My iPhone has been stolen and iCloud shows the street it's on but the police won't do anything if it's not exact. How exact is it and can I prove it?
The phone is in a block of flats so the police won't do anything. Is there a way to prove or zoom in to validate the EXACT location?

I'm afraid the IMEI number won't do you any good: its principal value is in enabling your service provider to block the phone.
In order for your iPhone to be locatable you must have enabled the 'Find My Phone' app on it prior to losing it, and it must be on, not wiped, and able to connect to a network. Unless all these conditions are true there is no way of locating it. -
My Phone was stolen last night. It has been taken poff line so it is untrackable so there is no chance of getting it back. This software suggests that the notes don't exist.
However they do. I can see the notes in a .TXT file but they are burried in thousands of other keystrokes and illedgible.
We have used SQlite Database browser and can see a a few words from each note and the title of the note without all the script but can't access any more than that as clean text.

There is little you can do while it is offline. You should use iCloud.com to set your device to lost mode. Report the theft to the police.

The iPhone doesn't save contacts to the SIM card so I don't know what good knowing the SIM card number would do you. If you have no back up of the contacts, they are lost.

I think I am following -- I was able to upload to my iPhoto and all photos and videos are there that is a plus! I tried to create an Event in my iPhoto and put all of my photos in that event but for some reason, now my iTunes it not recognizing that Event in my iPhoto. It is not allowing me to import just that event at the moment but I may be doing something wrong. At least all of my pics and vids are in iPhoto so that is a plus and I know they are at least saved somewhere. You can only restore the backup to another iOS device. You can't download it to your computer. Also be aware that Apple reserves the right to delete iCloud backups after 180 days of inactivity so make sure you do this before that. Also, you can't restore camera roll photos from a backup to an iPad. They would have to be restored to another iPhone, or iPod touch.

A "black list" is the term used for a carrier preventing a cell phone that is reported lost or stolen by the owner from being activated with the carrier. Yes it is a legiitimate thing that some carriers provide but not all. Contact Orange and inquire if they do. -
