My iphone is connected to wireless but itunes and appstore doesnt work. Safari doesnt open websites?

My WiFi is connected to my iphone 5s but if I will open the appstore,itunes etc they say 'cannot connect to app store'. And if I open Safari, there is no 'server'. I restart my iphone but nothing changes. Please help me. Thank You. (Excuse me for my bad English)

You may not really be connected to your WiFi network.
Your router may not have given your iPhone a valid IP address. Go to Settings > Wifi > your network name and touch the "i" to the right to see the network details. If the IP address starts with 169 or is blank then your router didn't provide an IP address and you won't be able to access the Internet.
Sometimes the fix can be as simple as restarting your router (remove power for 30 seconds and restart). Do not reset your router. Next, reset network settings on your iPhone (Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings) and then attempt to connect. In other cases it might be necessary to update the router's firmware with the latest from the manufacturer's support web pages.
If you need more help please give more details on your network, i.e., your router make, model and version, the wifi security being used (WEP, WPA, WPA2), etc.

    my iphone 4s is connected to wireless, but the internet won't work. i know the internet is working, because i'm able to access it from my computers. and this problem is happening at every wireless network i've tried in the last 48 hours. it is connected to all the wireless networks, but is not getting internet. the phone works and i'm able to get texts. but none of the apps the use the internet are working. i do not have a data plan, so i can only access the internet through wireless.

    still no dice. any other suggestions, short of wiping my entire phone?

    This just happened to me and was super frustrating!  Thank you for your post and working out how to fix the bug.  I have one question.  After you reset your VPN in settings, did you resort your iPhone on your computer after?  I am just wondering if restoring it now will help stop the bug happening in the future?!?!

    Ok, I usually check for updates for application using iTunes and I have updated some applications with it, however, I have noticed that there are some apps that has updates but won't be detected by iTunes. I would manually check the version I have in iTunes versus the store and when I download and do a sync, it updates it. So now my question is, uhh..what is happening?
    I obviously can't rely on the auto update within iTunes and the App Store on the iPhone doesn't detect it as well..
    Can someone shed some light with this?

    Thanks good to know. As long as it's a known issue. I guess I just have to deal with it. I know that I have seen on blogs for new application updates and I would be like ok good. But it would never ever show up in my iTune or appstore on the iPhone. So I guess I just have to keep that in mind and download manually.

    What happens when you try to load a page in a web browser? Is there some kind of error message, and if so, what does it say? Have you tried multiple different pages, with the same results? What about Mail - do you use that, and if so, is it able to connect?
    I notice there's a disparity between the short text preview of your post and what is actually showing. I'm not sure whether that's because you edited the post or what, but you had (at some point) said:
    if I can access both the iTunes and App Stores and download virus definitions
    The question in my mind is, what virus definitions? What anti-virus software do you have installed? Have you tried disabling it to see if the problem goes away?
    Edit: Ahh, and now I can see the post where you said that, whereas it wasn't showing up at all before. This forum software is having serious problems this week!

    I Have had the same problem. Updating apps or downloading apps from the App Store has been hit and miss. Also, I have found that iPhoto does not work properly. I have had a spinning wheel on my photos for over a week now. Apple have certainly stuffed this release up.

    Currently getting "Unknown Error" on iTunes when I try to purchase anything. It will then ask me to login again (when you do it just says Unknwon error again)
    Also on app store, I get "cannot connect to iTunes store". I have two Internet connections and my 3G connection, all don't work. I know my Password is correct (I logged into here) and I have both iPhone 4s and iPad 1 on different iOS versions (4.?? And 5.1) sO the only connection is Apples systems.
    Anyone else got this fault or know how to fix it?

    I have finally seemed to fix mine, in a rather strange way
    Logged into iTunes on my PC, checked around and checked everything was working.
    Then I attempted to check for updates on my apps (on my phone), which I lucky had one - although it didn't tell me which one. Clicked "Update All" and typed in my password. Then when I went back into the AppStore/iTunes it was working again.
    Hope this helps someone, I'm a Microsoft engineer and not so good with Apple equipment lol

    No, it does not.  It transfers purchases from the iDevice to the computer.  The computer must be authorized for the Apple ID that the content was acquired with.

    Did you try recovery mode?  Hold down the home button as you connect it to iTunes.  iTunes should pop up a window that says "iTunes has detected a device in recovery mode" and give you the option to restore.

    My airport express and wireless airplay speaker are connected to WIFI, but airplay and homesharing are not working...what to do?  Everything was working fine until about two weeks ago, all of the sudden airplay has disappeared from the iphone, itunes on the laptop, and the apple remote for iphone.  I have restarted the router many times, re-setup the airplay speaker and the airport express and booth are showing as being properly connected to the router when I log into the router IP address.  I was on the phone with Apple support for 30 minutes they blames verizon, got on the phone with verizon and they stated the settings were all correct and compatible with apple, got back on the phone with apple and they again are blaming verizon and trying to get me to get an airport extreme because that would fix the problem...any suggestions, please!

    There are three Airport resets, soft, hard and factory default.  It would probably be beneficial if you tried each one in sequence.  Actually, you could jump to the factory default reset if you don't mind reconfiguring from scratch.

    A Restore first downloads a new copy of iOS to your computer. On a slow Internet connection this can take a long time. How fast is your connection? How long would you expect it to take to download 900 MB?
    That's assuming nothing is interfering with the download. Some firewalls and antivirus programs will block the download or slow it down. So you should temporarily disable your security software. Security software can also block the update after the iOS download is complete.

    Iphone will sync with one and only one cpomptuer at a time.  Syncing to another will erase the current content and replace with content from the new computer.  This is the design of the  iphone.
    It will erase the content when you sync.
    Why not update from the comptuer with which you normally sync?

    Now when i get in the car, it acts like it is connected and makes the same call it was on after syncing to bluetooth, but it really isn't on a call.  This is happening on both cars.
    Does anyone know if this is the phone and i need to take it to Apple or if there is an issue that Apple is working on getting a fix for?
    My son in law has the exact same phone as me, we both got the on 10/6, he had a Dodge Dart and his is working via bluetooth.
    Someone HELP please, as i consider this a safety issue by not having my calls go to bluetooth.

    We had the same problem, but figure out the solution.
    You MUST have at least 1 song added to your ITUNE!  After you add a free song, then everything else should work as normal!
