterday and now im trying to get my music on itunes to sync onto my iphone 4s but when i connect it through usb...Itunes is saying " waiting for changes to be applied"? so i dont know what to do cause i just want to sync my music from itunes to my iphone 4s
I had the same problem and the fix was so easy that I felt a little silly after spending 2 hours with an Apple Technician. At the end of it all, what I had to do was make sure ALL music was deleted from my iPhone 5 by going into usage and clearing out the music folder. All I had to do then was turn my phone off and turn it back on again. I had not done this after my phone upgraded to the new 7.0 IOS. What's the first thing you do when experiencing computer problems? Reboot! It fixed my problem and now my iPhone 5 synchs perfectly when I had it connected to my computer. I am also on iTunes version 11.1.

Somehow my wife has ended up with some of my apps on her iPhone, and I have some of her apps on my iPhone. So, when I update apps on my phone, some of them ask me for her apple ID password. How do I get her apps off my phone.
Do you guys use the same computer with itunes on it? And the best way to get them off is to go into the Setting>Itunes & App Store and sign out of her appleid if it's listed there. Also just delete all of the apps from her appleid off your phone.

Eject the device.
Close and relaunch iTunes.
If the problem continues, restart the computer and the device. -

I have 2 iphones,one with a sim card installed and one without.Before I upgraded to ios 8 I received Imessages on both,however this is no longer possible because it asks me for a code for forward text messaging that I am unable to get.I HAVE THE SAME APPLE ID ON BOTH.Can this be fixed?

Apple IDs use a email address and a password you create for that email address on Apples website.
There should be a link on whatever page you are on to Create an Apple ID. Click that link.
Or just open App Store from the link on you Dock then Find the link to create an Apple ID.
Absolutely not. You can create a blank password. Yes it's stupid. Yes it's unsafe. But from helping people with their Macs, I find most do not set up a password. <facepalm> -

thanksThe Gray Apple appears only when it has been loaded from the boot device. Its failure to appear suggests the Boot device may be the problem.

When I tried to download it onto my iPad it doesn't show up in my downloads. So I found the book and clicked to buy it again as I have seen this happen with apps before. I clicked buy and it gave me a message. You have already purchased this book but it isn't available for redownload do you want to purchase this book again?
This is frustrating to me because had I known this I would have never purchased it on my iPhone. I always read off my iPad.
Also if this is the case why doesn't it say somewhere. ALERT. This is a one download only book!

If you have a 3G you cannot update beyond iOS 4.2.1. The 3G is over 4 years old an was discontinued over 2 1/2 years ago. You need the latest ios to run the latest versions of some apps. If you have a 3GS you can update.
If your phone is not responding, reset it by pressing and holding down both the home button ad lock/ sleep button simultaneously until the Apple logo appears.
