My iphone apple logo is flashing continuely.

my iphone is not working correctly. i,ve tied everything the troubleshooter told me and it,s not working. the apple logo is continuely flashing.

If your iphone logo is just flashing the 1st thing I would suggest is to plug into your computer. See if the phone is recognized by the computer. If so it most likely will ask you if you want to set it up or ask you if you wish to restore to store settings. If so say yes and this should bring back your phone
Hope that helps John

  • IPhone Apple Logo and Display Flashing

Apple iPhone was very hot and froze. I just reset it and it keeps loading up tot the Apple Logo, then flashes and resets itself. Won't let me reset or shut off. I plugged it into the Dock Connector it came with, and it wouldn't be recognized by iTunes. I reset it when it was in the dock and waited for it to cool down. I then held the power button and it started back up again.
It won't be recognized by iTunes to restore.
    Any help?

    To solve this:
Plug your phone in, hold the home/sleep buttons until your phone is put into DFU mode. In iTunes, hold shift, and click on restore. Browse to the firmware version you want to restore to, and click okay.

  • "Waiting for iPhone... " alwayz stuck at this stage...Already tried using DFU mode and many times...but always stuck at this stage. However in iphone APPLE LOGO and Status bar is coming but not processing ahead!

"Waiting for iPhone... " alwayz stuck at this stage...Already tried using DFU mode and many times...but always stuck at this stage. However in iphone APPLE LOGO and Status bar is coming but not processing ahead! Even my device is not jailbroken.
iTunes recognize this device and giving option for Restore. i go for it and in the continue process WAITING FOR iPHONE /// at this stage it stuck.. and keep serching like for something and in the iPhone APPLE LOGO and Status bar showing..but not processing further.

    Shaishel,
Did you resolve this?  I am having the same problem!  Let me know if you have any suggestions.
    Thanks

It needs to be dried out. Stop using it.. don't turn it on. Put it in a zip lock bag with some rice or one of those packets of dessicant for a day or two. That might do it.

  • Frozen iPhone - apple logo with black screen

My phone is frozen with the apple logo on the black screen. I have tried all the suggestions previously posted about holding the button while plugging in the USB...nothing works. It's FROZEN!! Can anyone help? I'm getting desperate.

If you read the many posts about this, it takes more than just pressing the home button when plugged into iTunes. Did you do a reset - press both home and sleep/wake buttons until the Apple logo appears?
    Recovery mode:
    1. Start iTunes.
    2. Plug USB end of cable into a USB port in the back of your computer, not an external hub or keyboard port. Plug phone port end directly into the phone without using a dock.
    3. Press BOTH the home and sleep/wake buttons until the Apple logo reappears, then continue pressing the home button alone until iTunes sees the phone in recovery mode.
    4. Follow the prompts to restore.
If the phone doesn't respond to any of this, there is either a hardware problem or you have hacked firmware installed. In either case your only solution is replacement.

anyone, pls help - my ipad is not opening, only apple logo is flashing on and off... pls help

Have you tried rebooting your iPad?
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
If that does not work, you can try restoring your iPad iOS Software.

Make sure that you read the article all the way through and pay attention to the last part that talks about using recovery mode.

If you have restored to factory settings and started as new, there is nothing more that you can do on your own. Make an appointment at an Apple Store and ask them for help. You might have a hardware problem and the Apple Store techs will be able to determine that.

Refurbished iPod touch 3rd gen won't start.  Just got it today to replace my broken one. It freezes at the screen with the apple logo, then flashes off and tries to restart again. Help!

I have tried holding the power home button but all that does is turn it off. When I try to start it again it goes into the same loop.

  • Apple logo keeps flashing and i cant restart because power button is broken

My apple logo keeps flashing on my phone for about 10 seconds at a time. I know most of you will tell me to hold the power and home button but the problem is my power buttons broken. Also, plugging it into my wall and laptop won't do anything. I'm not sure what else to try, any advice is appreciated.

There really isn't anything to do.  You'll need to bring your phone to Apple for replacement.

  • Apple logo constantly flashing after installation of IOS 7 on iPhone 4

My iPhone 4 (Version IOS 5.1.1) was updated to version 7.1. After installation, the iphone screen has been showing constant flashing of the apple logo - every 5 seconds or so. How do I fix this?

    Hello there, SoftDr1nk.
The following Knowledge Base article provides some great, practical steps for troubleshooting your issue:
iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3281
If a single application is not responding or stops responding when it opens, you can force it to close.
If the device is unresponsive or if certain controls aren't working as expected, restart your device.
If the device remains unresponsive or does not turn on (or power on), reset your device.
If there is no video or if the screen remains black, verify that the device has enough charge to turn on:
If you are using an iPad, ensure that it's connected to the USB Power Adapter supplied with the device.
Let it charge for at least twenty minutes, then see if it starts normally.
If there is no image on the screen, press the Sleep/Wake button to attempt to wake the device.
If the screen displays a red battery icon, continue charging the device until the battery is fully charged. Learn more about charging iPhone and iPod touch, or iPad.
If the above steps do not resolve the issue, or the if the screen remains black or shows a persistent Apple logo, try restoring with iTunes:
Connect the device to your computer and open iTunes.
If the device appears in iTunes, select and click Restore on the Summary pane. Learn more aboutrestoring iOS software.
If the device doesn't appear in iTunes, try to force the device into recovery mode, and then restore it.
If the above steps do not resolve the issue, contact Apple.
Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities.
    Cheers,
    Pedro.

I have to have my iphone 4s connected to the wall or my computer in order for it to do anything. The apple logo just keeps flashing on and off and doesn't go to the home screen . My home button doesn't work so i can't reset it, should i just go to apple. Would it be a mother board problem, or battery problem ? thanks
