My iPhone is permanently disabled (with the apple logo showing) after trying to update. Also battery doesn't seem to charge. How do I reboot?
I was trying to update my iphone software recently all was going well until I had to connect to itunes. After connecting with itunes, the "restore" proceedure did not work as supposed to and the phone is now permanently off with the apple logo showing continously. The phone also doesn't seem to hold charge and its been plugged into a power source for over 6 hours. Phone also gets quite warm. What can I do?

If you are trying to charge from your computer, try a different USB port, or try charging from a wall outlet.

So my iphone 2g stucked on the apple logo and i tried with itunes restore....i put it in and everything is okay i get the usb cable and the itunes logo on the display but after extracting the software there is a problem.Itunes start restoring the software and then i hear windows unplug sound and is restoring the whole internity and my iphone display is not on.....can you tell me how to fix my issue.
P.S Excuse my english.Hey Edgar, how exactly did you do the updates? Are you running iTunes 11.2.2? And you iPod 5 is still running iOS 6.1.2 as your tag shows? or are you running iOS 7.1.1? More info would be helpful. As Deggie asked, what was the error message, the more detailed the better. One more thing-- is this a Mac machine or a PC? Cheers.

I was unlocking my 3g iphone with at&t's approval, on the process I reset:erase all settings and content. now my iphone blocked out(not responding) with only the apple logo. I tried DFU mode several times but itunes still not recognizing the iphone. I previously backed up before. Help...what do I d now? thanks

I was updateing the software on my ipod through the wireless straight to the ipod and had to stop so held down both the power and the home buttons. Now the screen is frozen with the apple logo and the normal 'unfreeze' technique won't work. The computer does not recognise the ipod so will not charge or restore it. Is there anything that I can do myself?
Unplug it and let unit go dead. Then hold your Home button down and plug the USB power cord back in. iTunes should see it and then restore.

I reset my mini ipad using settings as itunes was "freezing" now my ipad is completely frozen -- shows the apple logo and white line underneath and the it stops

My IPhone 4 froze while ported to my PC while I was backing up new version of Apple software.
It can take a while for the progress bar to move, mine sat there with no movement for over an hour.
Be patient and do not do anything it will complete in time. -

With iTunes open on computer, connect iPhone with USB cable. Hold both Home and Power buttons until iTunes recognizes iPhone in Recovery Mode. Usually about 20 seconds time. Restore iPhone Firmware.

I had the same thing that my iphone 3gs jammed with the loge on the screen. None of the buttons responded. I just waited till the battery was empty. But the battery wasn't laoding. I waited 48h while my iphone was plugged in. After the 48 hours he just started. The battery was still empty but it started loading.

My iPhone 4s is not switching on, I connected it to itunes thru my Windows 7 laptop and it says phone needs to be restored. I clicked okay and it started the process however the progress bar with the apple logo is on the screen, progress in the bar did not start yet after 5 hours. Some one please hep me.
I did put it in DFU mode but its still not working, although everytime it shows your iphone needs to be restored. Kindly help.
