My iphone has wiped everything from my last back up which was in august! what can i do before i go to my local Apple store this weekend?

this is my first post so ill be breif,
on tuesday i deleted a load of pictures that i had saved off FaceBook, i panicked and with the advise of many websites restored to last back up which was in august!!!! the pictures ive saved off face book im not so bothered about its what got deleted in the restoring process that im upset about; holiday photos family stuff christmas etc etc . im going into my local store tomorrow i just want to know what i can do in the mean time... i cant even access my icloud to get the stuff back because its restored my old apple id and password and i cant remember it for the life of me please help!!!

If you do not have a newer backup than the one you just restored from, then nothing is going to be there. You can contact Apple support to try and recover your Apple ID password. If you have backed up the phone since you restored from the old backup, then there will not be another backup for you to get information from. The iPhone replaces the old backups with the current backup.

Once the Device is asking to be Restored with iTunes... it is too late to save anything...
To minimise loss... Connect to iTunes on the computer you Usually Sync with and Restore from the most recent Backup...

I downloaded ios 6 on iphone 4s, the iphone has a pic of a connection cord with iTunes written above it. When I connected the iphone to the laptop I get the message "itunes detected an iphone in recovery mode. You must restore this iphone before it can be used with itunes" What does this mean? Do I have to restore the iphone to factory settings? I have data in the iphone that I can not lose. Please help me.

You should transfer any purchases from iphone regularly: File>Transfer Purchases , if they fail to be transferred when you sync.
You buy one and only one download. It is your responsibility to move/copy/backup your purchases.
You can try contacting itunes support and asking for an exception, but they are under no obligation to allow.

If your iPhone is not working with a SIM card inserted, I recommend these troubleshooting steps:
Try turning iPhone off and then on again.
Check for a carrier settings update. Tap Settings > General > About. If an update is available, a prompt will appear.
Remove the SIM Card and verify that it is a valid, carrier-manufactured SIM. Also verify that it is not damaged, worn, or modified. Then reinsert it.
Restore the iPhone.
If you still are unable to resolve this issue, contact Apple support for further assistance.

As far as i know, you can use a third party iPad photos recovery software to have a try. If i remember correctly, this software has two methods to restore your photos. One is recovering from your iTunes backup, another is recovering from your iPad directly.

It sounds like your iPhone screen is solid white and you cannot do anything with it. Take a look at these steps from the following article about that kind of issue:
Get help with the screen on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
If you see a solid color screen (black, white or blue)
Plug in your device to a power source. If you see the low-battery screen when you plug in, let your device charge for at least 10 minutes (20 minutes for iPad) before using it.
Reset your device while it's plugged in.
If resetting doesn’t fix the issue, restore your device.
If you still see the issue after you restore, contact Apple Support.

Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after the iPad shuts down, then press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds). Ignore the "Slide to power off"

What happened to them? They can't just disappear? Have you changed computers or re-loaded the OS since the last time you synced? Do you have a backup of your computer from when they were present in iTunes? Were they ever present in iTunes?

Want to transfer everything from my IPod back to my computer

I crashed my computer and everything got deleted. I want to be able to transfer some things from my IPod back on my computer so that I can sync my IPod safely. I was using Senuti which was working fine until I had to put things that was already transfered onto my computer once and was deleted. Now that it has been transfer it doesn't seem to want to transfer those items again. Is there another way. Also, I transfered my purchases back on my computer once and now I can't do that again either.

There's a manual method of copying songs from your iPod to a Mac or PC. The procedure is a bit involved and won't recover playlists but if you're interested it's available on page 2 at this link: Copying Content from your iPod to your Computer - The Definitive Guide

I would also advise that you get yourself an external hard drive and back your stuff up, relying on an iPod as your sole backup is not a good idea and external drives are comparatively inexpensive these days, you can get loads of storage for a reasonable outlay: Back up your iTunes library by copying to an external hard drive

I had major issues with the iPhone 4s battery, however it’s resolved.
The tech who set the phone up at the Apple store did so with little training.
if you have a mobile me account. First go and move all your data to the cloud by going on your computer and logging in at me.com/move. The cloud has replaced mobile me, so there is no need for those two accounts
Also make sure that for any of your email accounts you set them up to fetch, not push. My tech person set them all to have the email servers push data to the phone. The new iphone4s antenna is extremely strong so it will continually try to access stuff that is pushed–***** a lot of battery life doing this. It makes it worse if you have exchange 2010 accounts. Something about changes made to exchange really suck battery life from devices that access such accounts.
