Un-sync all your music to remove it from the device, then restart (hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until you see the apple, then let go). Now re-sync your music.

I have had this Mac since 2009. Yesterday, I had to replace the Hard Drive and took it to an apple Store for some work. They reloaded Lion on here for me. Never had any problems with the CD player prior to that. Worked like A CHAMP!!!!!
It is having a hard time reading some music CDs and a couple movies.
One of my music CDs was released with a black data/read surface. I was able to rip it to iTunes before, now I can't.
Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated. Is there anything I need to know?Zap the PRAM and Reset the SMC, then try again. Since the superdrive reads some, that's not the issue; look for dirt, smudges, and scratches.

I have an iphone 4, using IOS 5.0.1 and have always synced it to my laptop (windows vista, 32 bit). I have recently bought a new desktop computer (Windows 7, 64 bit) and after putting it off for a while, i've decided to bite the bullet and sync my iphone with my new computer. I have already authorised my itunes account on my new computer, and i don't mind loosing music. I am more concered though about the risk of loosing my text messages and photos on my phone.
Could anyone please tell me if i will loose the messages and photos from my phone when syncing to a new computer.

Chris.When you connect the iPhone to sync with the new computer, a number of things will happen. If the new computer/iTunes does not contain any music, then yes, you will receive a prompt saying this iPhone is synced to another library, and if you continue, you will lose your music. However, you risk losing a number of other things, such as apps, contacts and calendar data. When you ask about photos, any photos that you have on the iPhone that were synced from the previous computer would also be lost. You need to save the photo folder from the old laptop and transfer that to the new desktop. You also need to sync the contacts and calendar to the same supported application that you were using in the past, such as Outlook, unless you are using an outside web-based sync, such as Google. Also, when you first connect the iPhone, it will make a backup, or at least make sure that it does before you attempt to sync, or you will not have a backup of some of the other things, such as mail settings, SMS, and the contents of the Camera Roll. I would import the photos from the camera roll to the new computer before trying to do anything else in iTunes.

ITunes don't recognize my musics. Why??
So, i changed my number these days (dont know if its conected), and when i connect my iphone (3GS) in the PC, the itunes keep running as always but when i go check the musics that were supposed do be on the phone (you know, delete some ****** musics), they all gone, but the espace occupied by then still there as the number of musics.
So, i can still listen to the musics in my iphone but i can't access in iTunes, so i can't delete, just add new musics.
Someone can help me, even if just know how to delete the existing songs whitout iTunes.
PS: another softwares like MediaMonkey, SharePod doesn't wok too.I beg you, I made a mistake in my previous text.

If running iOS 5.0 or later, on your phone, and the latest version of iTunes, you can re-download your purchased content anytime you want. So, if this music was obtained through iTunes, delete whatever you want. On your phone, swipe left-to-right across the song/album, hit the delete button. You can re-download whenever you like. If the music was ripped from CD's, you can still delete directly on your phone, then sync it back to your phone(it will remain in your iTunes library). Or, you can use iTunes Match & re-download to your phone anytime you want.

My 16gb iPhone 4S keep tell me that my storage is almost full and I don't have enough space for any upgrades. I don't have any music or videos on my phone. I have updated my iPhone 3Gs to the latest software in an attempt to iron out a problem with a new telephone network provider (Tmobile). I had backed up my phone before I did this. Now I have lost my music and apps. I can't sync the phone with my Mac, I can't re-download from iTunes as the phone says I don't have any music or apps available to re-download although it all shows up on my Mac. The music and app content cannot be restored when I try to restore the phone from the back up I madeon my Mac. Help!
Working on that now. I'm just getting frustrated that everytime I run updates for the phone I end up with tech problems that I have to spend time solving as opposed to updates that actually improve my usage. Now I will once again get to spend hours reloading my phone all for updates that didn't affect my usage in the first place.

I just purchased a new iphone 4S and I'm trying to loan some music from itunes. I keep getting a message that says not enough space on my phone. I checked my phone and I have 5.1G available. I deselected all the songs on my itunes to try and get it to sync and I keep getting the same message. Any tips?

Resolution
Try disconnecting and reconnecting your device, then syncing again to solve this issue.
Orphaned files may remain on your iOS device if it is physically disconnected while syncing music, podcasts, videos, or photos. This can prevent iTunes from syncing the iOS device on subsequent sync sessions. When this happens, the Capacity indicator in iTunes may report a large amount of "Other" disk usage for the iOS device. To resolve this issue:
1. Turn off the music or photo sync option in iTunes for the device.
2. Click Apply to sync the changes to the device.
3. Turn the music and photo sync options for the device on again.
4. Click Apply again to try to sync the device to iTunes.
- If the 'Not enough free space' alert appears, continue to step 5.
5. Turn off the automatic syncing functions for the iOS device. To do this:
- Select the iOS device from the iTunes window and click the Summary tab.
- Deselect "Automatically sync when this device is connected" and select the "Sync only checked songs and videos" checkbox.
- Click Apply to sync the changes to the device.
- Reduce the amount of data that is being synced to the device and resync the device. For example, if syncing your Music library exceeds the memory capacity of the device, choose "Selected playlists" to transfer rather than "All songs and playlists" under the Music tab in iTunes.
If the 'Not enough free space' alert appears, continue to step 6.
6. Restore using iTunes.

Can you update CS6 apps if you have the CC apps installed too?
I saw the Creative cloud menu item with 8 updates for the CS6 apps I left installed after downloading the CC versions. I get errors when trying to update the CS6 apps. Are you not abile to have both CC and CS6 installed?
