Sounds like you activated one of the features of accessibility. Go to Settings, General, Accessibility, turn off Invert colors. Also check under Triple click to see if that is what is selected and you can turn that off as well.

iTunes only keeps one backup, every new backup replaces the old one, only backups used to restore from are not overwritten and marked with a time stamp.
If you can't find any other backup in iTunes/Edit/Preferences/Devices, your contact info's are gone. Only if you included the backup folder in your computer backup routine, you would be able to restore the old backup folder containing the latest backup at that time.

There is a setting in the phone that allows you to choose whether or not to synce contacts from FB into you phone... it seems you have it set to sync... the setting is in Settings > Facebook then toggle the Contants selector to OFF

It was your Yahoo email account that was hacked, which is why the spam was sent from your account, or more lilely spoofed to appear to be from your account (actually sent from the spammer's email). This is common with Yahoo email which has been easily hacked. If you ever sent any emails to the people who received the spam, their email address's are easily found by the hackers.
As far as your Contact list on your iPhone, the only way it can be hacked into is if the phone was ever jailbroken. OTOH, if you sync your contacts with social media like Fakebook and Twits, your contacts are long in the wild.

Recently I bought 2 iphones one for me and the other for my wife. I was an iphone4 user, so I restored everything from my iphone4 to iphone5 via itunes. At the same time, I also restored my iphone4 information to my wife iphone5. Then I renamed her iphone5 in a different name. She then deleted her contact list in her iphone5, but everything she did was synced on my iphone5 automatically. Simply, my iphone5 contact list was deleted.

Set up different iCloud accounts with different IDs on each phone to keep you contacts and other iCloud data separate. Continue to share the same ID on both phones for iTunes and App stores (it does not need to be the same ID as the one used for iCloud.)

Transfering exchange contacts to my iphone contact list?

I have an exchange account I need to delete off my phone, but I want to save some of the contacts to my iphone contact list before I delete the exchange account, is this possible? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

The ideal method would be to export them as VCF files using a computer.
If you only have access to the Server on your iPhone, you can individually open each one and Share it to yourself by text or email.

The easiest way that I have found is to open Outlook, go back to Itunes & select your phone.
Choose the 'Info' tab at the top of the screen & tick the box marked 'Sync contacts with' & choose Outlook from the drop down box.

How to move iPhone contact list with custom ringtones to OS X server Contacts?

I have recently setup a new Mac Pro, Mid 2012, running Mavericks OS X Server. I was previously syncing through iTunes on Snow Leopard, 10.6...
Due to the changes in Mavericks WRT iTunes address book syncing, I want to setup Contacts in Server, as I do not want to use iCloud. I tried using the Address Book sync on my MacBook Pro, but that doesn't appear to save any custom ringtone data. I setup Contacts in Server & I moved the current address book to Mavericks, but dragging the contacts into the Server list in Contacts generates warnings, "Some contacts could not be copied to the server" and then sometimes starts duplicating the groups and contacts. The system log has some errors that seem related (system & user munged):

AddressBook-v22.abcddb, does exists, T/S of 22:44. Maybe the above is actually a warning that it created the file? ... except the Failed adding account doesn't sound good.

How to does one move or import iPhone contact list with custom ringtones to OS X server Contacts? ... and will Contacts save/preserve the ringtone settings?

lsof is the standard tool for listing open files, although I'm not quite sure it'll do what you want.
It will list every open file used by every process on the machine, including many you don't expect. I don't know how it will present files opened by network users - whether they'll appear as owned by the file sharing process or not at all. Definitely one to try.
