My IPhone 5c duplicates my music and says I have 8gb of pictures when I only have 200 of them, what's happening?
All of my albums are super long because there are duplicates of each song. Plus in my memory it says that I have 5 gb left and that i have 8gb of pictures when I only have 200. I already did a soft and hard reset and it keeps on happening. Help!

Are you using the HD feature if you are taking photos? If yes, HD photos are using more space on your phone, try to use the default settings for the photo quality.

My iPhone will not play music. Whenever I try to play music through the speakers on my iPhone it won't let me adjust the volume (like it's connected to a dock) and when I do connect it to a dock, the music plays through the iPhone speakers. Also I've tried just listening to my music through earphones and it plays for around 6 seconds then it goes back to like it's connected to a dock. Help? I've tried turning it off and on, restarting it and even restoring it and nothing's worked.
It says this when not connected to the dock. His dock is an ihome which isn't an official Apple dock. I think my next step is to take the thing in to an Apple store.

I have 30 GB iPod, 12 GB music, it says I have 12 GB other, what's other?
OK, with my 30GB iPod hooked into my mac, it says I have about 12 GB music, 12 other and 4 free. What is other, how can I see what the other is, and how do I get rid of it if I don't want it? Please help ASAP.
Thanks.The Other category of your iPod consists of such things as album artwork, the iPod's software, games, files you are storing external on the device, etc. However, it's size you usually only a small fraction compared to the rest of your iPod's storage allocation (unless you are storing up large chunks of data on the iPod externally).
A large amount of other is usually a good indication of corrupt files on your iPod leftover from sailed sync operations with iTunes. The only way to reduce it to a smaller number and address this issue, is to restore the iPod to factory settings in iTunes.

Updated my iphone 3gs, lost my music and apps, they are backed up on my computer but i cannot move them over to my phone, tried to sync but not working, please help
well first make sure that when you click on the name of your iphone on the left hand side of itunes that you go to the app and music tab and check mark the sync apps and sync music. then try clicking apply in the bottom right hand corner. then if not try doing it again after going to prefrences in the top menu and going to devices tab and click reset sync history if that doesnt work with music try and drop and drag to the name of your iphone, lastly if that doesnt work you can try restoring from a backup from before you updated. it will keep the new software but put everything that was on your phone when you created the backup back onto your phone.

I have a iPhone 5. In usage, it says i have 2.1 gigs used because of photos and camera. I have deleted all my photos via iPhoto and now reset the phone back to factory settings in order to try to solve this problem, to no avail. Both iTunes and the phone say that 2.1 gigs are being used, even though the phone now has nothing on it. What is going on?
Yeah it works fine over wifi the problem is when I try to use it over my 3G. It's really stressing me out now.

I purchased an ablum thru itunes on my phone and it says i purchased the songs on itunes but when i go on my music it says i have to repurchase all the songs how can i get the songs with out havin to pay again
Whether you can redownload music depends upon what country that you in. If you are using your computer's iTunes then does music show in the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page (on your phone you might be able to redownload media via the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app) ? If music shows there, but not that album, then check to see if it's hidden : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4919
If you aren't in a country when you can redownload music and it's still on your phone then you should be able to copy it over from the phone via File > Devices > Transfer Purchases. -
I was updating my software on my iphone 4 and it crashed so it recovered it and i restored it from its back up. However I have lost all my music and my apps but not my pictures. How can i get my music back. I did not remove my phone from the computer until it had said it had finsihed.
Media and apps are not part of the backup. They need to be re-synced from your itunes library or re-downloaded from the store.

The calendar on my iPhone 42 suddenly went blank and says No Events. How do I get my data back?
I've been having the same problem every 3-4 months: the calendar app seems to hang up, I either reset the app/phone or wait it out, then presto! all internal calendar entries have been deleted. Unlike others in this thread and elsewhere, I am not using iCloud.
Interesting fact: while following the suggestion to hide all calendars, then show all calendars, I noticed that the internal calendar option is MISSING. It's like it just doesn't identify that there ever WAS an internal calendar. Really? Argh.
Apple Support: are you guys monitoring this? I've seen a few similar postings, so I don't think we're alone...
Granted, I have more than a few entries - years of calendar/appointment history have been imported from my old Palm Treo. Thanks to slow performance and odd calendar app crashes, I am very well aware that the iPhone's calendar isn't nearly up to the task of handling this many entries, and have been working to get the quantity of entries down. I must be up near some threshold, as response time seems to have improved with several deleted entries, though it was just before the crash+data loss.
Fortunately, I try to sync with my Outlook calendar nightly, so I do have a backup. However, this type of data loss and instability re VERY painful for those that actually USE and practically LIVE by their calendars. Here's hoping I can remember today's entry modifications...
One additional complaint: WHY can't I edit a recurring appointment WITHOUT it creating a NEW one? Crazy... For all the things this smartphone does well, it does several things VERY stupidly.

My problem is that after upgrade to IOS 6.1.3 my iphone not sounds! dont have sounds notifications for whatssap, FB, mails and can't listen music and talk with skype without headphones or speakers! only have vibrator and sound for one coming call!! what can i do!???? Thanks a lot for help me!!!!
I have a nearly identical problem with my Ipad 3. Mine is the left channel. I've yet to find help, but have found a number of other posts on this and other forums discussing the issue. People have tried restore, reset etc. Also, cleaning the ports with compressed air or cotton swabs. It appears to be a software issue, but no one is sure.
Along with the original poster, I'd appreciate any help.

I'm trying to get my ringtones that i purchased on my old iPhone onto my new one that I just got. They r in my history and when I click on them it says you have already purchased them, would you like to buy them again in order to download them. I did it with one already and I now need help so I don't have to buy them again. Can u help get them back please
Ringtones are currently a one-time only download from the store. The first thing you need to do is (in the left side of iTunes, under devices) right click on your phone, and do a manual back up. As long as that works, this should work for you. After you back it up, go to your phone in iTunes, and do a "Restore". Click the option to restore and update. When it is done with the update, it will ask you if you want to set your phone up as a new phone, or restore from the last back up. Restore it, and after another restart, and a sync, you will have your updated phone without loosing your information.
