A malfunctioning sleep/wake button is the prelude to catastrophic device failure and loss of data.
Very shortly, the user will need to reset and/or restore but will find that these actions are impossible without a working sleep/wake button. Get the iPhone serviced or replaced ASAP.

I have tried every possible thing and really very frustrated with this iphone of mine...I hope the problem gets solved.. would anyone have any solutions to this problem.. Does it mean one should never update software as I hear that after updating to IOS.5.1 the problem has started coming and same has been with there.... Apple says its a hardware failure which is very difficult to digest as sometimes I get 5 bars and able to make and receive calls but 95% of the time I am unable to. If anyone has any solution I will be very happy if he or share can share the same. Many thanks. its so disgusting to experience this on top of this apple does not support global warranty for the phone as you need to go to the country from where you bought the phone for replacement.. Truly sad state of affairs.. very very very dissappointing.

Purchases from the App Store do not include serial numbers. The App Store itself provides the licensing for the product. You will have to contact Apple to have them help you reinstall Lightroom through the App store (just because it is no longer for sale does not mean that you will not be able to download your past purchases).

It really isn't necessary to yell at me. I've done nothing wrong to you have have treated you with respect. Something you are not doing with me.
I suggest you check the manual, http://manuals.info.apple.com/en_US/iphone_user_guide.pdf to see if it requires wifi for this to work. You might also want to try a reset on your device. It will have no affect on your data. Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. After the phone restarts, see if this will cause the content to download. You also have the option to go to iTunes Store>More>Purchased and you can select the purchases and download them.

I'm not aware of a difference between SIM free and unlocked.
If the iPhone 6 is available for sale as unlocked at an Apple retail store in Japan, an unlocked iPhone can be used with any carrier's SIM card.

Take the iPhone back to the country of origin or mail it to someone you know there and have them take it in for service.

Also, what are the source of your contacts? are they created on the phone, or you synced from yahoo/hotmail etc.
If thats the case, the circular arrow wont be visible but instead show "groups"
Contacts from different accounts are not synced to iCloud.

Sorry, but audiobooks cannot be downloaded more than once without charge, so if you don't have a viable backup, you may be out of luck. You can, however, contact the iTunes Store, explain the situation, and see if they can make an exception for you.

Do you mean that it is carrier locked?
You would have to contact the carrier to which it is locked and see if they offer unlocking and if you qualify.

I have not had a computer for several years and I just got a new one. My old computer got a virus and when that happened all my music was lost. Thank goodness I had it all on my Ipod Nano 2nd GEN. They don't have the music on their computer so they cannot transfer the iTunes folder, from the computer to their iPod and then to the new computer. And if they try to enable disk use on the iPod it will erase all the music that is on it. The method you cited is moving the files in a data format using the iPod as a flash drive. It doesn't work if they are in music format. That is why I suggested Yamipod.
