There has been posts claiming that your router works on 2.4 MHz. Versus the 5 MHz. Available on A/C/B/G/N wireless routers.
See if a solution has been found other than switching to 2.4

Delete you mail account on the phone and disable to sync your mail account in the info pane in iTunes with your phone connected, same for contacts. Also deselect photo syncing in the photo pane. After the following sync, your mail, contact and photos should be gone.
Photos inside the camera roll have to be deleted on the phone.
Remember, that apps only can be used with the account they were bought with. If the phone will be set up with a different iTunes account, all of your apps will be removed.

IPhone 3GS and OS 4.01 software - shuts off all the time

I installed OS 4.01 and my phone quits all the time, problems seem to be when using camera more often then not, and sometimes I get the red bar battery depleted and when I plug in, it boots up and says battery 65% ?
Any fix's for this ?? any way to go back to OS3, I've reset and it reinstall with OS 4.01?

Fan Control Apps/Utilities generally can only raise the speed of the fans and not lower them.
Disable, turn off or uninstall whatever Fan Control that you installed and reset the SMC.

The bar that says "File, Edit, View, History, Bookmarks, Tools, help" has disappeared and I would like it to appear all the time.

Myinfotopic has appeard and now I have adds popping up all the time that I don't want. I feel infected. How can I get rid of it

I really have liked Firefox but now I am having a lot of problems with "myinfotopic" and all the adds that pop up unwanted. I don't know how it got in my computer and I can find no way to get rid of it. I have a service called Answers by Technical Support and they say the problem comes from your website and they can't fix it. There is an add the runs across the bottom of the screen and before I updated Firefox it would just stay on the screen and obscure whatever I was looking at. There would also be adds that would slip out from the side of the screen on each website I went to. Both types of adds could be removed but there was always another one that popped up when I went to a new site. Also, before I updated Firefox pages would just start opening automatically and I have no idea where they were coming from.
On your browser I also have the security warning coming up 2 times every time I go to my start page to try a new search for something..
I like your browser better than any I have tried but I will have to change if you can't help me fix this.
Please advise what I can do.

Try removing these extensions:

Open the Add-ons page using:
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Extensions. If they can be removed great, if they can only be disabled, disable them for the moment.
Usually a link will appear above a disabled extension to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the add-ons page and click the link as the last step.

Getting audio dropouts when a song starts playing.....but not all the time

I have a 80GB Ipod. Use it mostly in my truck/car (have a IPOD interface in each). Usually use the shuffle mode for playing songs. It seems that as of a couple days ago I will get a audio drop out right after a song starts playing (one or two seconds into the song). Only lasts for a second or so but it does not happen on every song....there has not been a pattern that I can see (not every other song ot every thitrd song....just random..........) But it is always in the same place in the song......always one or two seconds after the song starts playing. Has anyone had this problem and if so how did you fix it? Thanks

Browser oppen and minimize fine but webpages do not. how do i get it to open to the size of the browser and stay that way with out zooming all the time

I can not get a webpage to stay the size of the browser with out zooming in every time i go to a web page. With out zooming it just stay small with white on both sides. When I try an google certain web sites including "NFL" firefox freezes and I get the unresponsive script chrome:/wrc/content/common/scripts/bal.js:854". I uninstalled Google Chrome but still have the same problem.

Thanks to philipp: I disabled the avast addon (from) when I updated to avast 9.0.2008, and the unresponsive script has stopped freezing firefox during google searches.
