My iPhone is connected to WiFi but i dont have WiFi in my house? please help
I just bought my iPhone 4 yesterday and it connected to a WiFi connection but its not mine nor did I buy a WiFi adapter. Why is my iPhone telling me I have a WiFi Connection even though its not mine. If I use this so called WiFi connection will it count toward my GB's Plan. For the record i never signed up for WiFi with my provider. Its giving me Cisco13701 as a wiFi connection but its not mine? Why is my IPhone doin this? Please get back to me ASAP. Thanx.
It's perfectly fine to use others Wi-Fi connections if they're open, hacking into a connection though is not. Your iPhone connected into a open Wi-Fi conneciton which is perfectly free to use, Though using it could be considered rude and theres always the chance that the owner of the Wi-Fi connection can track your cookies etc and see what you were on.(That can also allow them to login to your private accounts such as email or social networking sites) I would reccomend only using Wi-Fi connections that belong to you or that you trust.

After I tried to update my Ipad mini to the newest update, it kept saying hello on my lock screen in different languages and then when I slide the screen across, it says connected to itunes but it's not doing anything!! By the way my Ipad mini is plugged into my computer and connected to itunes!! Please help me!!
FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port.
DO NOT RELEASE BUTTON until you see picture of iTunes and plug
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...

1. Data will be lost if you do not have backup

i have downloaded OS X Yosemite using recovery from boot but while installing error occuring showing unable to extract essential.pkg so can't install. problem is i have already formatted my drive and dont have any os right now. only the downloaded new os x yosemite in the os x base system. please help

Back up all data to at least two different storage devices, if you haven't already done so. One backup is not enough to be safe. The backups can be made with Time Machine or with Disk Utility. Preferably both.
Erase and install OS X. This operation will destroy all data on the startup volume, so you had be better be sure of the backups.
Step 4
Make a "Genius" appointment at an Apple Store, or go to another authorized service provider to have the machine tested. -

I ran out of memory on my iphone so I downloaded icloud and backed everything up on that. I still have no available usage. Do I delete everything off of my phone because its on Icloud? I cant do any updates to my phone because im out of memory and i only have 3 apps downloaded. Why??
Backing up to iCloud doesn't allow you to free up space on your phone. If you delete any of the iCloud data from your phone, it will also be deleted from iCloud and it will be lost. If you need to free up space on your phone, you'll have to delete or sync some data off of it.
If you aren't sure how much space you have available on your phone or what is using the space, go to Settings>General>Usage and wait for the apps list to open. -

It's been over a month since I accessed my files for work. (microsoft office, photos, videos) Today when I came in to work I realized that all the files on my desktop had disappeared. Unless the files were dumped in the Trash unintentionally, your files are still on your computer, somewhere. It's pretty easy to put files or folders in places without knowing it, but there is a good technique to find your data.'
Think over a file or folder whose name is familiar. Then, press Cmd-Space at the same time, which brings up Spotlight - the easiest way to locate files, folders, history, and much more. If you end up with a blank the first time, try again until you have a hit. If you have a hit, note the location of the files/folder; it's likely that all of your lost documents are in the same place.

I tried to update my IPhone 4 last night thru ITunes and got and error when almose done 9006. It says in the nes that you have to do it thru wifi but do not have wifi and so I synced it with my computer and said I have the new update down now and selected yes and it startedto do it then stopped 3 times with error 9006? Normally what you should do is go back the retailer from whom you purchased the card and discuss the problem with them. They should either correctly activate the card or give you a new one. Since you have no receipt, though, it's unlikely that Target will help you, so go here:

My iPhone 5 is experiencing problems with the Wifi at home. It shows that it is connected to the wifi but anything that uses wifi (apps etc) doesn't load content and just looks like it's loading forever but nothing ever comes. However the wifi and wifi/internet dependant apps work sometimes but it's rare. How do I fix this?
Back up all data.
Unlock the Network preference pane, if necessary, by clicking the lock icon in the lower left corner and entering your password. Cllck Advanced, open the DNS tab, and change the server addresses to the following:
8.8.8.8
8.8.4.4
That's Google DNS. Click OK, then Apply.
In Safari, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Privacy ▹ Remove All Website Data
and confirm. If you’re using another browser, empty the cache. Test. Any difference?
Notes:
1. If you lose Internet access after making the above change to your network settings, delete the Google servers in the Network preference pane, then select the TCP/IP tab and click Renew DHCP Lease. That should restore the original DNS settings; otherwise restore them yourself. Remember that you must click Apply in order for any changes to take effect.
2. I don't use Google DNS myself, though I have tested it, and I'm not recommending it or any other DNS provider; the server addresses are offered merely for testing purposes. There may be privacy and technical issues involved in using that service, which you should investigate personally before you decide whether to keep the settings. Other public DNS services exist. -

It sounds like your uncle is talking about a router with a wps ( wi-fi protected setup) function where you can press a button on the pc and router and then the router sends the network info to the pc, well unfortunately this does not work with the iPhone, you will need the password.
Alternatively you can get the password by entering the routers internet based managment page by typing in its ip address into the address bar of your web browser ( usually this is somthing like 192.168.1.1 if this dosent work try googling the manufacturers name, model number and a query e.g. linksys 54geu router managment ip address? ) if after typing in the router management ip address you get a page asking for a user name and password try entering Admin for the username and password for the password ( these are somtimes used as defaults untill you log in and change them) if these dont work they have probably been changed. Once in the router management page go to the wireless section and you will find the network security key (password) in the security tab usually these are obscured as astrixes but ticking the show characters box will let you see them.
