My iPhone 5 won't display smart text options.

My iPhone 5 won't display smart text. It did when I initially downloaded the new OS, now those options don't appear at all. Did I click something to make them disappear?
I went into Settings to see if there was a component of it within Messages. I don't see anything.
Thoughts please.....

Awwww......that's it....the dash! I tapped it. Tried to drag it up/down and it didn't move. Now I swiped and it's back!
So I need to remember to drag up/down and now swipe.....

Iphone won't display entire email message, only preview?

Sprint iphone 4Gs will display only preview of email message. When I tap on the preview, it won't display the entire email message, only the preview. Previously worked fine, only recently started doing this.

I recently had a problem with messages too. Try hooking up to itunes and hitting the restore button. You will have to back up your settings again, but it worked to solve my problem. Hope that helps.

If you have recently changed the password on your Apple ID account, you may need to manually sign out and sign back in to your Apple ID on your device for the change to take effect. You may find the following article helpful:

WRT54GS router setup page won't display most text

So I bought a new Linksys WRT54GS v6 wireless router yesterday, and I was able to set it up to share my DSL line, but when I went to the router setup page (192.168.1.1), it wouldn't display most text. It displays text in the entry boxes, but there are no links or other text on the page. I took a screenshot which can be seen here: http://img87.imageshack.us/img87/3390/routersetuppagemc1.jpg
Does anyone know what I can do to solve this issue?

Hey Merugo. I was having the same problem with the router settings screen refusing to load for my WRT54G. Do you happen to have v.5 of the router? After digging around in the help files on the site, I found this for firmware recovery for the WRT54G v.5 and it fixed the problem I was having once it loaded the updated .bin. Blank screen be gone.

(The first time the router tried to load the new .bin it timed out. And the second time it installed correctly though it didn't display "Upgrade Success" like it's apparently supposed to.)

Contact Form won't display input text

Hi,
I'm trying to create a flash contact form that sends the
user's message on enter key. Therefore I need you to help me do
this and also help me understand why my form isn't displaying right
when I have a mask for it.

IPhone won't send cellular/text messages to other iphone

So, I'm out of data and I had no wifi either. For all my contacts that have iPhones, messages recognised this and switched it from iMessage to just message. Except for one contact. Even though I had sent that contact text messages before, as well as iMessages. I have no idea what hapoened or how to fix it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I had this same problem. I could send group messages to people that had iPhones, but when ever I tried to send a group message to people that don't have iPhones, it would never go through. I was searching and searching for an answer, and I finally found it.
I went to the Settings --> Messages --> Group Messaging
Turn OFF Group Messaging
Doesn't make sense, but it worked for me. Hope it works for you too.

HELP! DWCS3 won't display DW8 text on my Mac

I recently got DWCS3 (v9.0) on a Mac and had been using
DWMX2004. My HTML pages displayed fine in DW8 but when I moved them
to DWCS3 the main table cells do not display correctly. Does anyone
know what is going on. I can see half the text on my page but the
rest is blank. Is there an easy fix for making my pages display as
they did in DW8 or DWMX2004? Again I am on a Mac and am not a
tech-type. I am a designer who knows how to cut and paste code but
I would need some help. I know there is a fix for the PC that
allows one to view files as if they were in DW8. But I need a
step-by-step guide if possible as to how it should be set up on the
Mac. Please help me find a fix.

My iPhone 4S does not load the login pages of public wifi hotspots. It has not always done this for I cn remember a using it afew times. Help please before I break this phone lol

One possibility is that you have specified DNS servers in your Network preferences. (Network Preferences -> Advanced -> DNS, see if anything is specified.) If so, you want to create a new network location which doesn't have any DNS servers defined. (Network Preferences -> Location -> Edit Locations.) Create a new one (click the + sign), and use that location when logging on to public WiFi hotspots.
The other (and worse) problem might be a security feature added to OS 10.7.2 and higher versions.
Apple found out that a hacker could fool you into accepting a bogus "update" via a fake Software Update pop-up. The fix was to rig the OS so that, when you connect to a wifi network, a Mac running the new and improved OS will silently "phone home" to an IP address at apple.com, and inquire about the hotspot's certificate. If it fails to get back a message declaring the hotspot's certificate to be valid, it assumes that the hotspot login popup is fake, and won't let you proceed. The permanent solution is for the hotspot's "captive portal system" to allow Macs to connect to the Apple host, so that the OS can do the verification. Most public WiFi systems have made the adjustment, but there are quite a few (including many schools) who are behind the curve. If this is your issue, tell whoever runs the network to get with the program!
While waiting for that to happen, you can always copy the login page url from a PC (or older Mac OS) that is able to access the hotspot, paste it into your address bar, and take it from there. (Truncate the url at the first question mark . . . the ? and all the junk that comes after it are likely to be specific to the machine you copied it from. You'll see a fresh bunch of junk materialize, as the site talks to your Mac.)

Edited button instance won't display my text

I've added a button (from Flex Components) to my canvas then
double-clicked that instance to change the text and create an over
state. I changed the text from 'Button' to 'Normal' in State 1 and
'Over' in State 2. However, when I exit the editing view and go
back to my canvas, the button text reverts back to 'Button'. Have I
done something wrong?

You should be using the Symbol Properties panel for this.
There is a
field there for label, and you can change the visual
attributes for each
state there as well.

Safari Mac won't display Rich Text HTML editor in Yahoo web mail

"Safari 3.2 (Mac)", "Yahoo email", "Compose Message" Toolbar, Rich Text (HTML) editor.
In Yahoo's Compose Message editor, I don't see the Rich Text (HTML) editor and its toolbar while using Safari 3.2 in Yahoo mail (classic). In Firefox, I see the Rich Text editor toolbar and it works fine.
I've searched on this forum, including Yahoo and others, and don't see this complaint. Is there something I've overlooked?

I found this in the Yahoo Mail Help:
How do I write in BOLD, italics or Color, or change font size?
On the Compose page, above the upper-right corner of the compose window, there's a link that either says Rich Text or Plain Text. Click this link to switch back and forth between the two. Since the link is the switch, you'll actually see Plain Text when you're in Rich Text.
In Rich Text, you can change the look of your message in a bunch of different ways. Again, since the link is there to switch from one mode to the other, if you see Plain Text, that means you're already in Rich Text! If you see Rich Text, click it.
The Rich Text toolbar appears above the Compose window.
Spell check
Going from left to right, the first button is the 'abc' spell-check button. Click it anytime to check your spelling starting at the beginning of your email. When you're finished, click Close.
Font and Size
Font: The Font button has two F’s on it. Click it to view other Font choices and select another Font.
Size: Click the button with two A’s on it to choose the size of type you want. Browse the menu and click the size you want.
Bold, Italics and Underline
B is for Bold, I is for Italics, and U is for Underline. Emphasize your point! :o)
To use these formatting tools, either click a button and start typing, or, select a block of text (or one word), and then click a button to format the text.
color
Text Color: Click the "T" button to see a palette of many colors. Select the text color you want, and start typing. Or, select a block of text (or one word), and then click the button to apply the color.
Background color: Want to give your text a background color? Either click the highlighter color you want and then start typing, or, select the text to which you'd like to add a background, then press this button to apply the highlighting color.
Emoticons
Add emotional oomph to what you say by selecting from the list of graphical emoticons.
Links and Lines
Globe with Links button: Insert a web site link!
Line button: Insert a horizontal line. Handy!
Alignment
Choose from flush-left, centered, or flush-right text alignment.
Lists
Bullets and Numbering button: create bulleted or numbered lists.
Indenting
Decrease Indent: Place the cursor where you would like to move the text to the left and click the "Decrease Indent" button.
Increase Indent: Place the cursor where you would like to move the text to the right and click the "Increase Indent" button.
Yahoo hasn't the best rich text editor out there for e-mail. Why not use Mac Mail... so much easier and supports RT. Yahoo having laid off personnel, I doubt if their internet based mail client sees much in the way of improvement anytime soon.

Menu bar won't display energy saving option on MacBook!!!

After the update one thing I noticed is the menu bar on the macbook (white), from the battery options, there is no option unless you open system preferences to choose from best battery life to custom.
Any Ideas?

My finder modification dates have gone haywire after doing the menu date change.Where exactly are you viewing these dates?
I still have the problem after deleting the system prefs plist.I think Scott gave you the wrong preference list. These formats are stored in an invisible preference file: "~/Library/Preferences/.GlobalPreferences.plist " (that's the one in your Home Library folder). But there are four formats. The Menu Bar Clock uses the second one, you may have inadvertently changed one of the others.
Open the Terminal (from /Applications/Utilities) and copy and paste the following into the Terminal window followed by a return:
defaults read -g AppleICUTimeFormatStringsCopy and paste the result from the Terminal window to a post here. For reference, this is what I get:

Uprgrad to ios7 calender won't display text entered. the appointment entered is there becauwse it alerts me to appointments entered

Calender won't display text entered for appointments.
The appointments are there as the phone alerts me as requested. Also the appointments are synced with icloud and Outlook on my computer.
Any appointments entered in computer do not show on phone but are there.

I've managed to fix this!
In case it's helpful to anyone encountering this problem, here's what I did.
I went into the preferences (through the Calendar app, not the System Preferences - didn't want to remove the entire account info, in case I encountered problems getting my email to link again), clicked on the Account tab and removed the Exchange account (by clicking the "-" (minus) sign below the listing of accounts). I then added an account (clicking the "+" sign) and re-entered the information. When asked if I wanted to add these settings for Mail and Contacts, I unclicked those options (bc they're already installed and work fine). Once I completed the information, I closed the settings window, and hit ⌘+R to refresh and all the Exchange appointments appeared.

Go to Settings>General>Keyboards>Predictive Text>ON. If it is on, you can toggle it off and then back on. The other method is to check in the typing area of the Messages app and it could be minimized. You would see a small line in the center just below the typing area. You would just need to put your finger on that small line and swipe upwards. But either should bring it back.
