My iPhone and iPad mini are not synchronizing to my ICal or visa versa
Can someone please explain to this non technical person how to sync my Iphone and Ipad mini to my ICal and visa versa. Thx

Since Mavericks update my iPhone and iPad calendars

I think this is a good workaround ! BTW I stopped updating my contacts and calendar on the MB, I only
update the iphone until a permanent solution is found !
And they better come up with one soon, because I'll just switch to an Android phone and Ubuntu linux for my MBP, Apple should make our lives easier, not harder !
I'm sure Samsung is having a ball ever since the sync issue was made public !

Ipad Mini is NOT synchronizing my music or video and it does in all my other devices. What's wrong?Are you signed into the correct ID on the iPad?
Did you select the content to sync in iTunes for the iPad?
Do you have any content restricted in Settings>General>Restrictions?
Connect the iPad to the computer and launch iTunes.
Click on the iPad name on the left side under devices.
Click on the Music Tab on the right.
Click on all of the albums or playlists that you want to sync - or the entire library if you like.
Click on the Sync Music Heading.
Click on Apply in the lower right corner of iTunes
Do the same thing for your videos. If you are running iTunes 11 and can't see the sidebar go to View>Show Sidebar in the menu at the top of the screen. -

I have investigated and tried things like re-setting apple ID and deleting the plist file etc, nothing works.
My Wife is having same problems in a different location so deffinatly not a problem with my wi-fi.

After upgrading iPhoto 9.1.2 when you synchronize the iphone / iphoto ipad events are not copied correctly (this option checked all the photos on itunes).I found this other thread discussing this topic, no fix, I will revert to 9.1.1 from Time Machine and wait for a new update.

That's a new feature introduced in iOS 8 called Handoff. You can start something on your iPhone and finish it on your iPad or Mac. You can make the iPad stop ringing by going to Settings>FaceTime on the iPhone and toggling off iPhone Mobile Calls. You can do it on the iPad also.

I have a Netgear WNR2000 router and an Edimax EW-7438RPn wifi range extender. I have gotten the range extender to work well with my MacBook Air, however, while my iPhone 3Gs and iPad mini can pick up the wireless signal from the range extender, they cannot get to the Internet through it. No IP Address, Subnet Mask, Router, or DNS appear in the details on either the iPhone or the iPad mini. How do I get the iPhone and the iPad to connect to the Internet. It seems that the problem is with the iPhone and iPad, since the MacBook Air works just fine with this set up.

Go into the setup page of the EW-7438RPn. Go to Wireless Advanced Settings. There is a WMM settings. Make sure the WMM is enabled.

When I updated to iOS 6.1, I was asked if I wanted to connect all devices. My mistake was selecting yes!
I have an iPhone and iPad I just got for Christmas; I was using the same email on both devices for iMessages but I hate receiving all messages on both devices.
So, I tried to change my email for iMessages on the iPad but when I tried to delete my current email, I received a message that says I will no longer be able to receive emails on any device!
How can I undo this? Please help!!If the process isn't finishing for you there's not a lot you can do to force it. Perhaps a visit to the nearest Genius Bar? I don't know. Sorry I can't offer more constructive advice.
How long are you waiting on step 2? Depending on the size of your library and the speed of your internet it can take a few minutes, a few hours or even days. -

Is there any application working like a virtual leash between an Iphone 4S and an Ipad mini?
My problem is I already use bluetooth between my Iphone and Ipad for getting internet from the Iphone to the Ipad.
Devices I have seen are using bluetooth as well and will stop my connection for internet I guess.

EtienneNo. You can sync Apps by using the Same apple ID on both devices. But the Apps contents remains on the device unless it has a specific feature that backs up to the cloud or something similar that can then be retrieved on the other device.

How do I stop MacBook syncing with iPhone and iPad mini
My MacBook automatically starts to sync iPhone and iPad when I open iTunes. I only want to sync with my iMac, but MacBook seems to override what I want as default for syncing. I have under preferences device ticked box to prevent syncing but it makes no difference.
Any help would be appreciatedOn the PC from the Windows Start menu, choose Control Panel > Network and Internet > iCloud.
Make sure Mail is selected.

1. Log on to the Apple ID website and make sure the email associated with your Apple ID is there and is consistent with the email addresses in the iMessage app on both the iPhone and iPad. If you update or change this information, be sure to log out of iMessage on both devices, and then log in again so the devices have the updated info.

On a Windows PC the easiest way to get pictures from your iPhone is to just use Windows Explorer.
1) Plugin your iPhone to your PC
2) Open “My Computer”
3) Find your iPhone, it will appear as any other camera would
4) Open iPhone to find your Photos
5) Select the pictures you want to copy to your computer and copy/ paste them into the desired location on your PC. -

After working great why will my home share not work on my iphone and ipad mini
I had been running home share on my iphone great. I share a music library with my wife. We just bought an ipad mini and i was messing around with the ipad and set up home share, however it would not work. I tried logging out of my iphone and re connect and it will no longer connect. I have not been able to get home share to work on the mini.
