My iPhone 5s missing letters on my keyboard when I turn the phone sideways. Please help.
When texting with my new 5s, I turned my phone sideways and noticed that my keyboard was there, but most of the letters besides "D" and "M" are missing. Is there any solution to this?

I bought my iPhone on Friday and when I tried to use it to make a call (after I had left the store) the screen had turned green - as if a green filter had been placed over it. I recently updated my IPhone 4 software to IOS 6.1 When I turned the phone back on my contacts were lost? only a few that were in favorites were still there. I was getting messages that I have to delete some backup storage (which I did) and the contacts still do not appear.ellen2140
Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.

Is there an on or off button for this feature, as the screen on my phone will not switch from upright to the lengthened screen when I turn the phone sideways. My phone is very new, just got it beginning of July of this year (2012). Has this happened to anyone?

My new iphone 4S camera is not functioning. When I click the phone icon, the shutter appears. Then the screen only shows the shutter. When I go back to the home screen and click the phone icon again. The photo screen only shows a black screen. The button to take photos is locked the entire time. I've turned the phone on and off several times.
Basic troubleshooting steps outlined in the User Guide are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new. Have these ALL been tried?

It says that "Could not activate iphone" Yopur Iphone could not be activated because the activation server is temporarily unavailable. iPhone 5 was updated (version unknown), and now screen shows 'Connect to iTunes. When we try to do this, we get message 'iTunes could not contact the iPhone software update server because you are not connected to the internet'.
Please tell me how I fix this problem.
ThanksYes, the reason you are getting the error is the phone cannot provide internet for the laptop and then update itself. It would lose connection as you erase the firmware and try to update. You need to connect the computer to the Internet in some other fashion before you connect the phone to try and fix the update problem. As Ocean20 says, and I completely agree, how would you think you could use the Internet connection of a device that is not only going to turn off and on, but is going to get completely wiped of firmware and restored? It would completely remove the device from the equation here. Does that make sense to you?

I purchased iphone 5S in Saudi Arabia; there are iphones promoted with Face Time app, sold here widely. When I purchased it, there was no explicit ad for Face Time with it. I have Gold, 64 GB. When I extensively searched for this app, i just found it in notifications (badges, alerts). I have not been able to find the app anywhere else in the phone. Would any friend here on this forum let me know how to set an email account for Face Time? I am not sure whether it actually exists in my phone. Thank you.

A Sprint iPhone can only be used with Sprint. It cannot be unlocked, except by Sprint. And they will only unlock it for use outside of the US, and only if you are a Sprint customer. The phone is useless to you if you don't want to use it with Sprint. Return it for a refund.
