My Iphone Cracked It's Screen and I Was Wondering About Replacment
Hello, some time ago my sister got her iphone and cracked it. She told me she didn't know exactly how though. It still works perfectly, but it has cracks on the screen.
She has now given it to me and I was wondering how much a replacement would cost in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Also, what requirements do I need to replace it.

I have an iPhone 4s that is still covered under the AppleCare Protection Plan. I have a pretty significant crack across the screen and wanted to know if I have to pay any additional fees to replace the screen or replace the entire phone.
I was hesitant to purchase this protection plan at first about $70, but the customer service agent reassured me that there were no deductables and thats why I bought into it. But now that I look around on the support site, I see that it says that there are up to two incidents covered for a service fee of $49. No, you were not duped, you were simply not completely informed. Whether that was a result of them not sharing all the information or you only hearing what you wanted, no one here knows. -

Apple will exchange your iPod for a refurbished one for this price. Price depends upon model and capacity. They do not fix yours.

In order to allow it to be used on a different carrier, the phone was hacked or jailbroken. An unauthorized modification was made to the phone. That modification has damaged the phone. You can not get support for it here or from Apple. -

If the iPhone is new and you take it apart, kiss the warranty goodbye.
Are you using a case that may be blocking or partially blocking the iPhone's proximity sensor? If you are using a case, remove the case before the next call to see if the same occurs without the case. If not, get another case. -
My iphone 5c went black screen and it still can cut on and off and it went black screen when i was on facetime with a friend and could still talk to them perfectly fine. Leave the USB cable connected to your computer, but NOT your phone, itunes running, press & hold the home button while connecting the USB cable to your dock connector, continue holding the home button until you see “Connect to iTunes” on the screen. You may now release the home button. iTunes should now display that it has detected your phone in recovery mode, if not quit and reopen iTunes. If you still don’t see the recovery message repeat these steps again. iTunes will give you the option to restore from a backup or set up as new.
