My iPhone can't get passed lock screen.

I currently have ios 5 beta 4. everything was working fine but now the phone freezes and won't let me slide to unlock. Any solutions? I've tried resoring to 5.0 again but it won't let me. Also to 4.3 but still no luck.
Any ideas, thanks in advanced.

If you paid you were either taken or a fool (or both). There is no legitimate way to get iOS 5 except to register as a developer. The instructions that come with iOS 5 say that it cannot be downgraded once installed. You cannot get help for this problem in an Apple forum; an Internet search might (or might not) help.

  • HT201407 Can not get passed the screen where it asks me for Apple ID and password

    Dear Apple,
My father and I recently switched our phones because he needed a better phone for business. I now restored the phone and i can not get passed the screen where i need his Apple ID and Passcode. The problem with this is that it would be easy if i knew the Apple ID and password, but my father does not remember any sort of info about his Apple ID or password! Please help me ASAP! Thank you so much for taking the time out of your day for me.
    Sincerely, Paresh

Do not post your personal information on a public thread - not a good idea.
If your father does not remember his Apple ID that he set up iCloud and Find My iPhone with, have him go to: FORGOT APPLE ID to retrieve the Apple ID.
Then follow the prompts to reset the password.
If he doesn't remember the answers to the Security Questions, contact Apple Support to have them reset:

Once you know the Apple ID and the password, you will be able to proceed.

  • 5300 crashed and can't get passed welcome screen

I only bought the Nokia 5300 a couple of days ago but already it has crashed and now can't get passed the white Nokia welcome screen when I turn the phone on.
Admittedly, this did occur after I tried downloading an app and now fear this has permanantly damaged the phone.
Has this happened to anyone else or can anyone help?
    Any help is much appreciated!!!

Take your phone to a Nokia care point. The next time be more carefull when you are going to install any application in your phone.

  • IPhone won't get past lock screen. Restart won't work.

My phone was charging and I took it off the charger, my friend played around and did the color invert thing (where you press the home button 3 times). Now it won't get past the lock screen. When I try to put in my pass code it just puts boxes around the numbers but won't actually press it. I tried restarting it, it's currently plugged into my computer and nothing. It was really warm when I first noticed this. Help!

It sounds like your friend also turned on VoiceOver, which speaks items on the screen as you touch them (and sounds like the Siri voice).  You will need to go to Settings>General>Accessibility>VoiceOver and turn it off.  However, with VoiceOver on the way you use the iPhone screen changes.  First, to scroll you will need to flick the screen with three fingers.  Next, to activate something on the screen you will need to first tap it once to select it, then double-tap it to activate it.  Example:  to open Settings, tap Settings once (the voice will say "settings"), then double-tap it again and it will open.  The specific steps are:
Enter you lock code by tapping the first number once to select it, then double-tap it to enter it.  Repeat for the other numbers.
    Press Home.
    Tap Settings. Then double-tap Settings.
    Tap General. Then double-tap General.
Use three fingers on the screen to scroll to Accessibility.
    Tap Accessibility. Then double-tap Accessibility.
    Tap VoiceOver. Then double-tap VoiceOver.
Tap "On" next to VoiceOver. Then double-tap "On" to turn it off.
To fix the inverted colors, go to Settings>General>Accessibility and turn White on Black to Off.

  • On the iPad Air, how can I get the lock screen to stay on longer like it was with an iPad 2?

Since getting an iPad Air the lock screen does not stay on but for a few seconds after startup, how can I adjust the time of it? It used to stay on with my iPad2.Thanks

I guess I never noticed that the swipe to open doesn't stay on very long.  But, I've not found this to be an issue as I usally swipe the moment I have the option to swipe.  It's been so long since I had a 2nd generation iPad that I honestly can't remember if it stayed on longer.  It's still not a problem for me.  There is no setting which will let you keep the swipe to open on longer, so it would reasonable for Apple to say there is nothing wrong with your iPad

  • Can't get Lollipop lock screen to show analogue clock when in landscape orientation

I use a magnetic dock to charge my Z3C at night, at which time it doubles as my bedside clock. Unfortunately, while I prefer the analogue clock, the lock screen switches to digital as soon as the handset display is rotated to the landscape orientation.
In portrait, even with the magnetic dock attached, I can choose the analogue clock either through the settings or by using a long tap on the digital clock and swiping to analogue.
In landscape mode, which is only available when attached to the dock, the analogue display reverts to digital. A long tap on the clock does not seem to have any effect.
Is anybody else experiencing this? Any solutions? I've tried a few DayDream apps, but I'd rather get the native lock screen working, because it's better in other ways.

I was able to recreate the issue, contact Sony directly

  • Redirect via webdispacther; can't get passed logon screen

    Hi all,
Im trying to access our SAP ABAP system via our webdispatcher.
The redirect works, as Im getting the logon screen from our SAP abap system that I want to login to.
However, when I fill in my userID and password, nothing happens. The login screen appears again.
Our Webdispatcher doesnt have a DNS name(yet) so I am accessing it via IP :
    http://<ip webdispather>:8101
As Im getting the logon screen of our ABAP system, I can assume that the redirect is working fine, and all profile parameters are correct in the webdispatcher.
The only thing I can think of, but cannot test yet, is that the webdispatcher needs to have a DNS name to able to get this working ?
Does anyone have any suggestions ?
    Thanks in advance,
    Menno

If i understand correct you installed the webdispatcher on a server and you try to redirect communication to a different ABAP server.
In order to investigate I would start by installing the web dispatcher locally on the ABAP server first.
Use the minimal .pfl file you can
Here is an example of a simple and working pfl (using 8080 as the webdispatcher port)
Try to login to the webdispatcher admin console:
    http://<server>:<webdips_port>/sap/wdisp/admin/default.html
Make sure the status is green and running.
    After that do the following:
    1. Open a new browser session. If you use Internet Explorer go to file >> new session
    2. try to login to the webgui using server name but this time use the webdispacther port:
    http://<server>:<webdisp_port>/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui
Update on the results (if you wish try this).

  • Can not get pass opening screen, help please!!

First off, when I tried to turn of my emac earlier this evening it took a few tries. Then when I went to turn it back on, it got to the opening white screen, with the grey apple in the middle but would not go any further. I tried a few more times, with the same results, white screen, grey apple, no farther.
Any help will be much appreciated, I thank you in advance!!

You can also try to Start Up in Safe Mode, with one important warning: once it gets to the gray screen / Apple logo stage, walk away and leave it be for at least a half hour! When a Mac shuts down improperly (power failure, errors on shutdown, multiple force restarts before completing startup), on next start it will attempt to run a faceless variant of the Repair Disk utility in the background. Depending on the size of the hard drive, the amount stored on it, the processor speed, and the amount if any of damage detected, this can take anywhere from 5 minutes to over 30 minutes. If the process is interrupted and the Mac restarted or shut down, then it tries again from the beginning on the next start. This can obviously put you in a vicious loop if you're not aware of what it's trying to do.
Since the Safe Mode disc repair is faceless, you don't get any immediate feedback as to any errors being turned up. It's better to follow cosmichobo's advice and use the OS X Install disc to run Disk Utility from the Installer menu; that will let you see what's going on. Note that if any errors are reported repaired by Disk Utility/Repair Disk, you should immediately run it again --- it's possible for one disc error to mask others.
Another option would be to boot the Mac into single user mode and use the Unix file system check utility fsck (if you're not adverse to using the Unix command line prompt). Refer to Using Disk Utility and fsck for detailed instructions.

  • How can I get the lock screen to stop lighting up when I get a text message?

I just got the s5 and my screen keeps lighting up every time I get a text. I really just want it to vibrate or make a noise. Is there anyway to stop this feature?

        Hi iluvtomd1,
Congrats on your new, awesome phone! You're asking a great question here. Turning on/off the Screen Lighting option is currently not an option that is available in the phone settings. now iphone asks me to agree to terms and privacy, then it locks up and won't accept my "agree."
goes in a loop and can't get past this screen.  Pls help.  thanks.

Have you tried resetting the device?
Hold down the home and lock buttons until you see an Apple Logo, then release the buttons.
If that doesn't work, you should check to see if you have a backup because you may have to restore your device.

Have you tried to power off and on?  If that doesn't work and the reset didn't work, have you tried connecting to iTunes to see if it is recognized?
If none of this works you probably need to visit an Apple genius bar and have it checked out by the techs.
