My iPhone 5c has literally just stopped working, I haven't dropped it or anything, I've tried holding down the buttons and charging it but nothing works, it's like it's constantly dead

My phone literally just stopped working through the day it had about 80% charge so it wasn't dead, never dropped it or damaged it in anyway.

Things to try: Press power button for 5-10 seconds to see if it responds.  If not, try connecting to your computer and see if it wakes up and itunes recognizes it.  Last thing would be to try to charge it for a while to see if it wakes back up.  Possibly have defective battery.  Your last resort is then to take it to apple store to see if they can wake it up.
