how can I set icloud to not download documents to my iphone?

My iPhone has not backed up to iCloud in 44 weeks.
This seems to be because you don't have enough room, have you been to settings > iCloud > Storage & Back Up > Manage.... and looked up what is taking up the room and how big your next back would be.
I noticed my PhotoStream did not appear on the Home screen
Photo Stream isn't one of the features of iCloud.com

Too little Memory

Hello, in trying to install Tiger in my G4, it got stuck and wouldn't move past
the 'install' sequence. I then tried to do a Disk Warrier, which installation was held up by "too little memory". Since I don't have much on this computer, and only recently installed 10.2.8 + Classic, it seemed odd. Also it has used 3.5 GB out of 19.1 GB. (Memory 128) Then I discovered on the startup disk, that I have
5 different 'Classic' applications! I think I should get rid of 4 of them, which are labled 'previous System Folder', 'previous SF 1', etc. Should I do that, and how can I trash the unnecessary installations?
Is this why it doesn't have enough memory?

FifthWheel is correct.
The term "memory" is not used in messages to refer to space available on the hard drive. "Memory" means RAM, and, by extension, Virtual Memory in its various forms. Getting rid of software on the hard drive will not change the memory situation at all.
The message you cite indicates a lack of RAM in the machine - and, if you in fact do have only 128MB of physical RAM ("physical" means the total amount in the form of RAM modules), Tiger can not install. Earlier versions of OSX could limp with 128MB of physical RAM, but Tiger requires a minimum of 256MB of physical RAM.
If you want to make effective use of Tiger, and also need to be able to use Classic occasionally, I would suggest upping the installed RAM to at least 512MB.
More RAM is better. Depending upon which model G4 you have, it can hold at least 1.0GB (1024MB) of RAM; some models can hold 1.5GB (1536MB) of RAM, and others as much as 2.0GB (2048MB) of RAM.
Discarding old Previous System Folders (Classic installs) is not a bad idea, but it is not critical for the installation of Tiger. You have used but 3.5GB of a drive sized at 19GB, which leaves 15.5GB available. The allowance for Tiger is about 8GB (3GB for the actual install, plus 5GB left unused for OSX to use as swap space, etc.), so you have plenty of space on the drive.

You need to sign into the old account on your computer.

Your old ID connects to an icloud account containing all your data (email, contacts, etc.) If you then use a different ID, you will connect to a different account, which results in losing all your "apple" data, like emails, contacts, calendars, etc.
However, Apple IDs are also used to connect to an itunes store account, with is different. You can keep using the old itunes store ID to keep all your purchases (but if you change to a different ID, you will lose all purchased items) and use the new ID for icloud (but losing emails, contacts, etc. from the old account).

I think I am following -- I was able to upload to my iPhoto and all photos and videos are there that is a plus! I tried to create an Event in my iPhoto and put all of my photos in that event but for some reason, now my iTunes it not recognizing that Event in my iPhoto. It is not allowing me to import just that event at the moment but I may be doing something wrong. At least all of my pics and vids are in iPhoto so that is a plus and I know they are at least saved somewhere. Just for some reason, my iTunes it not locating the event that I created with only those photos.

Also, I had no clue that my iCloud could be backed up via cellular data! However, is this a new feature with the most updated iOS?? Unforutnatly I am like 2 iOS updates behind because I don't have enough storage on my phone. I still get the notification that my phone needs to be plugged in and connected to wifi in order to back up to the cloud :-(
How can I sync using USB? Right now when i click on the info tab for my iPhone in my iTunes this is the answer that I get -- I am a little unclear as to what it means.

Too much memory & Time used during data save.

The attached code is designed to run in a system with:
1) a 6528 isolated DIO card with a hardware watchdog AND
2) a 6221 DAQ card. Among other things.
The real program runs two machines, acquiring data from both and
monitoring the output comands to both. Periodically both machines save
a data history. Since it takes some time to format the data, machine 1
will "snapshot" its data and inform machine 2 that it has done so.
When machine 2 gets to a point in its operation where it can tolerate a
long interruption, it signals the "data manager" that it's safe to save
the snapshot to disk. At that time, the watchdog is reset to allow a
much longer timeout, the waveform data is appended, the command data
interleaved, and the whole batch saved. After that, the data monitors
are reinitialized and the watchdog set to a normal interval. If
necessary, the DAQ resets as well.
Interleaving the data is required because the DAQ runs at 200Hz and the commands are updated at ~50Hz (nominally).
If you don't have the cards in your system, this test has been designed
to run with a simulator. The data isn't pretty because most of the
control system isn't here, but it works.
The problem is that sucessive data saves tend to take longer and
longer. Sometimes the OS (W2k) complains it's out of memory and shuts
LabVIEW down. I think there's a memory leak somewhere, but it's not
consistent. It also seems to work differently on WxP. WxP complains
about increasing the page size of virtual memory. Troubleshooting so
far shows most of the time is being used in state "Format WF". In the
real system, without simulating, the operation can take from 4-5
seconds to over 2 minutes. The ERA section seems to have more trouble
than HA, although state "Format WF" is the same for both.
Anyone care to comment?

This post is now mostly of academic interest. I've solved, or at least worked around the problem by saving 4 data files fo "ER" and 3 for "HA." I will write another VI to join the files later. The newer VIs still take 3-5 mS to run (accumulate), which is marginal for the application. I don't see how they can be made faster though. The cycle rate could probably be lowered, and the data rate taken to 100Hz, but I'm fighting response time and some noise filtering issues too. Higher sample / cycle rates help.
I've got a test program that will run all weekend trying to fill up a hard drive. If it survives then I'll call it good to install in the real program.

In order to sync they need to be using the same apple id.
I am not sure I understand your question. If you are using two different emails? I assume you mean apple id.

If the apps that are on your son's iPad were purchased under his Dad's Apple ID, then signing your Apple ID onto the iPad will not help you with updating those apps.
Also, if the iPad was sync'd with his Dad's iTunes library, then hooking it up to your computer/iTunes library, will require you to reset the iPad, and everything that was loaded under the other Library and Apple ID will be wiped out.
Can you provide a little more info about what was set up under which Apple ID and what iTunes library the iPad was sync'd with?

If so, go to id.apple.com, manage apple id, sign in with current id, edit email back to the one showing in icloud settings. You can now sign out of icloud with your current password. Then back to id.apple.com, change your email back to the current one, verify it and sign back in to icloud.

How can I make iMessage work on 2 iPhones with 2 different phone numbers using the same Apple ID?

My work requires me to split time between two countries (Ph and Bn). I had an iPhone 4 with a Ph number and a Nokia for the Bn number. iMessage was running on the iPhone 4 with the Ph number and my apple ID. I recently replaced the Nokia with an iPhone 5 which I set up using the iCloud back up of my iPhone 4. I cant seem to set up iMessage (and Facetime) the way I want it to work on the iPhone 5. Im not sure if iOS 6 would allow me to do this so I'm throwing this out to the forums to check if its possible.

Ive tried turning on/off my iPhone 5 and logging on and off iMessage but I cant seem to get it to update the iMessage phone number to the Bn number. Any idea how I can do this?

I believe because you migrated from a Nokia to an iPhone you need to register the Bn phone number with your Apple ID so it can be used for iMessage. The Pn number seems to be the only one registered

I can't use the iCloud feature on Safari with Mountain Lion.

I updated to Mountain Lion but my iPad 3rd gen and my iPhone 4S will not update or use the iCloud function in Safari. It says it works on my computer, but the icon is not on my IOS devices. In the IOS 6 update info it says that iCloud web page sharing between devices would come out in fall, so why do I have it on my
computer then? If it is supposed to work just give me a sollution please, I just want it to work.
PS. My IOS devices says they are already up to date.

Please tell me that it has NEVER been jailbroke. If it has not been jailbroke, here are some standard repair procedures:
First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. It could take well over an hour! Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow the on-screen directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore (or it doesn't help), go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here. You WILL lose all of your data (game scores, etc,) but, for the most part, you can redownload apps and music without being charged again. Also, if you have IOS-7, read this.

So i cannot utilize itunes successfully to import contacts from my old Iphone 3 and export to new iphone 4. I tried backup of the iphone 3 then restore from backup to my new iphone 4.
I tried using export windows address through itunes and it was successful as a group but not in a format icloud can import. If i select vCard it is one item at a time. UGH!

From reading on the internet, it appears that when there is a spike in memory usage, AVG "interprets" that as a memory leak, possibly caused by malware. AVG could be incorrect concerning that assumption. Maybe they are being a bit too conservative about memory usage; just my opinion.
The decision is yours to turn off the "advisor" or leave it on.
