My iphone is getting a message of "this device is no longer eligible for an Icloud account"

Hello, I am resetting my iPhone 5 and I am getting a message that says  " this device is not eligible for a an icloud email" . I don't know which email I used to set it up. How can I delete it from the device.

You can't 'recycle' (nor delete) an iCloud account. As said above, you can create an account elsewhere and then sign into it on the iPad in question.
