My iphone doesn´t play sound on logitech pure-fi anywhere

Hi,
my iphone 4 recently quit playing music over the logitec Pure-Fi Anywhere Speakers. It did before but it doesn´t anymore. My husbands iphone still cooperates so it can´t be the speakers who are broken. My iphone still plays the sound on it´s own speakers but it won´t play them loud on the logitech speakers. I had this problem before but after a while it worked again ... is it a button I need to press or something else I am missing?

Reset your iPhone while it is connected to the PureFi: Hold down the home and sleep buttons, ignore the red Off slider, wait for the Apple logo and let go.

Music & videos also play with the headphones in, but if I want to watch a video or listen to music without headphones it will not make a sound, even though these things display they are playing on the screen.... does anyone have any ideas.

Have you looked at the Ring/Silent switch on the side of the device? It may have been moved to the Silent position.

I had major issues with the iPhone 4s battery, however it’s resolved.
The tech who set the phone up at the Apple store did so with little training.
if you have a mobile me account. First go and move all your data to the cloud by going on your computer and logging in at me.com/move. The cloud has replaced mobile me, so there is no need for those two accounts
Also make sure that for any of your email accounts you set them up to fetch, not push. My tech person set them all to have the email servers push data to the phone. The new iphone4s antenna is extremely strong so it will continually try to access stuff that is pushed–***** a lot of battery life doing this. It makes it worse if you have exchange 2010 accounts. Something about changes made to exchange really suck battery life from devices that access such accounts.

If the phone has ever gotten wet it may be damaged. It may also have dirt or a bent pin in the dock connector or the earphone jack. Try cleaning the dock connector and inspecting it with a magnifying glass. Try inserting and removing the earphone plug several times. If you have restored it and that did not fix the problem damage is the most likely cause.

Not so much a bug, but a difference in behavior from the iPods.
In the iPod, you can make a playlist under Music->Playlist and it can contain both audio and video files. It will play the audio files fine, then the audio-only of the video files in the list. Having videos in a music playlist seems like a bug, but this "feature" allows you to just hear audio of video files if you desire (like listening to a movie without running the video screen).
If you go in to Video->Playlists instead, you play audio, then switch to video when it hits a video item in the list.
On the iPhone, the concept of Video Playlist is unavailable, only a playlist via TV Shows. So, I can't do it like I've been doing it for the past year or so on my iPod with Video.
I'm working on workarounds right now. I tried toggling all the vidcasts to "TV Show" video type, so they can be added to a TV Show playlist, and that sorta-works but isn't graceful (if I can make it work, I'll provide an iTunes script to do this for us).
I also found out by downloading the podcasts (check them off specifically) they can be made to show up in the video section, but just having them in an Audio Playlist isn't enough.

My Logitech Pure-Fi anywhere 2 is not working with my iPhone 4

I got my Logitech Pure-Fi anywhere 2 just under a year ago and now when I plug my iPhone 4 into it the sound only comes out of the iPhone speaker, It will charge but the sound doesn't work with it.

I don't think this is a malfunction. Since the iPhone emits radio signals it can distort the audio signal to the speakers and cause a buzz sound. By putting the iPhone into Airplane Mode it stops transmitting and you will hear a cleaner audio signal through the speakers.
The message you are getting is most likely a feature to improve sound.

IPod Touch after OS 3.0 no longer works with Logitech Pure-Fi Anywhere 2

I have the iPod Touch 2nd gen with OS 3.0, and I get no sound at all through speakers of the Logitech Pure-Fi Anywhere 2.
3.5mm line-in jack works fine, so the speakers will work. An older Nano in the Pure-Fi works fine, so the dock connector works okay. and the Touch worked fine with the speakers before upgrading to OS 3.0. Now I get nothing at all coming through the Pure-Fi Anywhere 2 with Touch and OS 3.0.
Tried resetting both devices according to the respective manufacturer's instructions. Still no luck.
Apple, please address this in the next OS release.

Another one here with 2nd gen ipod touch. Immediately after the 3.0 upgrade, my wifi can't get mail. Sending works, as dose Net access, but all my mail accounts no longer come in seamlessly as they did before the upgrade. One does intermittently, but even that one has failed more often than not. Friends are having the same problem. Reset/restore has done nothing. Apple Store Genius also tried to no avail. Help, Apple! Will a 3.0.1 fix the bug?

IPhone randomly stops playing sound out of iPod docks?

I recently plugged my iPhone 4 iOS6.0.1 (the new update recently put out by apple) and it has stopped playing sound out of any iPod dock I plug it into.
It plays sound normally out of the speakers and charges while on the dock. Has anyone had any problems similar and any solutions?
Also I have restored my whole iPhone this morning and it still has the same problem. My husband doesn't have this problem and he has the iPhone 3.
Is this a bug with the new iOS6.0.1 and is Apple going to put out a new update anytime soon to fix it? Or do I need to send my phone away.

It can't be 3 years old since the 5G iPod was first introduced in Oct 2012
- Try cleaning out/blowing out the headphone jack. Try inserting/removing the plug a dozen times or so. There is a little switch in the headphone jack that disconnects the speaker when the headphone jack is inserted.
Try the following to rule out a software problem
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store. Seems you have a bad headphone jack.

If not under warranty Apple will exchange your iPod for a refurbished one for this price. They do not fix yours.

My IPhone 4 doesnt play any sound when I'm playing a game or any app but when i play music it works fine. How do i fix this?

Ive had my phone 5c for just over a year now and recently it wont play sound on music and videos on certain occasions. i have done all the updates possible to do on it and this has made no difference. tried turning it on/off and that doesnt work. any ideas/?

IPhone no longer plays sound/music thru earphones

My iPhone will not play any sound (music, podcasts) through my earphones. The speakers on my iPhone work but not the earphone piece. I have tried several earphones but none of them work. It's as it my iPhone does not register them. It continues to play sound via the speakers even when earphones are plugged in. Do you think the iPhone is broken or did I do something to turn off the earphones.

How do I check if the volume setting is on. I thought the volume button was the same for both.
Everything was working fine on my iPhone yesterday and then suddenly today the earphones don't work.
I wonder how much a new earphone jack costs.

I am actually having the same issue. In Settings, lock sounds and keyboard clicks switches are set to "on" but that does not resolve it. iTunes, videos, and game audio (in addition to lock sounds and keyboard clicks) will not work through the speaker, but all work when headphones are plugged in. Ringtones and text tones function normally.

My iPhone doesn't play my music

I just syncronized my iPhone 4 to iOS 7.03 as it was suggested when i looked for new updates. However, since i did the sync, i can't play the music.
As soon as i enter to the app it starts to pass all my songs one at a time but it takes almost two seconds with each song until it finishes with the last song (it seems like if it was recognizing all the songs), however when it gets to the last song it starts all over again and i cant play any, i have restarted my iPhone several times i've closed the app but i don't know what else i can do. Can someone please tell me what to do?

My repaired itouch doesn't play sounds

Today, I just got a repair for my itouch that had a ******** screen touch that didn't respond. I never got a new one for the repair. It looked "new" but it waa actually something that has been fixed from a crappy one. Great, now it doesn't play a ******* sound without the earphones. What am I supposed to do now? 5G iPod doesn't play sound

I have a 5G 30GB iPod that just today stopped playing and sound. It still lets you scroll through the menus and also shows its playing a song, but you cannot hear anything. It won't play sound through the headphone jack, and I also have an Alpine CD Player with the iPod direct connect cable, and that does not work as well. I reset the iPod today and that did not do anything, and I also tried restoring it and that did not fix the problem as well. I contacted Apple support and found out it would cost $130 to fix my iPod, but the lady I talked to could not tell me what is exactly wrong with the iPod because she had never heard of this problem before. I'm basically looking to hopefully fix it myself since I dont want to shell out $130 to repair it, but probably will give in if I cannot fix this myself.

mine does the same thing...i got it replaced once under warranty and they gave me a "new" one which began to malfunction 3 months after i got it :\ It plays the music all staticy and when i took it in they told me nothing was wrong with it...but it doesn't play and ive changed the head phones and reset it and run all the diagnostic tests...needless to say im very dissappointed with apple right now! what makes it worse is when i took it in the ipod wasn't even registered to me which means they gave me someone else's ipod which had been replaced! but since it was out of warranty when i found out it was 140 to get a new one if they found something wrong with it. so idk but this is my 2nd 5G ipod and i think its a bug that is in all of them.
