My iPhone is possessed
For the past four weeks my iPhone has been dialing numbers across the US letting it ring once or twice and then hanging up. People are calling saying they missed my call. In other cases the number is called multiple times upsetting the person because they think I'm playing games. I have called Verizon, we switched to a new phone and I've been calling Apple support.
We thought maybe it was an app with a virus so phone was reset as new with no apps but the basic installed apps on board and I'm still getting call backs since resetting it to new. Have had calls from CA, SC, TX and NY. These are the ones returning my call. God knows how many received a call but ignored it.
I am so frustrated. Anyone have this happen to them? Any solution?
Right now I think the only solution left is change the phone number. I love my iPhone but I hate upsetting folks and having them call thinking I'm playing games. I'm too old for that.
If anyone has an idea please pass along. Enough is enough.
You may have no choice. Someone has hacked the phone system and chosen your phone number as the one they are forging in the caller ID display. Stopping them may be very difficult for the phone company. Heck, they don't even necessarily have ot hack the system, just forge the caller ID. Hunting them down could be extremely difficult if not impossible and they probably aren't in the U.S. anyway, meaning there is nothing realistic that can be done.

Since upgrading the software on my iPhone 4 to 5.0.1, I have had problems with the screen being very unresponsive and at times it seems to be possessed. It flicks from app to app at one time calling Apple HO and deleting e mails. I have restored the phone on iTunes but it hasn't made ant difference. Help!
Made an appointment to see Genius in store over weekend and guess what - phone now working perfectly!! Should I still go or cancel and see what happens (don't want to waste their time but don't want to be stuck over Christmas with a phone going mad)?

My iphone is possessed. Lockscreen lights alone
I received a new iphone 4 (the previous was broken)
I installed the ios 7.1.1 and restored my icloud apps.
When I lock the screen, 10 to 20 seconds after, the screen turns on and 1 seconds after turns off. This happens continuously until the battery runs out.
I've restarted the device twice and the same happens.
HELP...I did as advised but the problem still persist. The curious thing is that the problem does not exist when the iphone is charging the battery. ????

My IPhone is possessed! PLEASE HELP!
I've had my IPhone since July and have never had a problem with it...until recently. About a month ago, when putting my phone into sleep-mode (pressed the top button, but not holding down to turn it off completely) my phone made this bizarre chirping noise. It kept doing this until I completely turned off my phone and hasn't happened since. This morning, I went to check my mail and my phone vibrated, alerting me that I had new mail. Well my phone has not stopped vibrating since then. It had stopped vibrating when put into sleep mode a couple times, but when turned back on it continued to vibrate continuously. I've completely turned it off and now have restored it with no avail.
Has this ever happened to anyone else? What do I do? It is SO annoying! It sounds like a malfunction in the hardware, i would take it back to the apple store and let the genius's take a look at it and most likely replace it.

My iPhone is possessed - Facetime called someone at 1am while I was sleeping?
Pretty much what it says up there. Scared it will happen again. Solutions?
Mine apparently called some random girl from my contacts with a phone number of hot&sexy. Im in the flipping dog house and my wife is ******. WHAT THE ****?! I didn't try to call text or facetime the contact, but because its on the facetime it says recents. Its from an old hotmail acct that loaded into my contacts when i synced up 4 years ago.

IPhone 5s possessed? Texting, emailing on its own, etc
i updated my 5s a few weeks ago to ios8, and haven't had any real issues until today. I was not even using the phone, but looked down and my phone was randomly testing, opening apps, deleting emails, and sending emails into folders at rapid speed. I couldn't get it to stop until I did a hard reset. I have no idea how much info I actually lost, but I do know that it deleted all the mail in 3 different folders in my yahoo mail, and sent texts to a few people. Luckily the texts were full of emoticons and not much else!
Has anyone else had this happen? Don't want this happening again.Similar thing happened to me twice! Phone started entering my passcode and started opening apps and started commenting on FB! I just had to turn the phone off. I don't know why it happened!!!

Downloaded iTunes 10.5 and now my speakers don't work.
Exactly what it says;
Suppose I should elaborate: this has nothing to do with an iPad or an iPhone (I possess neither), but ever since I downloaded 10.5 this morning the computer isn't recognizing any audio input at all (I've tried wiggling the headphones and everything).
It also seems to be freezing up and taking an alarmingly long time for me to get places; it took me a long while even to be able to get to this page, which is confusing. -
I received a notification on my Iphone recently that "Leroys Ipad" is now using my phone number for Imessage. The problem is that i no longer have that Ipad but my ex girlfriend does and we no longer communicate. How do i receive Imessage on MY PHONE ONLY or delete other devices not in my possession from my messages?
You need to change your Apple ID password. You could login to Find My iPhone and wipe that iPad if you felt the need to do so.

Thanks for your help
Then your only option to remove these photos from your phone is to restore your device as NEW. -
Hey, apparently this iPhone 4S was dropped into the ocean and the light for the camera and a light where the 3G/4G bar is are both glowing. The iPhone 4S, I assume, was on iOS 5.1.1 I need help getting off info from it WITHOUT RESTORING IT. I'm not sure if Apple has any third party apps that they are allowed to suggest to us or if I'm on my own on this one, but if you guys can help I would greatly apperciate it.
Thanks! Those are definitely features of liquid damage. First step after completely drying the iPhone would be battery replacement. The camera circuitry and proximity sensor circuitry are surging because you are seeing these lights.
New battery may get this booted back up so you can recover data, or even get the iPhone working again. -
This is happening to my old iPhone too, so I guess it's a sync related issue, when I delete it a message comes out asking me that I'm deleting this bookmark, not an app, but can't find it's origin
But could the user of the phone just turn on iCloud themselves and get the private notes I wanted to keep from them? Is there a way to permanently delete them from the old phone without deleting from the new phone?

IPhone 5 acting possessed.
This problem just started a few hours ago. Every time I go and watch a video on YouTube, my music starts playing for a few seconds and then will stop. After this started happening, I just decided to listen to music and the song I was listening to randomly stopped, then sped up, and then stopped again. I would even go and kill the music and YouTube app but this problem kept occurring. All of this happened with my headphones in. It seems to be ok without my headphones. My iPhone have does have an update available and the phone is close to full. I've had my iPhone 5 for about a year give or take. I have no recently dropped my phone or got any water on it nothing on the phone is broken and I've never had any problems with the phone. Thanks!
Try This...
Close All Open Apps... Sign Out of your Account... Perform a Reset... Try again...
Reset ( No Data will be Lost )
Press and Hold the Sleep/Wake Button and the Home Button at the Same Time...
Wait for the Apple logo to Appear...
Usually takes about 15 - 20 Seconds... ( But can take Longer...)
Release the Buttons...
If no joy...
Then... Connect to iTunes on the computer you usually Sync with and Restore

Note:
Make sure you have the Latest Version of iTunes (v11) Installed on your computer

Basically my iPhone is pretty much on it's death bed. Not only are the cracks visible, but also the small chip on the left hand corner of the screen. On top of all that my lock button is jammed which doesn't help at all. I took it to Apple hoping they would change it as it's under warranty. However, those idiots decide to charge me 150 due to the small chip. NOW today my iPhone has suddenly started to control itself by asking me to 'slide to power off' each minute without me having to do anything. This is bad as it now cuts off calls due to wanting to turn off randomly. Can anyone out there help to fix this issue? As in, is there a way to disable the power off button?
There isn't a way to disable the Sleep Button (power button).
However depending on how long it's been, it might be out of your way, but you should take it back to Apple and complain that they didn't fix it (which they obvisouly didn't) and should fix/replace it without charging your more.
