If all else fails: Place your device into recovery (DFU-Device Firmware Upgrade) mode:
Follow these steps to place your iOS device into recovery mode. If your iOS device is already in recovery mode, you can proceed immediately to step 6.
1. Disconnect the USB cable from the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, but leave the
other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds

I havent touched my Iphone 4s in ages (about a month). I came back to it the other day. I forgot the password, so naturally it disabled it and is telling me to connect to iTunes. In the meantime, i had got a new computer and didnt back up the itunes files (because im an idiot). I changed my pass code and couldn't remember the new pass code. After several failed attempts, my iPhone has been disabled. What do I do?
If you forgot (or don't know) your passcode, restore the device from backup on the last computer it was synced with when the passcode was turned on... this will remove the passcode. If you do not have access to the last computer it was synced with, you will have to force it into recovery mode & restore as a new device.

I have just done a reset on my ipad. In the settings "find my ipad " is enabled. I received an email saying "Find My iPhone has been disabled on Richard's iPad." I went back into settings and confirmed that find my iphone is enabled. How do I correct this?
If you login to your account on http://www.icloud.com is the iPad listed in the Find My iPhone part of your account ? If not then try toggling it 'off' and back 'on' on your iPad

If it is a phishing email then forward it to Apple : [email protected] , and then delete it.
