How old is it? If it's brand new, the tech specs says it should last "Up to 15 hours of audio playback when fully charged."

The 7 hour battery life is maximum that can be expected with minimal drain, but 3-4 hours either means you are using it very, very hard or the battery is bad. OR the gauge needs calibration, see below.
Turn off WiFi if you are not using it, and dim the display to also save battery power. It also depends on the applications that you are using.
One months is awfully fast for you to lose that much battery time. If the laptop was new, then I would talk to the seller about an exchange, at least exchanging the battery.

My ipod touch battery only lasts 1-2 hours, and even when the brightness is at the lowest, +/- 2 hours. This page says the battery life is 7 hours when listening to music and 4 hours when watching videos. Is this my fault or is my battery not doing good? I'm not listening to music or playing videos, i'm just browsing on the web, browsing in the app store and playing games (sound turned off). What can i do about this? Should I contact Apple? Year-old nano's battery only lasts about 9 hours--normal?

The one-year warranty on my nano expires in about two weeks. The battery only lasts about 9 hours when playing AACs purchased from the iTunes Music Store continuously, with the EQ and backlight turned off.
Not too shabby, but also nowhere near the 14 hours it got when it was new.
My question for those of you who have had warranty repairs for battery problems--would Apple consider 9 hours of battery life "defective" and worthy of a warranty repair or replacement?
Any feedback or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Actually Apple says up to 14 hours. You're doing ok with this because you're getting about 65% or more battery life from the max of 14 hours.
Just to be clear, you can only buy the AppleCare plan during the first 12 months warranty period, so if your iPod is nearing a year old, better be quick.

Don't worry. If something was up, OnyX would have given you proper warnings and recommendations. On your next render, can you set the render logging to Extra per Frame Info? Also, if you don't mind, untwirl the render info and see, which parts it is processing. Either the life info reveals long file read and write times or the render log may reveal odd variations in teh per-frame render times. A common problem for instance with multi-processing are the first few frames being rendered very fast, but then a longer gap occuring inbetween because the program chokes on writing too many files at once. Similar patterns sometimes appear with network setups or - ultimately relevant for you - with RAIDs that use large cache drives. In the latter case often reducing or turning off the harddrive's internal cahe using the vendor's configuration tool can improve things...

- When sleeping the iPod can use wifi and if it has trouble connecting it will keep trying and drain the battery. I leave mine in airplane mode when sleeping. Otherwise it is frequenlty drained like you see on yours.
- The rapid drop whe playing vido seems to indicae that something is wrong.

You can try restoring the iPod. However, it could be that the battery is going bad.

Iphone charging only sometimes

my original iphone has had this charging problem since i bought it in march, i connect it to my MBP or to the charger, and sometimes it just shows the phone as plugged in, but not charging. The phone then drains completely, and needs a charge for about 30 mins, then it shows the phone as fully charged.
I thought apple was going to solve these issues with 2.0 but I guess not, I've seen other phones with this charging problem which leads me to believe this is not just my iPhone.

I only got it Febuary/March this year.

Thats perfectly normal. The 14 hour battery life is for playing music and even with playing music u only get about 10 hours if ur lucky.
i usually watch an hour and a half movie and the battery will be at the red bar. but once its at the red bar it still lasts a while. dont worry its all normal.
the reason it drains so much battery is because the backlight uses alot of power wen ur playing a movie.

IPhone 5 battery only lasts for 3 hours of usage

My iPhone 5 64GB is not working as well as I think it should be. After about 3 hours of usage (according to usage statistics in settings), which is just Facebook and web browsing, and 9 total hours of standby, the battery dies. This is mainly over 4G with medium brightness. Background App Refresh is off, most location services are off, Push emails are off, reduce motion is on. I have tried everything I have found online to try and fix this, but nothing has worked. On top of that, my iPhone was just replaced at an Apple Store, so I'm not really sure what it could be.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
