At the first time i bought ip4 in Singapore and this is a world item but when i went to Australia my phone have problem and i change to new ones in Apple store in Goerge street at city of Sydney. I used it with vodafone carrier but now i come back to VN i know that the phone they give me is locked VOdafone. why they change it. and how can i change it to world for using in VIetnam my account : [email protected] Can Somebody check for me

I had the same problem with my wife's iPhone after updating to iOS5 on her 3GS. The next time you sync you iPhone uncheck all the ringtones and then sync. After it has finished go back to ringtones and recheck all the ringtones you want on your iPhone and sync again. You are basically removing all the ringtones and then reinstalling them on your iPhone. This worked for my wife's iPhone.

From what it sounds like you are wanting to sign out of iCloud with the "old" ID and sign in with the new. The following Knowledge Base article should help you with that issue:

Specifically:
To change a secondary account to a primary account
iOS 5 or later:
Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
Delete the secondary account.
Tap the Back button.
Tap iCloud.
Delete the primary account.
Add the secondary account that you want to be your primary account.

Did you already try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again?

Should iOS Significant Location Change wake up my app after restarting a *locked* phone?

I am building an app that uses the significant change API. Everything works fine except in a very specific case:
If the user's phone is locked, and the user restarts the phone, then the Significant Location Change API will wake up the phone in the first few minutes and make a call to
- (void)locationManager:(CLLocationManager *)manager didUpdateLocations:(NSArray *)locations
All good, but at this point, if the user has yet to unlock their phone, the Significant Location Change will make no further attempts to wake up the app, even if I subsequently unlock the phone. Essentially, Significant Location Change monitoring gets turned off.
N.B. that if I unlock (and re-lock) the phone before the SLC wakes up my app, then it will continue to wake up my app with any subsequent location changes.
My question is: is this really the expected behaviour? Can anyone point me to documentation about the behaviour of the SLC API when the phone is locked, and specifically when the phone is locked and the device is restarted?

Please let the OD Master and OD Replica replicate. You can reset the password manually on the wiki server. It may be a replica, but that doesn't mean you cant change things in the meanwhile.

How can you restore ALL your photos back into your iphone after changing your icloud plan to 20GB?!? It ruined my photos and videos, and I don't even know if I have them anymore!!!

Okay. I recently changed my icloud storage plan to 20GB, for $0.99 a month, to have more room in my phone. After that, I realized a lot of my videos were acting up and wouldn't play. I honestly don't know what I did, nor that I can remember, but I tried to play around a little with my phone to see if anything would work again. Then I ended up storing more than HALF of my photos and videos in my icloud storage, and now I can't seem to get them back into my regular iphone stream! I can't see ANY of the pictures/videos stored in icloud, but it tells me that I have 377 photos and 16 videos stored in icloud, and 2.2GB are used, and I could only see 33 photos, and 8 videos in my phone! I want to know how I could UNDO all this, and put EVERYTHING back in my iphone storage, and OFF of icloud! icloud confuses me a lot. I'll just stick with 5GB. HELPP PLEASE!!!
And also, I want to know WHYYYYY I have to keep downloading my videos before playing them!

Sinc my iPhone after Change from PC to Mac

I just got a new Mack Book Pro and I would like to sinc my 3G-S iPhone with it.
So far I was using a PC with Windows XP, but after authorizing the new Mac in Itunes it seems that if I connect the iPhone, everything will vanish from my iPhone when sinc take place ............

a manual backup will help:
Disable autosync in itunes, connect your phone, right click on it in the device list and choose backup.
This will save data, pictures taken with the phone and settings to itunes. See what's included in this backup here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1766
Transfer your purchases the same way to copy all apps and bought media from the Store to your computer.
Set up at least one contact and event on your computer to be able the merge your calendars and contacts after your phone got wiped during the first sync.
The rest of the data can be restored from the backup you made.

Music is one way only, from the computer to your device, unless you bought the songs in itunes and transferred your purchases.

Insert a SIM card from the carrier the phone is locked to.
Next time, if you need your phone unlocked, do it legally, through the carrier.

Problem with email setup in iPhone after changing to secure settings

When changing account settings to use Verizon's new secure email settings, my iPhone keeps giving error " Can not get Mail, the mail server incoming.verizon.net is not responding.
I am using port 995 with SSL as instructed. Switching back to the standard port 110 with no SSL works fine.
Outgoing works fine with port 465 and SSL.
Also, same secure settings on Outlook 2010 work perfectly fine.
Anyone having this issue?

A few other people have posted that after making the changes they had to reboot their iPhone/iPad in order for it to connect again. Have you tried restarting?

IPhone 4s voice over locked phone

Hi does anyone know how to unlock the phone as it's saying when I enter my password that it's incorrect as the voice over is locking the keys some how? Any ideas please

With voice over you highlight whater you are trying to select and then double tap anwhere on the screen to select.
So for your password of 1234 you have to
"highlight 1, then double tap the screen, Highlight 2, the double tap the screen,... etc."
In order to remove the only option i know of is to reset your phone.
1.     In order to do so, highlight "setting"
        Double tap screen to go into settings
2.      use 3 fingers to (swipe) scroll of down
3.     highlight reset, then double tap on the screen
4.     From there you can follow instructions to reset your phone.
You dont lose any data or music if you reset.

Won't let me change it. How can I get them to update to new apple ID? I'm not able to complete any updates for apps. As user ID is pre-populated and just gives me the option to input my password.

Settings>iTunes & App Stores>Apple ID. Tap the old ID and sign out, sign in with the new one.

Log out of icloud on iphone after changing appleID

I lost access to the email account that I had always used for my Apple ID. I have changed my Apple ID but didn't know that I should have logged out of I cloud on my phone before I did. Now when I try to log out on my phone it shows the old apple ID and asks for a password. I have tried the password that was used when that ID was used and I have tried my new password but I cant seem to log out. Any help is much appreciated.

Go back and change your AppleID back to the old address.
Do NOT send verification email.
Then Settings > iCloud and delete the account.
Then go and change your AppleID back to the new address.
