I woke up this morning to the same problem on my iPhone 6 + and came across this string. Trying to get to settings to change the Zoom setting was useless. The display was so enlarged that I couldn't even enter my security code after doing a hard reset. It turns out that the solution is to double-tap with three fingers. When I did, the display snapped back into the correct perspective. I could then go into Settings/General/Accessibility and turn off Zoom. Thanks, PaulCB!

You have Zoom on... double tap with three fingers to turn it off. Go into Settings > General > Accessibility to disable it.

Well start with the usual of restarting your iPhone. If this doesn't solve your problem I would suggest backing up your iPhone then restoring it via iTunes.

It sounds like you may have inadvertently activate the Zoom Accessibility feature on your iOS device. The following link from the online iOS 8 iPhone User Guide explains how to turn the feature off or deactivate it:

Many apps let you zoom in or out on specific items. For example, you can double-tap or pinch to look closer in Photos or expand webpage columns in Safari. But, there’s also a general Zoom feature that lets you magnify the screen no matter what you’re doing. You can zoom the entire screen (Full Screen Zoom) or zoom part of the screen in a resizable window and leave the rest of the screen unmagnified (Window Zoom). And, you can use Zoom together with VoiceOver.
Turn Zoom on or off. Go to Settings > General > Accessibility > Zoom. Or, use the Accessibility Shortcut. See Accessibility Shortcut.
Zoom in or out. With Zoom turned on, double-tap the screen with three fingers.
Adjust the magnification. Double-tap with three fingers, then drag up or down. The tap-and-drag gesture is similar to a double-tap, except you don’t lift your fingers on the second tap—instead, drag your fingers on the screen. You can also triple-tap with three fingers, then drag the Zoom Level slider in the controls that appear. To limit the maximum magnification, go to Settings > General > Accessibility > Zoom > Maximum Zoom Level.
You should be able to perform these steps before being required to enter your password.

After many attemps to contact you I landed here, so here is my question.
I recently bought an iPhone 4 over the internet which was locked and not yet activated.
Therefor I need to find out which carrier my iPhone is locked to so I can finally start using this thing, I will not provide my IMEI number in public for security reasons.
So is it possible to check my Carrier lock status by my IMEI / serial number? Because I think it is AT&T yet I am not sure, and I can't check it because I live in Belgium where I cannot get a hold of an AT&T sim card. The owner told me it was a dutch phone so it had to be locked with T-Mobile yet they don't seem to recognize the IMEI. The model number is MC318LL LL is coded for America as I seem to have heard.
Please do help me because I have made MANY attempts finding this out!

This is a user to user help forum only.
This cannot be determined by users with the info provided, and I'm not sure if Apple would give you this info over the phone if you called AppleCare in the U.S. - for security and privacy reasons.
You need to get this info from the seller. If the seller is unable to give you this info or the correct info, return it to the seller for payment credit and purchase an iPhone in your country from an official retailer and you will have less problems or no problems including not having to hack the iPhone to unlock it which removes all the built-in security making it insecure as with an Android phone.

I can't do that because the device was purchased from United Arab Emirates and I got it as a gift in Syria but the problem is that there is not even a single apple store in Syria so is there another way to fix that, I googled it and was told to jailbreak the device whitch I did and than hacktivated it but the problem is the device doesn't connect to any network and only shows "no service" and the battery draining too fast so is there any other way to fix this issue

If you have just purchased the iPhone second hand and it is asking for the password to an Apple id that is not yours ,then the iPhone is locked to the original owner and only they can release it

Is there a factory unlock that I can buy to unlock an IPhone 5c locked to Sprint

Please help. I bought an IPhone 5c locked to Sprint from an eBay seller. It was only slightly discounted so not cheap! My daughter searched in eBay and we paid with her birthday money.
I thought any phone could be unlocked as did not think eBay would allow anyone to sell a phone that could not be unlocked.
I took the phone to my local shop but they say only Sprint can unlock the phone. The seller claims the phone can be unlocked and says there are plenty of websites that offer this service. He says he has had many phones unlocked and I should not have any problems. He won't help in any way as says it is my responsibility to get the phone unlocked.
Sprint have confirmed the phone was previously on contract and the account was of good standing and if I provide the last known telephone number they will unlock it. I would prefer to do this or pay a reputable company to unlock the phone.
The ebay seller says he bought the phone brand new from a USA website And it was never on a contract.
He claims he "used the phone" but decided to stick to Samsung' hence the reason for selling it.
I suspect the seller bought the phone, could not get it unlocked and has conned me.
When the seller said he had been using the phone I assumed he had used it while working in the USA. He now claims when he says he used the phone that he only used it on wifi In the UK.
Sprint say I should ask for a refund if the seller cannot/will not provide the last known phone number.
I have asked for a refund and eBay have supported the seller saying I am not entitled to a refund as they say the item is as described.
I have looked on-line and I can see all the reputable companies offer an unlock service for almost every network except Sprint.
There are a very few companies claiming they can unlock the phone but I fear they are all scam sites as when you call no-one answers. They say to call and they will answer any questions Before placing your order. There are many bad reviews and there is not one review from anyone who has had a Sprint IPhone 5c unlocked.
Help. I always expected to pay for the phone to be unlocked, I am not expecting a free service but just want advice on where to go to get the phone unlocked legally and safely With a reputable company.

Sorry, but unlocking can only be done by the provider, if this is supported by the provider.
If the provider does not offer unlocking the device, you'll have to sell it again, it can't be used with another SIM card.

This can help you keep your device secure, even if it is in the wrong hands, and can improve your chances of recovering it. Even if you erase your device remotely, Activation Lock can continue to deter anyone from reactivating your device without your permission. ALL iPhones (the 4 at least) sold through authorized channels in Singapore are unlocked. If you got it on the gray market, as opposed to from one of the three authorized carriers or directly from Apple, and you're getting an "unsupported SIM" message, then you got taken for a ride.

IPhone is locked on Connect To iTunes screen.

Extremly frustrating, I was just simply updating my phone to the new OS, and suddenly comes up with an error message, and me in my all infinite wisdom, ignore it and continued. And boom, iPhone 4 locked curretly on the Connect To iTunes. I don't know if the iPhone is being sarcastic and trolling me, since it's not even reconsied on the computer at all, not even as a connected device, Comes up with the USB sound..but nothing is showing. Yes, I've reset it, held down the power button, held down the home button, connected it on and off, switched USB cables, powered it up, reset iTunes, checked if the Apple Mobile was current, reset that, tried to update that, reset computer once again, tried to reset it again, held down the home button while connected for another 30 minutes..and nothing!! Fuming so hard now. I doubt i'd get a new one, and I booked a callback which will cost me a mint most likely and probably wont even fix it.

Close your iTunes,
Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 & above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.

Take it to an Apple Store or Authorized Apple Repair Center and have it assessed and see what it would take to get it working.
