My iPhone has two lists of calendars. One is On My iPhone, which has a list of "plain" calendars (e.g. Business) and not-so-plain calendars (e.g. Business[[email protected]@calendar]. (I think the last word is calendar. All I can see on the phone is... @ca)
Then I also have a list of MobileMe calendars. Both lists are identical with iCal, except for the bracketed items. They also are the same with the bracketed info added. Don't know where the bracketed items came from. Don't know which, if any I can/should delete.
And MobileMe doesn't seem to sync properly, probably because I'm using the wrong calendar (the On MobileMe list). This all has developed over the last weekend when my MobileMe account was closed and I had to create a new account and sync set-up--with the help of Apple staff.

You can uncheck multiple songs by selecting all the songs you want to uncheck, then right-click and choose "uncheck selection". Also, make sure that you have checked "Sync only checked songs and videos" on the Summary tab of your iTunes sync settings or the sync process will ignore your selections.
You can remove all the photos from your camera roll using Preview on your Mac. Connect your phone to your Mac, open Preview, go to File>Import from iPhone. When your photos appear in Preview, select the photos you want to delete, then click on the icon at the bottom showing the red circle with the diagonal line through it (see image below), then click Delete.
To remove photos from the Photo Stream album on your phone you'll have to either reset Photo Stream (deleting all the photos from iCloud) or turn off Photo Stream on your phone.

I have this exact problem. I have 3 email addresses on my mac and I can select one, and the email still be sent through another account and I won't know it until I get a reply for that email in one of the other accounts.

I have a fusion ADF application where I have defined two Data Controls.
One is called AppModuleDatacontrol and the other AppModuleWSDataControl.
I do this in order to be able to commit DML made on one Data Control independently of the other.
The problem is that when a do something like:

As long as they're defined as separate root AMs and you've used the <No Controller Transaction> option they will work with different db connections, therefore different transactions too.

Within scope of one BTF yes. In scope of chained BTFs that's dependent on the BTF data control scope option. If you set that to isolated, each instance of a BTF will spawn a new instance of the AM in question (and new connections/transactions with the database). If you use shared, 1 instance of the AM will be shared (1 connection/transaction).

That depends on the data control scope option as specified above. If you want them to be independent, use the isolated data control scope options on the BTF.

because that PC stopped working so I had to recover it. Now everything is gone on that PC.

My iPhone has two identical options under "iTunes wi-fi sync" that are the same computer. I only have one user on my computer, and I tried moving my iTunes file in Finder to organize it and now my library's not synced with my phone. Help?
I have the same problem. Right now my iPhone 5S shows 3 instances of the computer to which it is connected under Settings » General » iTunes WiFi Sync. I'm having problems connecting and syncing, and this is probably the cause: the phone chooses one of these connections, and it isn't the one that's actually in use. What's probably happening is that the phone and computer establish a connection using a dynamic IP address, the address becomes "disassociated" due to error, another address is associated, the phone retains each address/link, and each link is displayed as if it represents a separate computer (the fact that the name of the computer is identical is ignored, as the only thing that is considered important is the IP address). But that's all conjecture. More important, I'm not sure how to fix the problem. A network reset doesn't do it.

I have two iPhones, one is a 4s and the other is a 3g. I have not used my 3g in some time now. I recently restored it but I cannot use it without a sim card, it says i have to "activate it." I cannot place my iPhone 4s sim card in it (too small), and i do not want to get a new contract or sim card for an iPhone that i do not ues very much.
Thanks for your help, but i cannot borrow a noral sim card now, my family has all up graded to iPhone 4s's, i have done this before, but one of my family had the same type of iphone so i could use theirs. Now i am the only one who still holds on to their old phone... I am not sure about buying an adapter...

Hello, I just activated another iphone4 on my account and it is now linked to my other iphone. If I delete a contact on one it deletes it on the other. Does anyone know how to fix?
One of the phones can keep the current account; on the one that will be moving go to Settings>iCloud and turn all data that is syncing with iCloud (contacts, calendars, etc.) to Off. When prompted choose to keep the data on the iPhone. After everything is turned off, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account. (This will only delete the account from this phone, not from iCloud. The other phone will not be effected by this.) Next, set up a new iCloud account on this phone using a different Apple ID and turn iCloud data syncing for contacts, etc. back to On. When prompted, choose Merge. This will upload the data to this new account. At this point you will have two different iCloud accounts, one for each phone, with identical data on them.
You will then have to go to icloud.com on your computer and sign into each iCloud account separately and manually delete the unwanted data (such as deleting the original phone's contacts from the new phone's account, and vice versa). These changes will be reflected on each phone. -
Good Evening, I have just purchased a Macbook Pro, and have downloaded two SD cards of a trip to USA and Canada last September. One via Lightrooom 4 and the other via iPhoto. I tried to import the SD card via iPhoto into Lightroom 4 but could not find it. I tried to find this "folder"? via other means with no success. however when I open iPhoto, there it is, so it must be on the Hard Drive somwhere??? I am new to Apple having decided to jump ship from Windows. Would be grateful for any help.
iPhoto is a - like Lightroom - Photo Manager. It's a database. Like any db to get data out you have to export it.
File -> Export
and in this case set the Kind to Original.
iPhoto is a $15 app, LR is somewhat more expensive. As they both want to manage the photos there's no good usage scenario where you use both. Pick one horse and ride, essentially.

I have two excel files I cannot open or delete from my desktop. One is titled 6ACAD200 and the other file is titled 8D73A700. How can I get these off of my computer?
From the names I'd guess they are temporary files. If excel is running, quit and try again. If they still won't move or delete reboot. If they still won't move or delete...kill a chicken at midnight under an oak tree?

How do I get my iPad and IPhone synced where if I delete an email off one it is deleted off the other device? I can get all the Apps and music from one to the other but why won't the emails I delete off one not delete off the other? Is there anyway where I can make this happen?
As James says, make sure that you are using the IMAP servers for your email. You will need to check the help pages for your email provider to get the correct settings in all your devices. POP really doesn't fit the needs of todays mutiple access, always on internet, so you are better off moving to IMAP.
