My iphone fell down and now the home button is not working well and the phone is making calls itself?
i already updated my phone and download he latest version of itunes. The Siri is turned off and the voice control appers alone and start makiing calls itself. please help me!!
It's pretty clear your Home button is becoming easily stuck in the active position, causing Siri to activate and, based on what it hears, make calls.
You need to hand the phone in and get it fixed. Shouldn't cost you too much. Try to find an Apple Authorised Repair Centre in the first instance. Follow this link and choose your country to see if there's one nearby.
HTH.

Then it looks like a Visit to an Apple Store or AASP (Authorized Apple Service Provider) is required... Be sure to make an appointment first... -
I updated my iphone 4 to ios 5.1.1, now the home button is not working
I have recently update my iphone 4 to ios 5.1.1, now the home button is not working and the voice control keeps popping up.
I have restored a lot of times and i had calibrated my iphone a lot of times too.I have heard from multiple friends who have Iphone 4 who have done this lastest update and have all had problems.
I think I will wait to update mine.
Try the above help and if that doesn't work then check on the Apple website -
I have bought a IPhone 4 from Malaysia, my home button is not working. I want to replace the phone under warranty but all service centres mention that its country specific and I need to get it replaced only at malaysia. Can anyone guide me what to do????
The iPhone warranty is not international and as you purchased in
Malaysia the warranty is only valid in Malaysia
You could try taking to an iPhone Authorised service provider
in India but there have been many similar posts to yours
and I am not aware of them assisting with an iPhone from
outside India -

My iPhone 4 worked fine last night. When I woke up this morning, it had shut off and will not turn back on. I looked up the HOME+SLEEP key solutions, but my home button does not work. Any suggestions?
Try a reset: Hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until you see the apple, then let go.

The home button is not working on my iphone 5 - is there a way to troubleshoot that issue?
the home button is not working on my iphone 5, its does click and acts normal but doe not do what it is supposed to do
You have identified the problem. If you have Warranty or AppleCare coverage, make Genius reservation and take or send to Apple for resolution. Troubleshoot. When iPhone 5 is open, the home button contacts are present right there. With volt meter placed on home flex you can see if pressing home button completes the circuit. You can bridge the dock home button contacts and see if it actually causes response in the iPhone. If not dock or its contacts are faulty or logic board is faulty.

My home button isn't working well so i went to my service provider to ask about the problem. They advised me to update my iPhone to iOS 5 but the problem is no matter what i do, there is always an error. What should I do?
If you are having Issues with downloading iOS 5....
Try temporarily disabling your firewall and antivirus software and try again...

The home button is not working on my iPhone 4? How do I fix this problem?
Make a Genius Bar appointment at your nearest Apple Store and do an out of warranty replacement for $149 USD, or use a third party repair site such as http://www.iresq.com, or replace it yourself, http://www.ifixit.com.

my ipod has just black screen and the home button is not working. what will i do? help please!
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
When it says place the iPodin recovery mode use this prgram.

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Hello ianred14,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
For more information on this, take a look at:
iOS: Forgotten passcode or device disabled after entering wrong passcode
http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1212
Connect the device to the computer with which you normally sync and open iTunes.
Note: If iTunes asks you to enter the passcode, try another computer that you have synced with. Otherwise, go to "If you have never synced your device with iTunes, or you do not have access to a computer" section below.
If the device is still disabled, or if iTunes does not automatically sync your device, sync the device with iTunes.
If you have chosen to encrypt your backup, it will contain the passcode. Disable backup encryption before restoring from backup. Learn more about iOS backups in iTunes.
When the backup and sync is complete, select Restore from Backup and choose the most recent backup of your device.
Best of luck,

my home button will not work properly... I have to hold it down several times for it to go to the home screen
I would try a restore just to see if it could be something software related, but if that doesn't work I would recommend taking to an Apple Store to see if it is a serious hardware issue and if it is, assuming you're in warranty, then they would be able to replace your phone.
