My iPhone Cable isn't working I've plugged it into my PC and the socket.
My iPhone 5C Cable isn't working, I'm positive it is the cable because the plug works (I've tried it with my iPad and iPod) it's not the PC Because I tried it on my PC and my mum's laptop, It doesn't chage at all, all that happens is a message pops up saying ''This cable or accessory is not certified and may not work reliably...'' The cable is brand new I got it and my iPhone 5C for Christmas (7 days ago) Nothing bad had happened to it, its still in brand new condition, I took the sticker off of the USB cable and made sure the glue all came off and non went inside, I've checked it for dirt and things, so I don't know what else to do, I don't want to buy a new one because they cost like £15 and I shouldn't need to after 7 days, I've noticed the cable gets very hot, yet again I don't know why. Can somebody please help me?
warrenty covers everything in the box also cable should it be defect

Hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds until the Apple logo appears; when you see the Apple logo let go of both buttons and your iPhone will reboot); 3. try using a different cable. -
My iPhone 4 will not turn on, when I plug it into my computer and load up iTunes its in recovery mode and the only option is to restore my device to factory settings, I have no back up of my phone I've also tried the home/sleep button thing but nothing, I have literally done every method I was told, I checked for water damage and that's fine. I don't want to restore my phone or buy a new one or pay for repairs because that's wasting money when it could be a simple way to fix it. And yes, I've also tried charging it and turning it in. I really need some help with my phone
That does happen. It depends on how hard the server is being hit, as well as the connection speed of your system. If you are on a windows system, you will want to disable any antivirus or firewall software during the download.

New iPhone 5 can't find any Bluetooth devices. I have reset the network settings without any luck. I have an iPad which can't find the iPhone but can find my old Nokia phone on Bluetooth. I want to use Bluetooth with my hearing aids, which work fine with the Nokia.
In terms of what is happening, when I turn on Bluetooth, I get "searching" under the devices section but no devices are found. Grey Bluetooth icon beside battery life icon.

I have had a 3GS for 2+ years. After upgrading to IOS 4 (now 4.3.5) I began having problems. In the past week, my screen went to the itunes logo and USB cable twice -- unprovoked -- just found it sitting there like that! I connected to itunes and it did restore from a backup but it is a major inconvenience. I am also searching for answers, but better back-up regularly!

My iPod touch 5th generation isn't working. I plugged it in last night to charge and now its not turning on or responding to anything. It used to do this thing where it would freeze when it was 100% charged and plugged in and I was using it. I'd just unplug it, restart it (home button and top button) and then it would be fine. That had happened like 5 hours prior to me plugging it in again and then it going totally blank.
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

My Macbook pro is rejecting my Iphone 5 charger. When ever I plug it in it says that the usb is taking to much power, yet when i plug in a different Iphone 5 charger it works fine. I'm just wondering why this is happening and how to fix it?

My iPhone will not work unless I plug it into my wall charger, It is fully charged but only works when it is plugged in to wall charger. When it is turned on it say "Restore needed iphone can not make or receive calls' i tried plugging it up to Itunes but it will not turn on to sync.
First try a hard reset, press and hold the power button and home buttons until the phone restarts and displays the Apple Logo, then let go.
If that doesn't work...
Try forcing recovery mode and then restore with iTunes.

Just purchased a new mac with Mountain Lion installed. My iPhoto isn't working. Error message says "you can't open the app "iPhoto" because it may be damaged or incomplete.
First try this: launch iPhoto with the Option key held down and create a new, test library. Import some photos and check to see if the same problem persists. If it does then make a temporary, backup copy (if you don't already have a backup copy) of the library and try the following:
1 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your
User/Home/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete iPhoto's cache file, Cache.db, that is located in your
User/Home/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder (Snow Leopard and Earlier).
or with Mt. Lion from the User/Library/Containers/com.apple.iPhoto/
Data/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder
3 - launch iPhoto and try again.
NOTE: If you're moved your library from its default location in your Home/Pictures folder you will have to point iPhoto to its new location when you next open iPhoto by holding down the Option key when launching iPhoto. You'll also have to reset the iPhoto's various preferences.
NOTE 2: In Lion and Mountain Lion the Library folder is now invisible. To make it permanently visible enter the following in the Terminal application window: chflags nohidden ~/Library and hit the Enter button - 10.7: Un-hide the User Library folder.

If you are unable to remember your password, security questions, don’t have access to your rescue address or are unable to reset your password for whatever reason, your only option is to contact Apple ID Support, upon speaking to an operator you should explain that your problem is related to your Apple ID, this way you will not be charged for assistance, even if you don’t have an AppleCare plan.
You will need to show patience with the procedure and be prepared to demonstrate without question that the account belongs to you. Don’t expect access to be restored immediately and if you aren’t the owner of the Apple ID registered to the device the account won’t be reset.

Should my iPhone 1 (iOS 3.1.3) with Bluetooth 2.0 (Handset HSP?) work with wireless earbuds with BT 4.0 and the Headset (and Handsfree, A2DP, AVRCP) protocol? They pair and connect as expected (with a PIN); status bar looks good and shows Bluetooth active, and I even see the iPhone displays the battery levels of the wireless earbuds. But audio always comes out the speaker. (If I plug in wired headphones into the headphone jack then audio comes into the wired headphones, as expected.) I have rebooted the iPhone; I have had it forget about the wireless earbuds, and repaired and reconnected; I have reset all network settings. Thx in advance.
PS: I understand that more recent versions of iOS have a way to choose where audio output goes (speaker, headphone jack, Bluetooth device). Does this older version of iOS? I could not find an option or setting.I've noticed this lately as well, with my iPhone 4. I couldn't confidently pin it directly on any particular iOS update, but my iPhone used to automatically connect up via Bluetooth with my Prius's handsfree feature, and now it doesn't. I work with a CE-based device at my job, with Bluetooth capability, and I used to test out that feature by having it discover my iPhone. This no longer works either.
What I have found (not really a solution, but it does work and may be a clue for Apple) is that if I simply go to the Settings app then the General -> Bluetooth screen and let it sit there, it will pair right up with my car within a few seconds. Bluetooth is always on, and always says "Now Discoverable" at the bottom of the settings screen. -
ALways love my iphone. Now itunes is ALWAYS unresponive to my iphone. Just stops working when I plug it in. downloaded older version, newer version.....use my iphone for my pdf book in college.....this is just ridiculous....
Downloaded older version and newer version of what. Any attempts to downgrade iOS are not allowed. Also, using iTunes with the latest iOS and iTunes requires the latest version.
I suggest that you remove and reinstall iTunes using this support document. You need to follow the steps exactly or you will just create more problems, which I think you already have. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1923 -
