My iphone 5 will not let me delete emails and open up certain apps like Keep safe and kicks me out of different apps

My iPhone 5 will not let me delete emails. I trash them and they look like they are deleted and then they will load back in. I cannot open my Keep Safe app after the last update. It said I needed more storage so I upgraded and it still will not load. It opens for a second and then goes to home page. FB is hit or miss if it will open and when it does it is really slow. Any suggestions?

Oh my gosh I had the EXACT same problem, and for ages I couldn't figure out how to fix it until today. Here's what I did:
First I went onto my computer, opened itunes, and un-installed tumblr, vine and kik. These were the apps I was having problems with (it said I had them on my phone but, like you, they didn't show).
Then I went to the itunes store, searched for each one, and it said I could update them so I did (just FYI: for tumblr a window popped up saying "please click ok to confirm you are 17 years or older", so I did that also)
When I went back to my phone and tried installing them again (still on my computer), it worked!

There are no pictures on your itunes account.
Do you mean pics that are on your iphone?
Delete them the same way you put them there. The sync process.
Open itunes, connect iphone, go to photo tab, select what you want, sync.

Are you checking in the right place?
Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > select the account > Delete Account
If the Mail accounts are greyed out, temporarily disable your Restrictions:
Settings > General > Restrictions

If you don't want to do this, then you will have to live with those sync pics on yoru phone.

I have never heard of it before that you can transfer photos via USB. The only way it might work is that connect you iphone with your PC using USB cable, go to my computer, click on your iphone icon, select the pictures you want to delete, and delete them by hitting a delete key. Try it, it might work. Let me know if it doesn't then I will try to find another way.

Check Settings>General>Restrictions to be sure that Deleting Apps is set to On.

IPhone will not let me delete old iCloud account

I've just upgraded to a 5S, with iOS7, and the system is phone is picking up a now defunct iCloud account I used to have. It's no longer recognising the password, and as I no longer have the email address, it also won't send me any reset details.
I try to delete the account from the iPhone, but the find my iPhone function requires a password to switch it off before it can delete - again with the old iCloud account.
I am going around in circles and it's doing my head in. Any help appreciated.

Go to appleid.apple.com and manage your account.
Add the old email as primary and save. No need to verify it
Now add the new email as primary and save it. This time you should verify it.
You should now be able to delete your account from your phone.

You most likely did not change the password in the outgoing mail server section of your email account.
Go to Settings > Mail, Contact, Calendars > your email account > Advanced > Outgoing Mail Server
Re enter the correct user name and password in the outgoing Mail server section even though it may say that these are optional.

If you are trying to delete an old iCloud account in order to sign in with an updated ID, and if the old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, temporarily recreate the old ID by going tohttps://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use yourcurrent password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud).
