My iPhone 5 will not delete photos

My fiance's iPhone 5 has an album that is taking up a lot of space on the phone and the phone will not give me the option to delete any of the pictures on it. I can select each photo in the album, but the trash can icon does not show. The only 2 options I get is to Send or to Add To. All the photos on our PC with Windows 7 installed, so we are okay with deleting them from the phone. Any suggestions are very appreciated. Thanks in advance.

When I connect the phone to iTunes I have the Photos "tab" blank. There is nothing there to select. Under options on the Summary tab, there is no Photos or Pictures option. That would have been my first option, but sadly I cannot figure this out.

Photo albums are not searched by Spotlight Search. Go to Settings > General > Spotlight Search to see and reorder the available search items.

When you said you went to Settings and everything seems good. Does that mean the MMS was turned on? If so, and this is only being experienced when dealing with SMS/MMS, then you should contact your carrier to have them check to make sure your account is provisioned for MMS, and that everything is alright with your account. SMS/MMS is a carrier function.

Ios 7.0.3 will not delete photos

I'm unable to delete photos on my iphone5 with ios7.0.3 the latest release of this poorly designed interface.
The trash can stays grayed out regardless of what i do

It looks as though I MAY have found a solution after playing with this since last night ... Let me know if it works for you!
I went through and deleted a few random songs through iTunes on the "On This iPhone" tab ... they still showed on my iPhone but not in the Music part on iTunes. I then clicked sync at the bottom next to the memory bar on iTunes and it seemed to have removed the songs from my iPhone.
However, my iPhone is saying I have 1 more song than my iTunes is saying which I still don't understand but if I can still manually manage my music I guess it's a small price to pay for the minor confusion.
Really getting tired of becoming a detective just to work my phone appropriately. Apple should really stop making all these changes and stick to what the customers know and like. Frustrated and annoyed customers won't raise their sales...

TS2755 My iPhone 4S will not delete messages

When attempting to delete messages my phone will not let me... When I hit "edit" then click on the "-" tab .. The "delete" tab will appear for a second then disappear... Not giving me time to delete the message... How can thus be fixed ?

Swipe message right to left delete or archive box should come up. If you want to mass delete try watching http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fKa-KFjUIGE If messages are on a server like gmail or yahoomail you may have to go there and delete or the messages will come back.

IPhoto 9.6 sees iPhone, but will not load photos

I upgraded to Yosemite and iPhoto would not work. I threw that away and downloaded it again and it started up okay. Moving forward, I hooked up my iPhone 6 and it has been an hour or more now saying it is 'loading,' but clearly, that doesn't seem likely.
Ideas, fixes? Do I need to trash iPhoto yet again and download it?

As a test launch iPhoto with the Option key held down and create a new, test library. Connect the iPhone and try to Import the photos to see if the same problem persists. Does it? Don't have iPhoto delete the photos from the camera.

I went into Settings > Mail > 'my account' > advanced > deleted mailbox > Trash (On My iPhone) ... it appears to delete a few items only ... I may try to individually delete 30 items and only 4 go ? help please ...

I have the same problem and there is no advanced option. Was this removed in the upgrade to ios 5? I have been chasing a solution to this and the fact I have various duplicate emails appearing in my work account for days now! It seems like I may have to delete my account and re-install. This appears to be a common problem, where is Apple's fix for it?

im not so worried about my music because most of it has been purchased from itunes so i just redownlowded them to this computer. but i cant get my pictures or apps or anything else synced from my phone to my computer. my computer is a sony windows 8. and my phone is a iphne 3g. im upgrading my phone soon so i would like to get the photos backed up!

IPhone 4 will not sync photo's

Hello, I am wondering if someone can help me.
I broke my original IPhone 4, and had it replaced last Monday from the Apply Store.
I have set my phone to the replacement phone, but for some reason, part way through syncing my music playlists, and photo's it seems to crash.
I have checked the latest software on both laptop & phone, and both are up to date, is there something that i am missing, or is it a bug in the current program?

Thank you so much for replying, I deleted the folder you mentioned, it synced, which is further than it got before, but when optimising the pictures it crashed again :(
Any further ideas?

Every time I delete a voicemial on my iphone it comes right back... even if I dial my number directly and bypass the visual voicemail

Same issue here. Spent 40 minutes with AppleCare rep. He trouble shot, and said it's not on Apple side. He then connected me directly to AT&T to hand off my call, claiming issue must be with AT&T voicemail. An hour on and off hold enduring AT&Ts incompetence was all I could stand before hanging up on them. Invested almost two hours, with no solution. Is you carrier AT&T too?

Ever since updating to the new ios 7.0.4 my Iphone 4s will not synchronize photos from itunes. Only feasibility to fix seems a complete reinstallation. any other ideas?

As mentioned in the caption i am encountering these problems. only solution so far was a complete restart after having reset the iphone. but this can't truly be the solution for apple, or can it?

my ipnone 4 suddenly won't send photos in a txt msg. I've tried rebooting but no luck. It worked fine the other day.

Reset network settings in Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings.
Sometimes something hinky goes on with the cell coverage, and that's one way to try to fix it.
