My iPhone connects to a hotel network but my iPad3 while it shows connected will not connect to the Internet.

First, are you sure that your AirPort Extreme has been configured correctly and is properly connected to your modem?
Begin by telling us how you have things connected and if the Airport Extreme is replacing a previously owned router or is this an entirely new installation?
First be sure that your modem is working and properly connects you to the internet using an ethernet cable directly connected to your laptop. Once you're sure that's working, reset the AirPort to factory defaults by disconnecting it from power and pressing and holding in the small reset button on the back for 15 - 20 seconds while you reconnect it to power. Then turn everything off for 5 minutes. Connect the Airport to your modem with and ethernet cable to the Airport WAN port on the back (check the user guide to make sure you connect the cable to the correct port) then connect a second ethernet cable between the laptop and one of the LAN ports on the AirPort Extreme.
Then power up the modem first, wait 5 minutes and then power up the Airport, wait 5 minutes and finally power up your laptop.
Then run the airport configuration utility from your laptop. Since you're not using an Apple computer, be sure that all of your firewall, and virus blocking and checking software is disabled before you run the airport configuration utility. Once you run the utility, it should detect your AirPort and allow you to use the configuration wizard to set things up.
Check back if you're still having problems.

HP PSC 1350 Series Printer will NOT print from the internet ~ but will print a word document.

I have an HP PSC all-in-one PSC 1350 Series printer.
the operating system is Windows XP to the computer it's USB connected to.
Earlier this week I was having troubles with the WIFI and IT helpers changed setting on the modem and the router.
Still wouldn't work, so a new router is being sent to me.
To use the internet, I currently have the ethernet cord directed connected to the computer.
These past few days the printer worked both printing word documents AND print jobs from the internet.
NOW IT WILL PRINT NOTHING FROM THE INTERNET. (ex: email messages, invoices, statements etc)
I've tried again after restarting the computer, unplugging and restarting the printer and still it won't work.
The tiny printer icon appears briefly in the bottom tool bar, acting like it wants to print, but then nothing happens.
Please advise.

Network Joined.......Will not connect to internet

New to Ipod so please bear with me.
Ive managed to get my Ipod touch to join my wifi network but it won't connect to the internet.
Im getting a padlock symbol next to selected network but i don't understand why it would still be locked if ive entered the password and joined it.
Ive uploaded a couple of pics to show what is happening.
Any help gratefully appreciated.

Here's how I solved my connection issues (I got this from doing online research):
Manually Configure Your Network: From DHCP tab, tap the STATIC tab at the top. You will be presented with 4 fields to fill in:
Field 1 is the IP Address. This address is for your iPod and it needs to be corret inorder to connect to the network. You need to know the address of your router in order to fill this field in. If you have a home network router, chances are your router address is something like 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 (you need to find this in your router's manual). Set your iPod's IP address to something like 192.168.X.150 (X= the 3rd number in your router's address).
Field 2 is the Subnet Mask. Most likely, your Subnet mask will be 255.255.255.0 (as long as your router's address begins with 192.168.X.X).
Field 3 is the Router Address. This address is given to you in your router's user manual. Some manufacturers even have it written on the bottom or back of the router itself. Most likely, it will be either 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 (confirm with your user manual). This address is also called the Default Gateway.
Field 4 is the DNS address. If the above fields are correctly set, these should be determined automatically. However, if they are not, you will need to get this (or these) address(es) from your Internet Service Provider. You may also obtain this information from http://opendns.com (free service).
When I first tried this procedure, I could only receive mail and not send. Later on, I could send but not receive. After a few calls to my ISP (they said they were having problems with the internet) and a lot of entering and re-entering the information, I finally gave up and early the next a.m. I input everything again and all of a sudden I was hooked up!
My ISP never could tell me why I couldn't get a connection.
P.S. The port I used was 25.

Prior to putting a password on my Airport Extreme my laptop pc had access to the internet. With the passwaord it will connect to the base station but will not got to the internet. Help!

I think I have tried everything but it's not working. Sooo I guess there are several other things that I need to do.

If the Speedstream is acting as a router, then the AirPort Extreme must be configured in Bridge Mode to avoid having two routers in series on your network....which would certainly cause IP address conflicts and connection issues.
To configure the AirPort Extreme in Bridge Mode.....
Open AirPort Utility - Click Manual Setup
Click the Internet icon
Connection Sharing = Off (Bridge Mode)

My Siri will not work on the internet. It takes the dictation but disappears when I hit the send button.

Siri works everywhere on my phone except the internet. Siri will input the words of my question but when I hit send the wording disappears. It does not matter what web browser I am using, it all just disappears.

I just read that article and it does not address this situation. I have it all across the board though, not just in Safari.
Siri deletes my dictation when I press “done”. This happens in email, notes, texting, web searches, etc. on iPhone 6 and on iPad Mini 3.
In another post, the rep suggested tapping in the text field instead of pressing "done". I'm going to try that. I just have to get away from here for a bit. (lol)

I converted an album to a slideshow: I exported it, selecting itunes as an export option. A window comes up that says iphoto at the top, but nothing happens. Also, this window will not close with the red button - I have to "force quit" and reopen iphoto

I can't seem to export a slideshow from iPhoto. I go through the export routine, but an iPhoto page comes up with other slideshows I've sent to iTunes, but nothing happens. I've waited, hoping something was happening, but nothing does. Further, once this page is up, you can't click out of it with the red button - to get it off the screen, I have to "force quit".

With Firefox 23 and TabMixPlus 0.4.1.0 installed, an additional box is added to the Tabs options panel that allows 3 options for the tab bar:
*One is to '''Always''' hide the tab bar. I do not know whether future versions of TabMixPlus will remove that option. I have tested in Firefox 23 and it is possible to completely hide the tab bar regardless of the number of tabs open.

Dear Old Bob..I enjoyed that! I and thanks so much ...I would have done it if I could have done it but I was blocked by Photoshop at every stage! Thankfully my own IT Guru and friend came to the rescue remotely last night and has down-loaded it. But it took him quite a bit of time.
As XP is faded out, there will be an awful lot of people like me complaining.
But truth is my problems are only at a start! About 30 prints (some not yet on my 'blog' (juliamatcham.wordpress.com) all have varying settings which I have noted. Everything depends on these settings.
All are Apple RGB (although my computer is a PC) and they were all set for my printer Epson Photo 1800. Also they were set at varying settings...Standard or Vivid 1.5, 2.5 whatever suited the design.
These settings appear not to exist on CS2 which is a nightmare for me as each print was carefully proofed with a great deal patience and at some expense as in the end one has to use expensive paper even for proofing.
If you have any hints for how to translate these old settings...I would kiss your feet!
Just looking through how things work, I can't understand why I can't change my first printing option to landscape ...everything esle so far seems comprehensible.

After a crash, I reinstalled FF, but it looks different. Bookmarks button will not stay on the screen. Thus, I cannot get to the Library, or Restore. I need to restore Bookmarks from external hard drive. I found backups but how does Firefox find them?

I have found 2 versions of my old bookmarks in my backed up data. One is under Owner/AppData/Local.../bookmarkbackup/bookmarks-2011-10-13 , etc. The other is under Firefox Profile/Cache/E7C5F7B4d01. I don't find these places in the new Firefox program just installed.

Have you tried to drag the folder that contains your music files. Locate the folder, while iTunes is open, drag the folder to the Library icon, this may help.

I can get on the internet with my laptop using my wireless network at home but I can not get on the internet using my ipad. The wi-fi setting show a connection on my ipad but I can not pull up the internet. Any ideas?

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

Yesterday I updated my Aiport Extrems firmware, all configuration is the same as before, and all my macs connects fine to internet.My iPhone connect fine to the network, but will not connetc to the internet. In my neighbours network there is no problems with internet connection.
It is weard that an Apple product no more fit to another Apple product...or what?

Yes, I did. I have a linksys wireless G rougher, and an optimum online cable modem. The cable modem is hooked upto the roughter. I plugger a cord into the roughter, to the computer and that didnt work. I plugged the laptop stright into the cable modem. The modem says there is activity, but it still wont connect. What is important is the wireless. It says that it is connected to my network, but will not go on the internet. I tired setting it up with the progam installed, but when it asks for my network and password, it says that it is inaccurate. I really really need this to work as soon as I can. If you could help me in any way, please do so.

Close your iTunes,
Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 n above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:

Airport after 10.4.2 Will Not Connect after Sleep

After my iBook G4 goes to sleep it will not reconnect to the internet.
It shows connection.
It shows me the IP.
It will not allow me to do anything online.
I have to quit all internet prorams mail, safari, firefox etc...
Then I have to reset the location over and over and try until it works. Sometimes right off the bat sometimes it takes 10 minutes. This is completely frustrating since even the network diagnostic is showing internet, ISP, etc.
I've rebuilt my keychain.
I've rebuilt the WEP password
I've changed my computer name to be one word no spaces.
I need help! My wife cannot use this computer if it won't connect without interaction. I never had this issue before 10.4.2 was installed.

I created a new location based on the info in the link you provided.
It worked.
Now, the iMac G5 rejoins the network automatically after sleep or restart.
