My iPhone has random P0rn ads on "encyclopedia dramatica". I'm really scared I think it's Adware? Has anybody found a solution to this?

Before you ask, yes I have seen sexual content. But I've never downloaded anything, and I haven't jail broken my iPhone.
They appear only on the website: "Encyclopedia Dramatica". They usually appear where regular ads appear, I opened my laptop to make sure it wasn't normal. Which it wasnt. Please, I'm really scared, if anybody has a fix please let me know.

Nothing can be installed on a non-hacked/jailbroken iPhone from a website such as adware/spyware/malware. You might try deleting all Safari history/cookies/data.

This seems to be an annoying part of the newer OS. When I first got my Pearl in 2008, I didn't have that occur. However once the OS got upgraded, and now with the Tour, it seems like that is the way it works. Not clear to me why they would have thought this is preferable.

Firefox is causing my imac screen to go blank (crash) and I have to restart. Most of the time its random, but recently it did it everytime I finished listening to an audio file online. Is there a solution for this?

Firefox is causing my imac screen to go blank & I have to restart. It's been happening randomly for weeks now. I haven't been able to tie an action that causes it. Firefox is open while I work in other adobe software. Recently it has done it every time the audio file finished that I'm listening to online and that makes me think it's tied to Firefox. Is there something I can do to fix this? For now, I am going to quit firefox while I work and see if that doesn't improve my situation for now.

Does it still happen if you disable all plugins?
Did it start happening after a Firefox update or a plugin update?

My Iphone was bricked when i woke up one day . It was showing restore screen so i restored it but while restoration it showed (-1) error. Is There any method to resolve this problem.

The restoration process struck at baseband upgrade and restoration process ends with -1 error.

I just tried to restore my first generation iPad and got the following message:

has anyone else had this and found a wasy to bring the iPad back to life?
I have tried all the trouble shooting ideas that iTunes led me to... very sad...

Try and force your iPad into Recovery Mode
1. Turn off iPad
2. Connect USB cable to computer only
3. Press and hold the Home button down and connect the docking end of cable to iPad
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect To iTune" screen
5. Release the Home button
6. Open iTune
7. You should see "iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode"
8. Use iTune to restore iPad
Note: You need to be patient and repeat the above many times.

The time listed under "date modified" is incorrect. I've tried doing what this article suggests but it isn't working. At first, the "Restore Defaults" button was greyed out under both the Date and Time tabs (System Prefs>Language&Region>Advanced). I changed a parameter in each tab and was then able to use the Restore Defaults button. However, this hasn't solved my problem. Does anyone have an alterternate suggestion or fix for this problem?

Has anyone found a solution to the issue of default email account on iPhone continually changing?

I am seeing an irritating problem with the default mail account, calendar and contacts list on my iPhone 4.
Every so often (I think it happens randomly after syncing or even just connecting the iPhone to my iMac without syncing) I notice that some or all of my default email account, calendar and contacts list have changed away from my desired default (which is my Exchange account).
The iPhone is running iOS 4.3.5 (8L1) and I'm using iTunes 10.4.1 on my iMac.
I found this discussion: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/1639451 dating back 2 years to the days of iOS 2.1 without any solution. Googling hasn't helped me find any answers yet.
I have 5 accounts set up on the iPhone - a MobileMe "Find my phone" account that's only used for that purpose, not email, a GMail account, a couple of vanilla IMAP accounts and my main, Exchange 2010-based account that I use for mail, contacts and calendar.
Most frequently after a change I find that the default email has switched to the GMail account, the calendar and contacts lists have switched to my iPhone and most of my Exchange account mail folders are empty and have to re-sync when I tap on them.
I know from Googling that other people have been seeing similar issues.
Has anyone found a workaround or solution?

This happens to me too. Normally when it is off, a few minutes after it turns off it randomly vibrates. I have an iPhone 5 32GB Black.

24" Cinema display is flickering every 30 seconds or so. Has anyone found a solution?

I have a 2009 Power Mac tower with a 24" cinema display also 2009. About a year ago the display started flickering, like it was turning on and off. I've got a duel display set up and the other one (older acrylic 20") works fine. I've checked the cords, updated to the latest soft wear, at least I think I have. I see others having the same issue. Has anyone found a solution? This is really annoying when trying to do graphics work. Any help would be much appreciated

I have restored my ipod many times, yet I still can't back it up because the "session has failed" and error 54. Does anybody know how to fix this?

I have restored it many times, even in recovery mode, but it still comes up with "iTunes can't backup this ipod because the session has failed," yet it was still plugged in. Why are you posting in this forum about what occured with an independent service provider? How is is at all relevant to Apple?? In fact, service by any person or business not authorized by Apple voids any waranty.

Iphone has randomly been bricking

For some reason my iphone on random occasions produces a black screen almost like the phone has been locked excpet no buttons work and the only way to reboot it to plug the phone into a power source. Another odd thing the phone does sometimes when it gets into brick mode is I plug it in to the power the phone doesnt even reboot the screen just flashes white and comes back to where I was such as the homescreen without a reboot. I have tried a full restore and it seemed to have helped for awhile but then the issue reoccurred. Does any know if this is a common issue and if its due to hardware or software?

Was the phone ever back up to iCloud?
